Chapter 54
"Knock knock," Savannah said, knocking on Dream's bedroom door briefly before walking in. Behind her, Sawyer walked in, looking at his phone. Once he entered the room, he took his Airpods out of his ears.
"Oh, hi guys," Dream looked up from where she was lying on her bed, watching reruns of Victorious. She turned the television off.
"Victorious? Nice!" Savannah commented, sitting down on the fluffy rug next to Dream's bed.
"You girls still watch Nickelodeon?" Sawyer laughed.
"You're one to talk, you literally watch Gilmore Girls," Savannah said, with an annoying smirk on her face.
Sawyer turned red, "I do not," he glared at his sister defensively.
"Huh," Savannah pulled out her phone, "Because I seem to have pictures...and even a couple videos..."
Sawyer's eyes widened. "What the heck, Savannah!" He lunged for her phone, and for a few minutes, he chased her around Dream's room.
Well, this is normal, Dream thought.
She was too busy watching Sawyer and Savannah's, er, catfight, that she didn't notice another person sneaking up behind her.
"Hey nerd."
Dream jumped in shock and surprise, feeling her blood begin to boil when she recognized the voice.
"Seriously?" she demanded, standing up with her hands on her hips. "This is literally the second time today you've entered my bedroom door through the window. Have you any basic human decency?"
"No?" Zac shrugged.
"And what's with scaring me?"
"It's not my fault you're not always on edge, preparing for me to sneak up on you at any given time," Zac tried to make it sound like the most normal thing ever.
"Yeah, um, no. No one's ever like that," Dream scoffed.
"Give me that!" Sawyer whined, trying to snatched his sister's phone.
"Nope," Savannah teased, "Don't want evidence of you doing stupid things? Then don't do stupid things," she taunted.
"Huh," Zac turned his attention to the sibling catfight.
Savannah turned around, suddenly noticing Zac's presence. Her eyes widened, and she took a step back, adjusting her hair and clothes.
Sawyer snorted, taking the chance to grab his sister's phone and try to delete the photos and videos.
"Nope," Dream said, taking the phone from his hands. "I need to see this."
Sawyer glared at her but didn't argue. Instead, he went to sit at Dream's desk, sulking.
"Woah," Axel walked in. "This is...unnaturally quiet? For our group?"
"Heh," Dream chuckled. "Things...happened in here."
"I can see."
"Well," Zac impatiently tapped his foot, looking at the clock on Dream's wall. "It's half past noon, and two certain people aren't here yet."
"Cut them some slack," Dream said. "Besides, all of you were late."
"Excuse me? I was four hours early."
"You were four hours early because you wanted to discuss," Dream could barely hold in her laughter, but she looked at Savannah and didn't want to give anything away, "Stuff."
"What stuff?" Savannah asked, curious.
"Oh, trust me, it's something you'll like," Dream assured her.
"Something she likes? I bet it starts with a 'z' and ends with a 'c'," Sawyer commented.
"Oh, shut up," Savannah glowered. Although her complexion was really dark, it still looked like she was blushing.
Axel rolled his eyes. "You're hopeless, you know that?"
"That's mean," Savannah stuck her tongue out at him.
"Real mature," Sawyer snorted.
Dream rolled her eyes. "Savannah is literally an African American version of Chloe, but with a better taste in fashion. I mean, you've got the really really curly hair, although Chloe's is dyed the most unnatural colors, the craziness, the immature-ness, the shopping addiction..."
"Fair enough," Axel shrugged.
"This is the life! Hold on tight! This is the dream! It's all I need!"
"Dream, your phone is ringing," Zac interrupted.
"Just because you're hearing Hannah Montana music doesn't necessarily mean my phone is ringing," Dream grumbled, but answering her phone anyways.
"Oh, I'm a hundred percent sure that every time I hear Hannah Montana music, it means your phone is ringing," Zac laughed.
"DREAM!" Chloe shrieked into the phone.
"What?" Dream said, growing worried. There was Chloe's happy shriek, excited shriek, nervous shriek, angry shriek, among many, many others, but this one was none of them.
"You have to come help us," Chloe whispered into the phone.
"What? I can't hear you."
"I said, you have to come help us!" Chloe said, slightly louder.
"Uh, okay, where are you?"
"Somewhere!"
"Real descriptive," Dream sarcastically said.
"No! This is no time for jokes. I'm being serious!"
"What do you mean?" Dream said, beginning to get nervous.
"Just come get us, okay?"
"You have to give me a location," Dream said. "Where are you?"
"Um...cabin...HELP!" the phone immediately disconnected.
Dream turned back to her friends with wide eyes.
"Cabin. Google all the cabins anywhere near here. Chloe is in trouble. And maybe also Francesca."
