My eyes widened and I yanked my hand back quickly, heart racing.
"Again" he whispered.
"Wha-"
"Do that again"
Slowly, I pulled my hand up again and traced my finger up from his chest and up to his neck, where I brushed my thumb over a small tattoo of a rose, making him almost moan.
I blushed deeply, and tried to hide my face under my hair, but he lifted up my chin with his fingers.
"Beautiful" he whispered to himself.
DONG DONG DONG
Crap. I looked over to the massive clock face, and cringed when I saw the time. 4:30.
I was half an hour late.
Father was going to kill me.
And I'm not so sure that's an exaggeration.
"I need to go" I whispered urgently
"No"
"What? But I have to"
"You're mine, I finally found you and I'm not letting you go"
"Please, I have to!, I'll get in trouble if I'm any later!"
"Where do you need to be?"
"Somewhere important"
He sighed, burying his face into my hair once more, his massive frame swamping mine.
"Alpha we need to go" the voice said once more.
'Alpha' growled loudly, and spun around to face him, and began yelling at the top of his lungs.
In doing so, he had let go of me, and I instantly felt colder, the odd tingling sensation beginning to fade away.
When I realised that I could leave, I ran.
I ran as fast as I could away from the town, down the cobblestone road onto the dirt track and down the hill to where I lived, not stopping once.
