Ena's P.O.V.

I woke up to the sound of the old maniac ringing his bell. I'm guessing my mother is either still asleep or is out shopping. I head out of my room sleepily and see what he needs.

"What... is it... Great-Grandfather?" I asked him, rubbing my eyes to get me awake.

"Where's Rei?" he asked, mentioning my mother.

"She's probably out..."

"Out of what?

"No. Out as in shopping or something."

"I see... very well then... could you feed Phobos and Deimos for me?"

"Sure!" I was about to run inside and get their crow food, but...

"No running in the shrine!" he yelled at me.

"Sorry..."

After I fed Phobos and Deimos, our two crows, I heard footsteps. I already know who it is.

"Hey, Ena," one of my best friends, Dara Mizuno began.

"What brings you here, Dara?" I asked, finishing up my business with the crows.

"I came here to do a bit of studying, since we've missed out on school yesterday."

"Oh yeah! You can definitely do that." I headed inside and showed her to her room for studying. My friends and are all going to study together, since we missed yesterday's school. It was canceled. Bree came a couple minutes later. I went into my chamber for a bit of studying of my own. Truth is, I can see things in the fire. I was trying to pick up a vision... something about these attacks on people by monsters... until...

There was loud cawing outside. I ran out to see what was wrong with Phobos and Deimos. I saw them pecking at...

"Ai?" She turned and looked at me.

"Ena!" I showed away the crows.

"Why were they attacking you?"

"I might've been eating a sandwich on the way here..."

"Didn't I warn you that there were crows here?!?!"

"Yeah... but I thought you fed them!"

"Apparently, they were still hungry!" I sighed. "Sorry.... I lost my temper there... let me start again... Hi. This is my home, Hikawa Shrine. Please, make yourself at home." I led her inside, where the others waited. After we studied for a little bit, I felt a strange feeling.

"I'll be right back," I told them. I ran to the fire and- sorry if this sounds weird- asked it about this feeling. It showed me the enemy, and another monster. I told the others to go home and that I saw in the fire that there was a monster nearby. They packed up and left. I told Phobos and Deimos to guard the shrine. Then, I did my part.

"Mars Fire Power, Make Up!" I yelled, transforming into my alternate self, Sailor Mars! I ran to the battle just before the monster.

"You have good intuition," it told me.

"I shall chastise you with my flames!" I said. "Mars... Flame... Soul!"

I launched my attack and purified it in fire. Screams of Dark Spirits were vanquished as they burned in the flames.

I am the Pretty Guardian, protected by the planet of fire, who fights for the flames and for passion...
