Levi wasn't pleased with the information Furlan had gathered on the Yeager family. His friend had found out a lot of information, as well as a few dirty secrets linked to the family. They were as powerful and dangerous as Jean had hinted towards.

Going to war with the family would be a pure death sentence.

It meant Levi would have to step carefully if the Yeager's took any interest into the Ackerman name at all. Levi wouldn't merely roll over and show his belly to anyone but he'd know to at least to move with great care while he sat sitting with his belly out of reach to those who might try playing owner towards him.

He won't bite the hand reaching out to his tummy but he'd give a warning growl that they'd understand.

He knew that it wasn't IF but WHEN the Yeager family came sniffing around his name, his home and his pack.

They've done so for everyone else since Zeke took over as head of the Yeager's and it was due time for them to try the Ackerman's. More so if Zeke has sent his brother to "befriend" the Kirstein family even while knowing the bratty brother never got along with Jean. It was a powerful move, pushing Jean into his place before the Yeager family and using Eren to do so what a very low move for both households.

Levi knew Jean had laid and showed his belly to the Yeager's for Marco's sake alone. That if he stood without a pup, he'd at least put up a fight and put his foot down against Eren's behaviour.

It why's Levi will be giving warning snarls, he won't allow Mikasa nor their pup to be used against him or treated like puppets. They were his god damn pack and he would gain respect for them as well as himself.

It's why Levi decided to not worry over the Yeager family a single second longer than needed. They'll come sniffing when they feel like it and he'd be right here to spray them with water if they even dare to pee on his turf.

He'll focus on the more important things in his life.

His pack.

A good cup of tea.

And work.

"Alpha only?" Mikasa repeated with an raised eyebrow from where she sat on the sofa within Levi's home office, looking right at her son who's just passed on his plans for the day.

"Yes, mummy. Only the head of the family is allowed. It's a very important meeting for us heads" Armin simply explained as he stood before her, being very serious over the "meeting" between him and Levi as being for the heads of the family only.

"Hmm, I see" Mikasa hummed back, giving a soft nod as she accepted her son's reasoning.

"We'll have a family day next time" Levi promised from where he stood leaning against the front of his desk, amusement clear in his eyes over  the spin over lunch between the two males the pup has made.

"I look forward to it" Mikasa admitted with a small smile, rather enjoying going out to eat together now that they were all leaving the manor more. She rather liked when Furlan and Isabel agreed to join them but the two normally had date time whenever the other three went out.

"Mummy can pick us up from the café! We can turn the afternoon into a day out" Armin brighten up as he looked between his mother and Levi, bouncing on the spot over spending the afternoon together with his favourite parents.

"It would be nice to bond, together. You need more fabric, don't you?" Levi muttered back with a thoughtful look, remembering she made a comment over needing more supplies for her crafting hobby.

"I am in need of some. It'd be nice to gain some extra sets of eyes in choosing colours" Mikasa replied with a small nod, glancing towards her son as she was planning to make him a new patchwork quilt and it'd be nice to see what colours he was drawn towards.

"I'll help! Can I touch the fluffy fabrics?! Please" Armin grinned out, raising his hand and ready to find the fluffy fabrics.

"I couldn't trust anyone else to find the most fluffiest and most comfortable fabric sold. I'll be relying on you to find the fluffy ones" Mikasa smiled back towards her son as she tapped the tip of his nose, earning a cute giggle in return.

"Think another head of the pack would be able to feel the fabric before we buy them or would I be risking angering the head Alpha?" Levi asked as he glanced towards the pup, wondering if he'd be allowed to join in the fun or would have to leave it all to the future head of the family.

"I'm willing to share the job. Mummy taught me that its good to share. But I don't have to always share, I'm allowed to be keep things to myself" Armin announced with a friendly smile as he turned to Levi, knowing how to share.

"As always your mother's very wise and caring" Levi praised Mikasa yet again.

Armin beamed up towards the Alpha, always feeling proud and overjoyed whenever his mother was praised and complimented. Knowing she was the best mum in the whole world and liking when others saw it too.

Mikasa just gave a shy smile towards Levi, feeling a little bit embarrassed over being praised whenever she was only raising her son how she thought anyone else would. To teach him from right and wrong. To teach boundaries and respect. To be selfish but to also share.

She saw nothing special over her parenting but Levi always seemed to hold her in great heights.

Soon enough the Alpha and the pup were leaving to head into town for lunch at their normal café. With Armin now in school he no longer able to have lunch with Levi during work hours and that meant the two took their bonding moments to the weekends instead.

The staff already friendly and kind as the two arrived and most would coo over how cute and polite Armin was. He's always winning over hearts from all those he meet and Levi merely watched amused. He had no clue how his pup hasn't made many friends at school apart from Marco when he was so well loved by everyone else he crosses paths with.

Levi didn't allow any concerns over the pups school life to take control over his mind. Already spoken to Mikasa over such worries and she promised that not all made friend's easily in a school setting and sometimes it can take until a pup is much older before gaining any friends.

Instead Levi focused on talking to his pup and hearing over his week, all over again, and over the book he was currently reading for fun. As well as hearing over his improved friendship with Marco, the two growing to have a strong bond and friendship already.

"Can I have a cookie with my slice of cake?" Armin asked innocently as he glanced towards the cafe's display counter that showed all their freshly baked sweet treats.

"I think you are in deserving of an extra treat. Just don't tell your mother, she's lectured me plenty of times already over spoiling you" Levi answered with a small nod as he glanced towards the display, wondering what treat his pup would be having today.

"We should get mummy a cookie too, make it fair" Armin announced out of the blue as he tried looking round others that were blocking the display counter view for him.

"And what cookie shall we get her?" Levi asked, keeping them both seated as they allowed their lunch to settle in their stomachs first.

"White chocolate chip cookie. She likes white chocolate cookies more than milk chocolate ones" Armin smiled back happily as he turns his attention back to Levi.

"You remembered. Well done" Levi praised the pup, knowing this was a small but big thing for the pup. He's known Mikasa has been working over trying to get their pup to remember the small likes or dislikes over others to make everyone more comfortable when together.

"She always looks happier when having white chocolate cookies than the other type of cookies we've brought her in the past. Mum deserves a treat with us" Armin explains as he shows different types of smiles trying to show how his mother's expression change depending on the cookie flavour.

"And we like her happiest smile best" Levi confessed with a small but true smile, always enjoying seeing a smile on her face.

"Yeah!" Armin cheered back, giving an perky nod of agreement.

"You get your smile from her" Levi commented mindlessly, knowing Mikasa was a private person and guarded but the few true smiles she let slips are always shown in her son's smile.

Armin only beamed more over hearing he's got his mothers smile. Leaving a few others around them to smile fondly and warmly towards the pup. A few regulars chuckling over the happy pup and staff members cooing over him once again.

After a good five minutes have passed Levi finally stood up, leaving his jacket over the back of his chair to show the table was still in use. Picking up Armin and carrying the pup in his arms as they headed towards the counter.

Levi letting others to pass him to order whatever they had came for as he was giving Armin plenty of time to chose over what cake slice he'd want today and what cookie he'd want. Levi leaning towards a slice of the Victorian sponge cake, his favourite type of cake. Glancing towards Armin who soon pointed towards the fruit cake before pointing towards the milk chocolate chip cookie for his extra treat.

Levi moving towards the serving counter before adding their orders. Asking for the white chocolate chip cookie to be placed in a bag, making sure he didn't forget Mikasa's cookie. The pair soon moving to take a seat once more as they waited for a staff member to bring out their sweet treats and to refill their drinks.

"Cute pup" A man's voiced spoke from their right, the man being a bit older than Levi.

"Thank you" Levi thanked him as he turned to the man, taking notice he was solely staring only at his pup.

"Must be easy to spoil him" The man commented with a joking tone.

"Sometimes" Levi confessed, keeping his answers short and simple as he didn't trust the man one bit.

"Is the mother close by or a father and pup day out for you both?" The man questioned as he finally looked away from the pup to Levi, seeming hopeful over something.

"We're bonding" Levi merely answered.

"Never got to have days like this. My own Da was always too busy, more so once he remarried. Haven't had the chance to have my own bundle of joy, just yet. Hoping to have my mate to be expecting soon. I've waited long enough over allowing her to live on the wild side, time to settle now" The man sighed with a sad shake of his head as he returned to staring towards Armin. The air changing around him as he mentioned over gaining his own pup, a dark and twisted looking filling his eyes.

Levi knew who this man was, he had Furlan looked into the family after all. Knew Zeke Yeager from the quick sketch Furlan was able to do. It was rumoured that a mere café wouldn't be somewhere Zeke would merely chose to go to lunch for. It wasn't hard to know that the man was here for a reason and Levi was happy to play dumb until the man spoke his name.

But Levi still felt his inner bad feeling grow with each passing second. The man wasn't speaking over a beloved partner but someone to bring forward an heir for him. He was controlling the person, didn't truly love them but desired them. It left Levi feeling disgusted over this man and his clear want to have whoever he's claimed as a so called mate to carry his pup.

"You're order, sirs. I do hope you will enjoy" A staff member broke the growing silence, placing the plate of cakes slices down in front of the correct person. Leaving Armin's extra cookie to the side of his slice of cake and the bag with Mikasa's cookie inside tucked by Levi's elbow. Drinks placed down as well.

"Thank you" Levi thanked the staff member.

"Thank you. I'm sure it'd be super yummy" Armin smiled back brightly, waving at the staff member as they walked away.

"I'll leave you to your bonding" Zeke mumbled back an overly friendly smile as he stood up, heading out of the café without looking back once.

Levi kept his eyes to the door, watching the man leave and taking notice over how he looked around outside the café as if he was searching for someone. Only relaxing once he was out of sight and showed no signs over returning.

"I don't like him. Smelled bad" Armin quietly admitted as he stared down at his cake slice, not liking the man at all from his scent alone.

"Bad?" Levi repeated, shocked the pup had sensed anything. More so by scent alone since they've never met Zeke in person before, he shouldn't have had any emotions connected to the mans scent.

"His scent made me feel sick" Armin confessed as he picked up his fork, frowning as he didn't know why the man's scent made him feel sickly.

Levi just gave a slow nod, staying silent as he watched the pup start eating his cake. Frowning as he didn't know what Armin had felt sick by Zeke's scent alone. Knew that bad experiences normally earned pups to feel unwell over someone's scent. But Armin's never met him, not from what Levi knew.

It worried him.
