Wild violet flowers stand among dark weeds and ivy crawls up the walls into the open windows. Footsteps on the gravel and steady breaths seem to be the only noise coming from the two unwelcome visitors, apart from the occasional hooting of a nearby owl. With light from Seokjin's phone, they make their way towards the, seemingly, empty allotment in the middle of miles of weeds and bush. Every so often Nabi pinches her fingers together to remind herself that this isn't a crazy dream and every minute Seokjin turns to Nabi to see if she's alright, but nothing is said between the two for the agonisingly walk. Seokjin halts and signals with his left hand to stop but Nabi walks into his back anyway.

"Ow," Nabi rubs her forehead, sending daggers to Seokjin. "That hurt."

"Liar," Seokjin shakes his head at her before looking back at the lonely building. "We're going to the top floor, how are you with heights?"

"I actually like being high up," Nabi looks up at the stars, "I feel like I'm closer to the sky."

"Now you sound like Namjoon," Seokjin begins to walk to a gap in the wall where the door would have been. "Keep up, I don't want to lose you in here."

"I'm not an obedient puppy," Nabi remarks, "also, who's Namjoon?"

"Someone you'll probably meet sooner than later," Seokjin gets out two torches from his coat and passes one to Nabi. "He's a good guy, I think you'll get along with him. Not too much though, you're still my wife."

"Fiancée," Nabi corrects, turning her torch on. "You had torches this entire time and you used your phone instead?"

"If anyone is in here they would have seen torches more quickly than light from a phone," he flicks her head. "I thought you were supposed to be clever?"

"Don't patronise me," Nabi smacks his hand away and frowns. "Can we just get this over and done with? It's three o'clock in the morning already and I'm tired."

Seokjin walks though the gap first, Nabi close behind, and quickly shines his light on everything on the room.

"It's safe-" Seokjin sighs watching Nabi sit on one of the chairs covered in dust. "You're supposed to wait for my signal."

"We're not the government's spies," she leans her head back, letting out a hoarse cough from all the dust. "I'm pretty sure if anyone was here they would have heard us already."

"You're going to jinx us and we're both going to die because of your assumptions," Seokjin rubs his forehead and sighs. "Just try and keep it down, please?"

A clattering sound comes from the floor above, Nabi falls off her chair and Seokjin takes cover under the table.

"Quietly and quickly," Seokjin put a finger to his lips. "Make your way to the door on our right, I'll be right behind you."

Slowly, she crawls to the door and waits for Seokjin who pushes her away from the door and opens it. Without a  noise, Seokjin opens the door and enters an abandoned corridor.

"I'll go first," Seokjin whispers, "remain close to me at all times, we'll be going up the stairs in darkness."

Nabi nods, thinking to herself that replying with a snarky comment is probably not the smartest idea in this situation, and looks away. He turns away from Nabi, stands up from his crouching position and  grabs onto the banister on the staircase.

"Change of plan," Seokjin holds out a hand to Nabi. "You're going to have to hold my hand, I can't have you falling and making noise."

"For a second there I thought you were being nice to me," Nabi rolls her eyes, hesitating at his hand. "Fine, this is the only time I'll ever hold your hand so appreciate it while it lasts."

Except for the occasional squeaky floorboard, they both managed to get to the top of the stairs in silence. At the top they both nod to each other to the room with light shining through the closed door.

"Nabi," Seokjin whispers, his eyes locked into hers, "until death do we part."

"Are you seriously quoting our vows right now?" Nabi shakes her head before throwing herself onto Seokjin.

Multiple gun shots hit the wall where they both stood only a few seconds before.

"Thanks," Seokjin grins before taking out his gun and firing one shot, a pained moan comes from the figure, now lying down on the floor at the door of the illuminated room, and looks at Nabi.

"Who is it?" Nabi pushes herself off Seokjin and helps him up. "And why did they shoot at us?"

"We're both about to find out," Seokjin walks to the person and turns them over. "Well, hello."

"I'm so sorry, sir," Nabi leans over to see it's a man with a black beard and circular glasses. "I thought it was an intruder, I didn't mean to shoot you."

"I accept your apology," Nabi steps back, scared from Seokjin's strange facial expression. "But you're wrong, I am the intruder."

"Seokjin looks like a wolf looking at his dying prey," Nabi thinks to herself. "How can he be so calm when someone he knows is dying in front of him?"

"Why?" The man begins to choke, blood dribbling from his mouth. "How could you do this to..your parents... Seokjin...."

"I'm not the bad guy here," Seokjin says as the man stops choking. "I'm not the bad guy; you here me?"

"I- I think he's dead, Seokjin." Nabi turns away from them both, her head in her hands. "You just killed someone, someone you knew."

"Yes, I did," Seokjin watched Nabi take deep breaths. "Someone I know that is not on our side, someone who is in our way-"

"Did that mean you had to kill him?" Nabi replies, "why did you bring me with you? I didn't even help."

"I don't want you to help," Seokjin wraps his arms around Nabi's waist and rests his chin on her shoulder. "I just want someone to be there for me, you saved me only a few minutes ago, remember? Why are you crying? The blood is only on my hands, I'm the moth and you're the butterfly."

A/N

I'm sorry for not updating this for a while, I just got my science exam marks back and I got less than half right.. I have a maths exam in a few days so I'll be studying for that so I'm not sure when the next update will be.
