"You'll be okay with Historia taking Armin out for an hour?" Levi asked, showing more surprised than he normally would but that was due to the women before him seeming so understanding and accepting over Historia favour. 

"I know how shy Armin is. I hate to even think over making him uncomfortable but he starts school next week. It might help him become more settled around strangers if we start introducing him to new people. You trust Historia so I'll trust Armin's safety into her hands. It might do Armin some good hanging out with an unknown adult but someone we at least know. It might get him to open up and not shy up as much at school" Mikasa calmly explained her own reasoning for agreeing with Historia spending an hour a day with Armin and seeing how it could help both Alpha and pup in different ways. She trusts Levi judgment and knows if he trusts the lady, than so could she and knew Armin would be kept safe. 

"I'll write to her if you're sure" Levi replied with a slow nod, not wanting to push the matter too much as he knew this was a big step for the omega as much as it would be for the pup. The women before him was finally allowing others to be near her pup, to let her pup be accepted by the real world instead of protecting him from it all. He couldn't question her over this decision. 

"I am but I also want to ask Armin too. He should be heard and given the chance to decide as well. He needs to know he will be heard if he speaks up not ignored" Mikasa spoke up with a small but worried frown, glancing to the side as she wants to speak with her pup and make sure he'd be comfortable to give this a try. She won't force her pup to be uncomfortable or take away his free will. 

"Let me speak with him. If it backfires then he'd stay away from me instead of assuming you're trying to get rid of him" Levi offered up kindly, knowing the women before him wouldn't take her pup ignoring her if the pup assumes wrongly over him gaining a new babysitter for an hour. 

"Thank you" Mikasa barely says above a whisper, a sweet smile on her lips as she sloughs in the chair more. 

"I just don't want you scaring people with your bad mood if he gets upset with you" Levi sighed as he rolled his eyes, remembering how many employers she had scared half to death during her last bad mood over her pup being upset with her. 

Mikasa merely smirked over the thought before the two stayed in a content silence. Levi doing his work at the desk while Mikasa relaxed in one of the guest chairs. She'd be leaving within the hour as Jean arrives outside the company to drop of Armin after the pups playdate with how own pup, Marco. Jean had taken the pair to a park, letting them have the chance to play with other child around. He had promised to drop Armin off at the Ackerman's tea company on his way to take his own pup home. 

The content silence broken as a kick to the door was heard and Mikasa got up to open the door for Moblit, the poor sectary having his arms full of paperwork yet again. He gave a gratitude nod towards the women before stumbling over to the paper basket for new paperwork needing to be seen by the owner of the company. 

"Lady Ackerman, hope all is well?" Moblit asked with a friendly smile once he had placed all the paperwork down, always on good terms with the Omega. 

The two weren't overly close friend's but acted more like decent cousins. Moblit had struggled finding work after marrying his Alpha wife who had opened up a clinic that the poor could easily afford and give them as good as health care the rich gained. It made the upper-class turn their noses down at the couple and meant no one wanted to risk hiring Moblit due to no one wanting to do business with those that might accept such a scandal. Hanji had even used all her own family money towards the clinic and gave up her old titles without a second thought. 

Once news over a mere nobody beta even impregnated a one high class Alpha. Work grew harder to find for Moblit. Until Mikasa had heard rumours and found the beta before bringing him to Levi's office. Levi gave the man two days to test his skill level before hiring him for good without a second thought. The company's earnings didn't take a hit and no one dared to speak against an Ackerman's actions. 

"As well as one can be. How do you do?" Mikasa greeted back as she sat herself down on the sofa left in the office for her and her pup to laze on.

"Been better. Abel's caught a bug from one of my wife's patients. I've mentioned that he shouldn't be around so many sickly. But she encourages his immune system to grow while he's young than to risk anymore harm as he grows older" Moblit frowned, looking twice his age of a man in his early thirties. His shoulders seemed to be weighed down by his wife's actions yet again.

"Will Abel be okay?" Mikasa asked with concern, knowing the boy is often growing ill from whatever bug patients have came in with at the clinic. No one ever keeps the three year old pup away, leaving Moblit always finding his pup growing sick by whatever he's caught from the clinic this time. 

"Thankfully yes. I love my wife, I wouldn't put up with her all these years or marry her if I did not. And I admire her clinic and how she makes it affordable for all of all standings in life. It's very rare she's rejected to help those who arrive at the clinic. But I do pray she learns to care for our son's well being better. I have warned her since the days she learnt she was carrying him within her womb to take better care for his shake. Reminder her he is a mere pup not an grown man. I fear I will never learn to forgive her even as I love her if our pup catches something from a patient he never wakes from" Moblit huffed out as he ran a hand through his short and uneven cut hair, something his wife demands to do and him being the only brave enough to let such a women cut his hair. His eyes filled with fear and sorrow as he knew one day their pup might fall asleep unwell and never wake again due to being so young or catching something that can't be cured. 

"A very understandable concern. If someone had passed something deathly to my pup I would fire them on the spot and never dare to see them in my line of vision again. Wouldn't even wish to smell their scent in any breeze. I would be unforgiving and cruel towards them, even if it learns to be an accident" Levi admits without any shame or hesitation over the anger and unforgiving state he's grow to have if anyone brought death upon his pup. Not seeing the shy but warm smile Mikasa sends him over how protective and caring he's grow over Armin.

"Does Hanji still refuse to allow you to bring Abel to the care room here? You do work less hours and would be able to bond with your son between breaks at work. The care room is by the entrance after all, may workers have placed their pups there to be cared by the hired babysitters. Many pups have stayed in the care room until they're old enough to start schooling. I'm sure many will speak over good things about the care room if Hanji needs to hear others views on it first" Mikasa asks and says as she places her attention back towards Moblit once more. Wondering if the man's wife would be willing to let Abel come to work with him instead and stay in the care room like a handful of other pups are taken to by their parents who work here and have no other who could sit them. The care room was free and parents were encouraged to check in at any and all times of the day. All pups are left to play, taught and well taken care. Even Armin's been left in their care once or twice when he's came to work with both she and Levi only to have the pair trapped in meetings. 

"I've spoken over bringing our pup to work with me but she still refuses to even think over the idea of him being placed in the care room. She sees it as a prison. Assumes he'll learn how real life is by caring for him in her clinic between patients. Knows he'll grow to meet many new people and different type of people as well. I know her co-workers are on the fence over this never ending argument. Some agree that pups who are unharmed and are healthy shouldn't be at the clinic. More so when some days he's left wondering the small clinic and being shooed out of the examination rooms by both staff and patients. Both others have grown use to Abel being at the clinic since his birth that they see no harm to it anymore, known the pup has grown use to the busy clinics ways" Moblit grumbles back as he crosses his arms in anger over his stomach, glaring down at the floor as he's tried speaking to his wife but she wouldn't dare allow him to speak. She may not be like most Alpha's but she still holds her "my way or no way" attitude that she was raised with. Assume she knows what's best because she's at the top of the food chain. It hurts to know their pup is always placed at risk and his wife brushes off such concerns.

"Why don't I speak with four eyes. I do help fund the clinic. I hold a right to be heard by her over any matters that concern the clinic. A pup's death caused by merely being left unsupervised is a means of concern to the clinic. She may not agree with my topic but she has to hear me out at least" Levi offers up as he looks towards his hard working sectary, knowing the man deserves to know his pup is safe and not neglected so much.  He won't forgive any who has their hands in in his money and allows a pups safety and health be put in danger. 

"I don't wish to trouble you-" Moblit started to nervously aruge back before being cut off. 

"My concern comes for the pup, not you nor your wife. I refuse to allow a pup be left exposed to so many risks from the clinic. If a pup was injured or sick, I can understand them being there. If a pup belonged to another patient who'd be sent home after treated, I can understand them being there as well. I will not accept a healthy pup being left in a place of sickness and injury for merely the parent refusing to allow someone else to babysit while they work. We both know Hanji loves to dive head first into the worse patients and will be busy for hours on end. That means your pup is left unattended and neglective. I'd rather him stay with a parent who can care for him and check on him more often during a shift" Levi speaks up with an unreadable expression, having been making note over how often poor Abel grows sickly or the few times Moblit has returned from his breaks with his pup in arms because he's found him trapped alone somewhere in the clinic or wondering around without having been checked on for a few hours already.

"Thank you, sir. I apologize for bringing my marriage disagreements to work. I know it should not be done" Moblit thanked his boss back, looking relieved and more grateful than ever in his life. 

"You hold no reason to apologize. We've all met Hanji and her hyper personality. She sees the world in a way that most of us can't even understand. She sometimes forgets the danger of the world while lost in her own head. It's best someone who doesn't live under the same roof as her tries to speak to her. She may listen more to an outsider of her pack, knowing that it's important and it is dangerous. I pray that she listens to Levi's concerns and do what's best for her pup. The dead don't come back to life, no matter how much of a good doctor your wife stands to be" Mikasa speaks up she looks to Moblit kindly and knowing the man has done no wrong. He is just a father fearing for his son's life while his wife purposely places their son's life at risk. If Mikasa was in Moblit's shoes she would have attacked her partner the second time her pup had grown sick from her partners work. All knew Hanji was the best doctor around but even she wouldn't be able to save someone from death.

"I thank you both, once more. I pray that my wife listens to you, sir" Moblit smiles kindly, giving the pair a respectful look before hurrying out of the office to return to his own work needing to be done. His steps lighter at knowing that someone would help him speak to his crazed wife over the safety of their pup. 

Levi sighs before moving to stand and knowing he'd be speaking with Hanji now while he's still fuelled by his own emotions on this matter. He's overlooked it until now due to not being a parent to the pup and knowing first time parents struggle at first. But the pup is now three and still grows as sickly as ever and is still left alone to entertain himself for hours on ends. 

He's witness Moblit bringing his son into work after a break at least half the days of the week. To sneak into the company at night to complete his work load that he hasn't been able to do due to staying home with his unwell pup. 

Hanji mindset of her work coming first and how humans are built stranger than most assume had reached its limit. They were both raised in the same way and he's never once placed Armin's health or safety in such dangers like she does daily for her own pup. Moblit might not be able to speak to his wife but Levi will and he'll make sure she hears him clearly. 

If he can save poor Abel life from the mothers foolishly mistakes than he will. Hanji's had three years to realize the risk she's placed her pup in and still choice to carry on making the same mistakes. Moblit's the one left working overtime or missing meals and sleep to care for their sickly pup due to her choosing to carry on with her work in the clinic than stay home and mother her own child. Either she allows Moblit to care for their pup full time without fuss over dragging him to the clinic as soon as he's well to stand again, or she'd lose a lot of funding for her clinic that they both know won't stay open for long afterwards. 

Levi hates to put strangers lives at risk, more so after living as poor with his mother and knowing their suffering. But he won't allow an Alpha to still act so cruelly to their own pup without noticing it any longer. 

"Don't physically attack her. Armin is sensitive to the smell of blood" Mikasa merely says as she stands up to walk over to his desk and start on his paperwork for him. 

"Unlike four-eyes, I won't bring discomfort to our pup" Levi states as he grabs his jacket and leaves.
