'Am I making the right choice?', Song asks herself internally as she sips at the vanilla milkshake infront of her, absent mindedly.

She is currently finding herself at the cafè she is supposed to meet Jungkook at. Wondering if she is making a huge mistake, deciding if she is ready to face him or not.

Doubt starts to creep into her mind, she bites her bottom lip in thought, deciding that she isn't ready for this conversation to happen just yet.

She takes some money, putting it next to the half-drunk milkshake, getting ready to get up and leave when she hears the doorbell ringing, and Jungkook entering the shop, dressed in a oversized black hoodie, and black ripped jeans.

Her breath catches in her chest when she sees him more closely.

He's changed.

He's lost a lot of weight. The hoodie makes him look so...small.
The dark circles under his eyes showing her that he hasn't been getting a lot of sleep. His face pale and his cheeks a little sunken in.

Her heart aches seeing him like this and she wants to do nothing more than run to him, and ask him what he's been doing with his health.

"Hey." He says, his voice cracking and weaker than she remembers it.
Her heart jumps when she sees his brown eyes looking at her in anticipation.

"Hi.", Is all she can say, her brain freezing. She motions for him to sit down and he pulls out his chair, waiting for her to sit before sitting himself.

"It's been a while, how are you?", He asks, his throat clearly dry and hoarse. She motions over a barista and asks for a glass of cold water, the barista nodding and rushing to the back to fill her order.

They stay silent untill the barista returns with the water, Jungkook thanking her and taking a sip.

"I've been as well as I can be. Which I guess isn't that good at all. You look tired.", She says, looking at the man she once loved...still loves, looking at her with a guilty expression.

"I haven't been sleeping well without you there next to me...", He says, not looking at her but at his fingers.

*start playing the song*

"That's not fair, Jungkook. I didn't have a choice after what happened. I just couldn't be near you...", Song says, looking at a biker outside the shop getting off his bicycle.

"It wasn't supposed to turn out like this...we were supposed to live happily ever after.", She says, giving a sarcastic chuckle.

"I never wanted things to end up like this either, Song. You have to believe me.", Jungkook says, Song looking at him blankly.

"As much as I want to...you're making it so hard, Jungkook.", Song says, feeling her heart ache.

"Why did you even ask me here if you're not going to hear what I have to say?", Jungkook asks, his heart breaking.

"Because I'm the one who needs to talk, not you.", Song says, looking him dead in the eye.

"I've been thinking...long and hard.
You hurt me very deeply, and for that...I can't forgive you. As hard as I try and as much as I still love you...I can't risk it. I'm sorry...", Song says, tears in her eyes.

This hurts.
More than anything she's had to do her whole life.
She's letting go of the one she loves...

"Song...no, please. We can talk this out. I still love you!", Jungkook protests, praying she is willing to listen to reason.

"No, Jungkook. You had your chance and you made a mess of it. There is just no way I can trust you again. What if I decide to trust you again this time and something like this happens again? What then? Should I just forgive and move on? I'm sorry but I refuse to go that way...", She says, getting up from her seat.

"Please...it will never happen again, I swear! Just don't leave me again...", He pleads, Song's heart cracking all the more seeing him like this.

"How can you possibly know that?!", She asks, anger and heartache flowing through her body.

"I...I don't know but I'll never stop trying!", Jungkook says, trying everything he can think of to try and get her to stay and talk.

"I gave you my heart and you broke it into pieces, Jungkook. You can't expect of me to let it go that easily...I'm sorry. I need you to stay away from me. I'll take care of the kids on my own. You're free to do as you please...you're free.", Song says, quickly wiping away a few stray tears.

"Song...no, please. You can't expect of me to let my kids go as easily, do you? I want to be in their lives!", Jungkook protests, Song looking at him with saddend eyes.

"Fortunately, that's not up to you...", Song says, quickly walking away, before Jungkook can stop her.

She runs over to her car, quickly getting in and locking the doors.

She starts to sob uncontrollably, her tears continuing to flow out of her.
She did it. She cut him loose. Forever.

Now he can move on without the stresses and worries of having the responsibility of a family.

But...did she go to far? Keeping him from seeing her and the twins?
She rests her head against the steering wheel of her car, crying.

Did she make a mistake?

*stop playing*

Bam Bam is currently checking his looks in the reflection of his phone screen for the sixth time already.

He checks his watch and feels his nerves starting to set in. Is she even coming?
She had said that she is coming, she's probably just running a little late.

Just then, a huffing San makes her way to the booth where Bam Bam is currently waiting for her arrival.

"Hey! Sorry I'm late, I forgot to put gas in my car so I had to stop.", San apologises, moving to give Bam Bam a hug.

"It's alright, I just got here myself.", He lies, while hugging San.

"So, how are things? We haven't hung out like this in months! You're always so busy.", San says, ordering a coffee once the barista comes to take her order.

"Yeah, sorry 'bout that, things have just been a little busy at work.", Bam Bam apologises.

"Eh, it's alright, so, what did you wanna talk about?", San asks, thanking the barista once she recieves her coffee.

"Huh?" Bam Bam asks, confused.
San raises her brow.
"The reason for this little get together? I figured you wanted to talk about Songie.", San says, a light going on above Bam Bam's head.

"Ohhh, yeah, no I just wanted to see you and catch up. As for Song, she's a grown up, I don't think we should meddle in her relationships.", Bam Bam says, making San nod.

"Yeah, I just feel so bad for her, you know. I really thought she found the perfect guy. Guess you never really know.", San says, sipping on her coffee.

"Speaking of, you finally get a girl to introduce us to?", San asks, making Bam Bam choke on his own spit.

"Me? Nah, guess I'm just not cut out for relationships, but if the right girl rolls around, you never know...", He says, staring at her smiling face.

"Aww, Bammie, you'll find that perfect girl someday, I know it!", She says, putting her hand on his in a comforting motion, making him blush.

"Y-yeah, so what have you been up to lately? Any new projects?", Bam Bam asks the girl infront of him, her hand leaving his, the male whining internally.

"Nah, not really, I've just been dabbling in a few photography courses, you know while I wait for my exam results. It's been fun. But my results should be arriving any day now, so then it's back to my medical calling!", San says with a chuckle.

"And with you? I assume the company is still going strong as I seem to see you less and less as time goes on.", San says, chuckling at the embarrassed male.

"Yeah, but I'm not complaining. If we continue like this, I may have the chance at early retirement, just like dad. We'll see though.", Bam Bam says.

"Early retirement? Didn't take you for an old guy already! What do you plan on doing with yourself when you don't run the company anymore! You're not exactly the most relaxed type.", San asks, making Bam Bam blush.

"Well, if I do end up meeting someone in the time, I plan on spending most of my time with them, maybe raise a few kiddos, Song can't be the only one having kids.", He says with a chuckle, San smiling at him.

"Well, then I hope you to find that special someone soon, that you can take a break!", San says, laughing.

'I do too...', Bam Bam thinks to himself as he looks at San's bright and cheery face.

So beautiful...

Just then, San's phone rings, San looking at the caller ID, seeing that it's Yoongi calling.

"Sorry, about that.", She says as she declines the call.
"You could've taken it you know.", Bam Bam says with raised brow and a smile.

Then her phine rings again. Yoongi.

"Sorry, let me just take this, it may be important.", San says, accepting the call.

"Hey, what's up?", San asks as she hears Yoongi's voice on the other side.

"Do you know where Jungkook is?", She hears his voice ask worriedly. So, she quickly motions to Bam Bam that she needs to take the call somewhere else, the male only nodding before San gets up to go to the bathroom, locking the door behind her.

"No, I'm sorry I don't, he's probably just with Song, she told me that she's supposed to meet up with him today.", San says, hearing Yoongi sigh, clearly upset.

"Jin hyung just called me in a panic, apparently the meeting didn't go as planned. Jungkook texted him saying his life is over and that he has nothing to live for anymore. Jin's worried that he might hurt himself.", Yoongi says, clearly distressed.

"I'm really sorry but I haven't heard anything from Song, I'll try to get a hold of her, maybe she knows where he is.", San says, Yoongi thanking her.

"I'll call you if I find something. I love you, bye.", San says, Yoongi, telling her he loves her before hanging up.

She unlocks the door and heads back to the table.
"Everything alright? That sounded serious.", Bam Bam asks, San nodding before quickly searching up Song's number.

"Yeah, my boyfriend just called me. Apparently the meeting between Song and Jungkook didn't go so well. Jungkook's kind of M.I.A. I just need to ask Song if she knows where he might be.", San says, not noticing how Bam Bam's face falls once she tells him about Yoongi. 

San quickly dials up Song's number, waiting as is rings, completely unaware of the feeling of the male sitting right infront of her.

The winds blows strongly at the top of the lover's bridge where he and Song used to come.

Before he messed everything up.

He takes in a deep breath, deciding that the decision he's about to make really is best for everyone.

He starts to climb over the railing, sitting on top of it, as he watches his feet dangle over the edge.

In these moments, he apologises to Song internally again. To his kids for not going to be able to be in their lives, and to his friends, who have become his family over the years, that he's going to do this.

He slowly gets up, the only thing keeping his from falling being the small ledge at the other side of the railing.

He takes in a deep breath, feeling himself falling forward.

"Jungkook, wait!", He hears a familiar voice, before being pulled backwards, his back hitting the railing painfully.

Why did they have to stop him?
