The next morning, Aizawa was informed that the class would accompany Ranpo to a murder scene. 

"Are you sure that's safe?" Aizawa asked, wondering if taking 20 students to a crime scene was a good idea. 

"Of course, Ranpo is the best detective we have," Kunikida reassured the teacher, the best he could. 

Without any of the heroes knowing, the next game has began.

Ranpo was waiting for the class and the hero teachers at the scene, with a rather tall man that had a raccoon sitting on his shoulder. 

When the class caught sight of them, they were smiling at each other and the raccoon was moving between the two, as if confused about where it was going to rest. 

It eventually ended up on Ranpo's head, with the other man fawning over how cute the sight was. 

"Aww, my love, Karl loves you," The man gushed as his face tinged with bright red. 

"You are adorable," Ranpo whispered softly as he looked up at the man and smiled slightly, "And so is Karl, of course. And you know it's true when the greatest detective in the world says it!" 

The taller man's face became a deep red as he swayed slightly. 

"Don't say such things in public!" The man was embarrassed as he gently shook the small man. 

Ranpo just chuckled and continued to smile. 

"Ah, there's class 1-a," Ranpo said, pointing to the group of students. 

As the class got closer to the couple, they watched as the raccoon looked over to the tall man and immediately jumped back to him. 

"This is Poe, he's going to come with us today," Was the only introduction they got from Ranpo as they walked down the alley, where they soon saw a couple of cops surrounding a body. 

"Ah, Ranpo," A police detective greeted them as he walked over, "We have no clue what happened or how the body got here, but we know the victim's identity and the body was dumped here." 

Ranpo nodded and Poe walked further to the body, observing it, before sighing. 

"Poe, darling, we're going to let them try and solve the case!" Ranpo happily announced as he walked over to the body with Poe. 

"Huh?" Poe sounded confused as he looked down at the small detective, "But you were requested because of who the victim is." 

"But it's so easy to find out who killed him," Ranpo whined slightly, before looking back to the class, who looked shocked, "Besides they're here to learn how we do our jobs!"

Poe seemed to understand as Ranpo smiled up at him. 

"Of course, the game," Poe whispered, no one but Ranpo heard him. 

All Ranpo did was nod. 

"I love these kinds of games," Ranpo then started snacking as he smiled. 

As the students came closer, they were questioning the agency's detective on why they had to try and solve the case. 

"We know nothing about this person!" Iida said as he looked confused. 

"His name is Kiyoshi Ito," Ranpo said, as he continued to snack, "He is a former Port Mafia member." 

"So obviously, someone from that villainous organization did this!" Uraraka stated as she clapped, as if she solved the case. 

Poe shook his head, and looked down to Ranpo, who had an unreadable face. 

"We'll give you 30 minutes to try and figure out how he died and who did it," Ranpo said as he wrapped his hand around Poe's and pulled him out of the alleyway. 

"Wait, Ranpo! I requested you, not these children!" The police detective yelled after the young man, before sighing when the men walking out of the alley didn't even stop to acknowledge him. 

The man looked angry as he scanned over the children. 

"Do you know any information on this man?" Todoroki approached the man and stared at him. 

"All I know is that he saved a bunch of children during the Guild's attack a couple years ago," That was the only information that the man gave them as he looked down at Kiyoshi's body, leaving out vital details. 

"Why is he a former Port Mafia member? Did they kick him out or did he leave?" Sero asked, curious as to how the man left the Mafia. He thought once you entered an organization like that, you don't leave or weren't allowed to. 

"No one knows. We just know that he was removed from the active members list after the Guild's attack," When the name said that, it made the class curious and just have more questions. 

"Stop asking all these dumbass questions, it's obvious who did this," Bakugou growled, his voice echoing in the alley, "It was those villains that no one will do anything about. Now we can!" 

The police detective looked to be conflicted when the blonde said this, and the students caught his expression. 

"I don't think that's the case," When the detective said this, it made the class look confused. 

"Why not? It would make sense. He used to be one of them and he left, he would be considered a risk to them because he knows everything about them, so they killed him to keep him quiet," Mina's voice was determined as she explained her reasoning, with the rest of the students agreeing with her. 

Midoriya was the only one who was truly conflicted. Since he arrived in Yokohama he has questioned many things, especially after hearing Oda and Kunikida talking about how the city is run by what seems to be called "the Triparty". 

"Is it possible the Triparty did this?" His question was innocent but it made the detective glare at him. 

"No, the Triparty only gets involved with massive incidents," The detective's voice was on edge and he obviously didn't want to talk to them. 

"Maybe it was just an enemy he made when he was with the Port Mafia," Kaminari wondered out loud.

The students were arguing by the time Ranpo and Poe got back to the crime scene. 

"Did you all figure it out?" Ranpo asked, a lollipop in his mouth, as Poe and Karl followed behind him. 

"It was the Port Mafia!" 

"No it was the Triparty!"

"It was an enemy he made while he was in the Mafia!" 

At all the different answers, Ranpo chuckled and Poe was petting Karl. 

"It was his lover," Ranpo revealed as he walked over, "A cheating lover who used her other lover to commit the crime." 

"What?" The students were confused and so was the police detective. 

"He was stabbed a total of 43 times by his roommate who Kiyoshi's lover was having an affair with," Ranpo revealed as he observed the body once more.

"We spoke to the lover and roommate just moments ago, they claimed that they didn't know what happened,"  A police officer said, as he walked over. 

"Go and arrest them," The police detective commanded.

In the end, Hanako Watanabe and Jiro Suzuki were arrested and almost immediately admitted their crime after being faced with Ranpo. 

The students were still reeling from the  fact that it wasn't the Port Mafia or anything Port Mafia related. 

"I still think that the fucking Port Mafia did it," Bakugou growled, and it caused nearby Poe to slightly move away from them. 

"But they really did not have anything to do with it, Ranpo's ability has never been wrong," Poe's voice was quiet as he said that, but it still caused Bakugou to snap his head up at him. 

"Quirks backfire all the time, abilities are probably even more likely to backfire, they're probably weak and useless. Now those villains are getting away with this murder because your little boyfriend's ability is shit," Bakugou's words were harsh and it made Poe angry. 

"Ranpo has never been wrong, his ability never backfires. And if anything, quirks are beyond weaker than abilities. Abilities don't backfire, they don't have weaknesses, while your precious quirks do," Poe said, his voice was more confident this time and he was practically growling as he talked.  

When Ranpo walked out of the interrogation room, he never thought he would see Poe angry, but there he was, opening glaring at the blonde spiky haired boy. 

"What happened?" His voice was soft and quiet as he spoke to his love. 

"That boy said your ability backfired, so I educated him on abilities, on how quirks are weaker than abilities, how abilities don't backfire or have weaknesses," Poe said as he continued to glare at the blonde boy. 

Ranpo just clicked his tongue, before pulling Poe away from the group.

Class 1-A didn't notice they were left behind until Tokoyami said something. 

"Ranpo and Poe are gone," His voice was low and kinda quiet, but everyone heard him. 

"What?!" Bakugou yelled as he looked around and caught the attention of everyone in the police station. 

"Ah, Ranpo and Poe left, they said they were continuing their date that we interrupted earlier," A police officer informed them as they saw them looking around. 

The class was absolutely floored. 

They just left them? 

How would they find their way back to the agency?
