Episode 10:Ah yes, forming a plan and fighting a devil

As Ben Tennyson stared at the strange house he wondered silently why it was so.. Not giant, he expected some huge ass castle, he's met kings before and they mostly lived in castles

"...Why isn't it huge?"(Ben)

"His house?"(Undyne)

"Yeah, I mean like- It's even named NEW HOME for crying out loud- bad name and smaller than my friends car.. spaceship thing."(Ben)

"yeah, he's horrible with names. he wanted to name asriel 'goat child' gast- my dad told me."(sans)

"Of course he did.. Welp shall we save the undergroun- World?"(Ben)

"i'd be honored, doubt i'll be of much use though, 1 damage and 1 defense, karmic retribution won't do much either.."(sans)

"But you could make a blue bone wall or cage right? Keep 'em still while Undyne chucks spears at them?"(Ben)

"Lets kick some ass!"(Undyne)

"wait, what'll you be doing kid"(sans)

"Not a kid- But I'll be shattering the barrier- Probably.. Actually, no.. I have some semblance of a new plan.. God I'm gonna have a tough time justifying this"(Ben)

"Wait you can shatter the barrier?"(Chara)

"Probably, but it'd be easier for a monster to absorb the souls.. Sans would you be able to absorb them?"(Ben)

The skeleton in question froze an image flashing through his mind

FLASHBACK

A laboratory covered in blood and dust with a younger Sans crying in a corner with a jar with a glowing green soul inside it floating in the air with blue magic emanating from the jar as Sans clutched his head tears pouring from his eye-lids as he glared at something in the center of the room pushing himself further into the corner

PRESENT TIME

"Sans.."(Ben)

"Sans..?"(Ben)

"SANS!"(Ben)

"huh? wha-what?"(sans)

"Can you absorb the souls-?"(Ben)

"nah.. doubt it."(sans)

"Right, well Undyne you need to be beating the shit out of a child so you're out of the question for absorbing them.."(Ben)

"Maybe.. I could help there?"(???)

"no."(Sans)

"Actually.. This may work. Flowey if I can get you near the souls will you agree to help us free the human from the players control?"(Ben)

"...Fine, only because it means I won't be dead"(Flowey)

"Right, good enough for me, you step out of line I'll set you on fire and play 'She loves me, she loves me not' got it?"(Ben)

"....Please don't"(Flowey)

"I can hunt you across the ends of the Earth and beyond you foolish flower. Believe me, I can hold a grudge that long."(Ben)

"geez kid, overkilling it eh?"(sans)

"I once didn't speak to my cousin for 2 months over a stick of gum, I can be a spiteful bastard, especially when lives are on the line and its hero time."(Ben)

"Wow, relatable, the spiteful part not lives being on the line. Anyways whats the plan?"(Chara)

"If I tell you the plan you'll start rooting against me."(Ben)

"That worries me."(Chara)

"Let's do this thing!"(Ben)

"Yeah!"(Undyne)

"eh sure"(sans)

"I'd rather not"(Chara)

"That's the spirit!"(Ben)

TIMESKIP

A stick slashed through the air instantly snapping in half when a bone shot through the ground as the word MISS appeared in the air

"geez kiddo, guess you did miss me."(sans)

A spear narrowly missed the humans head as they somehow ducked like in the Matrix. Sans let out a barely audible sigh. As much as he hates to admit it, they don't have a chance. DETERMINATION will be the downfall of him once again...

"alright thats it. undyne duck."(sans)

"Huh? Wh- OH HOLY SH-"(Undyne)

The skeleton had summoned as many blasters as he could and closed his hand the weapons firing all at once as sans struggled to take in air clutching his chest..

"jesus that one hurt.."(Sans)

"Wha- Oh shit wing dings."(Player)

A man clearing his throat was heard as a tall skeleton with a cracked skull appeared. He shrugged off his laboratory jacket as he cracked his knuckles- well all 8 of them

"Who the hell are you?"(Undyne)

"Doctor WingDings Gaster. Hello there captain. Is this language okay? I believe I'm still rather rusty at anything other than my namesake."(Gaster)

Recognition flashed in the scientists eyes as he grinned at the smaller skeleton

"It's a pleasure to meet you again, Royal Judge. You are welcome for that position by the way, it was my suggestion."(Gaster)

"don't fish for compliments, how the hell are you here?"(sans)

"I'm afraid that's a question I can't answer, son."(Gaster)

"...I'm sorry, did you just say son?!"(Undyne)

A weapon slashed through the scientist. Like literally through. He let out a laugh

"☟✌☟✌☟✌☟✌☟"(Gaster)

NO EFFECT

"You know, attacks typically only work on those who exist."(Gaster)

ELSEWHERE

"THIS FIGHT IS BULLSHIT!"(Player)

ELSEWHERE

Symbols floating around the air. The symbols mostly resembled hands

"flip em' off g!"(sans)

"..Sans don't be so.. crude. Have you no class?"(Gaster)

"none. but how are you here you amazingly crazy bastard?!"(sans)

"It's rude to talk of those who are listening."(Gaster)

Suddenly the 'human' froze right before they could attack

"I wasn't finished talking, I truly hate those who are rude, atleast wait for me to finish talking, perhaps this will make you listen?"(Gaster)

He waved an arm as hands appeared grabbing a button from seemingly nothing

FIGHT

"Ah, I doubt you'll be needing this. Sans will you take this away? I'd like to run some tes-"(Gaster)

The doctor froze mid sentence clutching his chest as he thrust out his hand, a tiny glimmer of white appearing

"Ah.. I suppose that's an issue."(Gaster)

"g?"(sans)

"Well you see.. My soul is still shattere-"(Gaster)

Blood shot out of his mouth before he cleared his throat

"Apologies, does anyone have a handkerchief? I'd rather not ruin my clothes with blood stains."(Gaster)

"..WHY DO YOU HAVE BLOOD?!"(Undyne)

"I cannot answer that, as humans might say 'I plead the 5th.' Either way I must leave, I suspect you'll forget, well possibly, when I had fallen my soul had been shattered through all time and space except where it would ever matter.. Perhaps the universe is trying to correct this.. For lack of a better word e- "(Gaster)
