Books and Cleverness - Hermione Granger
(Set in the time of the Goblet of Fire)
𝓓𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓓𝓲𝓪𝓻𝔂,
I can't believe I actually found time today to write a diary entry. I still can't write for long though, as I've still got the last part of my essay to complete. It's for Potions class, not the one about Emeric the Evil for History of Magic.
I hope that one matches Professor Binns' expectations. He does look quite irritated these couple of days. I suppose it's the pressure of correcting our long rolls of parchment, what with the O.W.L.s approaching.
Since he's a ghost, his irritation has been affecting his transparency, making him quite a peculiar sight at times.
Defence Against the Dark Arts has been interesting so far (although nobody can be compared to Professor Lupin, whom we had last year). Professor Moody showed us a demo of the three Unforgivable Curses, and yes, he's an Auror. It was slightly ghastly, I must say. Especially that Imperius Curse...
Anyway, the boys have been too caught up to focus on classes. They've been squabbling again. Boys...
Ron doesn't believe that Harry didn't put his name in the Goblet of Fire. Harry isn't too enthusiastic to discuss it with Ron either. They're not on talking terms now.
I actually do believe Harry. I'm pretty sure Dumbledore's age line is enough to keep under-seventeens out so Harry couldn't have put his name in the Goblet. I feel someone must have put his name in, and I'm certain they're no friends of ours.
The only highlight of the week was when Professor Moody transformed Malfoy into a white ferret. That was truly hilarious, and I feel Malfoy looks better as a ferret than in his snobby Slytherin form.
Well, I'm off to complete that essay on The Draught of Living Death for Potions! I'm sure it's pretty good. Good enough for even Snape to give it an eight out of ten, I daresay, when his usual generosity is between three and four. I really miss Professor Lupin.
𝓨𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓼, 𝓗𝓮𝓻𝓶𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓮.
