TMCM-final

  (Jin)

I was trying to register the information one more time. It was highly unbelievable. Who would ever think of a contest like that?! I would have never agreed to this if I knew there will be such a complication. Life can treat you only both ways: it either gives you unicorns, roses and ecstasy or the best hell on earth ever. If it was not for the contest the BTS would never visit that country. Until the very last moment in the airplane I thought it must be a dream. Oh, no. Wait, a nightmare. That was nightmare. I have never been so unprepared like this before. Although it was not really a contest but it felt like. Since we landed at the airport it was already time-consuming 'cause the fangirls easily detected our presence. We really cannot have a peaceful starter even once, huh?

We got into travelling bus. It was booked by our manager. The rest was excited to visit another European foreign country but I was rather passive about the event. Like, what can be interesting in an unknown town?

When our 'wonderful journey' met its end, we arrived at the Ruben Hotel.

Even if it was 4-star hotel I was not in the best mood to show happiness as the rest of the team. I do not even wanna know how our staff afforded to book us so priceful travel. I think they should have think of other things than fund us 'exotic gifts' but whatever. They say one word and we do for their please.

It was before 9 a.m. so before falling asleep we decided to go on a little walk. I did not accept this crazy idea but I was left without a choice. From time to time we were passing by Vietnamese or Chinese girls or boys. Namjoon was like a neverendless dictionary or a map. He found out that they were students at the local University. How did he know it? Whatever, V, Kook, Suga, J-hope and ChimChim seemed to be impressed by his knowledge. The only positive fact was that the town was free from extremely obsessed fans or extra rude citizens who would point a finger on us wishing for us to come back home. Calling us Chinese.

Kookie was in his hypest mode and suggested to visit the University. We had to ask somebody for help because we completely did not know the street names. We passed by a "Chicken kebab" and we saw the building.

"Not the best look. Namjoon said it was on the first top 5 Universities in P...Poruando" made a comment unsatisfied Kookie. That anme that came out from his mouth sounded disgusting. Was it a really name of a town?!

"Do not judge the book by its cover" replied Namjoon. Why did he care so much? How comes he knew so much?

At least we were not interrupted by annoying fans screaming "Oppa, saranghae". It was totally different than the Capital City.

I was surprised random people were passing by that University. Should we try to go nearer as well?

"Maybe opening day, many people walk outside" suggested ChimChim and licked his lips seeing a tall, slim, girl who had dyed hair. Did she wear a cherry pink hair colour?!

"We should not get lost" said V and looked around.

"Let's look around and meet when we are done" stated Namjoon.

Everybody split. I stayed alone. Great just great, Jin! You are all on your own .

I was not really in the mood to prank somebody. And if he had problem on his own why would I, a total stranger, help him?

I do not really think the person he told me about was stalker. From my perspective the girl he told me about was rather a bookworm type. She was sitting on the stairs in front of glass-made library. You would not really tell she is into kpop. I had my own way detecting who is who and that was quite common sense for us kpop singers. I have never met a fan who would not have even a single thing related to kpop!

"Hi, my name is Jin. I'm from Korea" I introduced myself because why not. Another reason why she could not be really into kpop was no reaction. I mean, even our loyal fans show us the affection.

"I, ugh... Omg" I heard all of sudden. Wow, such a unique reaction. But... wait. Did she actually say "omg"? Does that mean...?

" You know BTS?" I asked because I was curious.

"I do listen BTS from time to time but I'm not in their fandom" she replied.

I nodded my head and waited for continuation but there was an end. And that is all? Okay that is... actually acceptable although I expected something else. Let's be honest here but that is the first time I met such a kpoper. Or not?

I was patiently waiting and then that happened.

"Gosh, I terribly apologize for what you will hear now but you look -alike Kim Seokjin from BTS"

I did not really know what to think about it. On the one side it was creepy but on the other hand... something about that person was unique but I lacked words.

" uh, you know where there is a good coffee? Nearby?" I asked because I wanted to drink some. I have not drink it since morning and maybe my brain needed caffeine stimulation again.

"Just across the street. Cross the white stripes take left from the street and go straight, then take the right"

I was not sure if I understood so I tapped her arm.

"Uh, yes?" she asked.

"The way... show me?" I asked.

"It's pretty easy way" she answered.

"Coffee, let's go together" I explained because maybe I was not easy to understand. To prove what I meant I took her hand and helped her get up .

"Got it, mister" she said automatically, and started to gather her hand bag and notebooks from the ground. 'Mister'? Do I look that old?

"Jin, not mister" I said and puckered my lips making sad aegyo. Why do I have to try so hard? I thought that the conversations in LA or NYC were a hardcore but here is like an extremely big-big trouble.

We had to wait when the cars stop and suddenly, in the middle of the street she kneeled down then got up. Aaah! I did not even felt when my phone decided to fall away~

The coffee place she took me in was named All' Angolo. All was written in the language I was not able to understand so I had to ask for advice.

"I owe you" I said to her when she paid for my order. I would want to try everything but I could make a stranger pay for my desserts. As I sipped on my bubble tea with mandarins and strawberry made on green tea I wanted to have some chat but all I could hear were monosyllabic sentences. I was slightly taken aback.

After nice time spent at All'Angolo I decided to take her on a walk as my guide. I guessed it was the type that did not like to take advance. I forgot what that boy wanted me to do. Asking stranger for money is okay but asking to make a fun is so low. It is not how we do the business in Korea so it was very rude of him. That girl was terribly mute but because of nice treatment I received I wanted to show her she does not need to act so distant. I wanted to show my mates who I found but all of sudden she split our hands away.

"Uh... sorry, I am not really getting it" she said and I blinked. What did she mean? Did I possibly do something wrong?

"Ahh, you do not hold hands here" I said because I suddenly knew what was wrong.

"That too "

"Something else then?" I asked surprised and worried that I might've hurt her.

"From all people around.. why did you have to choose the most boring one?"

Boring? I did not think that...

"Well, it is okay to be happy, young lady. You are 35 or something?" I asked to make sure. Maybe that was an older girl.

" Not that old just '94 liner" she explained.

What... only '94 liner?!

"And...you do not want a signature or something?" I asked being more than shocked that a person can be so lifeless in their middle twenties.

"What...?"

I smiled and waved.

"Hello, I told you my name's Jin" I reminded because I believed that she was somehow under a spell and could not believe that she has a real Kim Seokjin in front of her.

"Like... the one from ...uh, Jin from BTS?"

I swear that was the best shocking expression ever but I kind of liked it.

"Hard to believe, right?"

"How was the meeting with the most annoying person" I was not sure if it was said to me but I did not like it. I could've figured out how to make the meeting less stressful but a sudden coming out of that girl's hater or somebody like that totally ruined my thoughts. I could not understand how he could be so rude about her.

"Yes, she does not speak much but to call her annoying?"

"People like her are the worse" I half agreed with that boy but it's not that she was the worst. I wanted to continue the walk around, observing the nice view and learning new stuff. I liked the efforts she showed to communicate in a very neutral and formal way but I noticed her walking away. Shit, did she actually think it was meant to her?
