*Johnny's P.O.V*

The girls led me up the stairs of our cave home, I noticed Boo trying to crawl up the stair railing. i caught her just as she was about to fall.

"Be careful!"I told her "You'll hurt yourself!"

"Boo-Boo" she held her thumb.

"Yeah, I know that's your name" I said.

"Boo-Boo!" she said holding up her thumb "BOO-BOO!"

I stared at her confused.

"She got a sliver on the stair railing again" sighed Stella.

"Oh! Boo-Boo! I get it!" I said, kneeling down.

I took her hand in mine and pulled the small sliver of wood out of her thumb. She whimpered and winced.

 I kissed her thumb "better?"

She nodded, smiling.

"So when do I get to see 'our' future?" I asked, making air quotes around the word our.

"It's right down the hall" said Stella, running ahead.

Boo and I followed her to me and Nessie's bedroom. We walked in and there we were, Nessie and I, sleeping in our bed together. Nessie had that cute and wild bedhead that I love so much.

"Nessie?" I said, trying to touch her cheek. but I couldn't, when I tried my hand went right through her face, like water.

"None of them can see or hear us" said Stella "we're like ghost's to them."

"BOO!" Boo yelled in the sleeping future Johnny's ear. He didn't even flinch.

 Then I heard footsteps running down the hall and another Stella and Boo came bursting into the room. Stella jumped on the bed yelling "Wake up! WAKE UP!"

The future Nessie and Johnny groaned. 

"C'mon! We wanna play!" Stella shook both our shoulders.  

"It's too early" said the future Johnny.

"Five more minutes" pleaded Nessie.

"BOO!" yelled Boo, popping out from under the bed, scaring the future Johnny.

"Did I scare you, daddy?" asked Boo.

"Yes and now I'm awake and you're in trouble" future Johnny said playfully stern.

He picked her up and began to tickle her senseless.

"Do me! Do me!" said Stella.

He grabbed them both and soon the room was full of laughter and happiness. Nessie's smile was the brightest, she seemed to like the fatherly side of her monster.

"Let's get mommy!" suggested the future Johnny.

Nessie's smile faded. "No, no" Nessie made a mad dash for the door. The twins blocked her path and Johnny grabbed her from behind, and tickled her as well.

"Johnny!" she shrieked happily as the girl's joined in.

The current Johnny stared at the scene, Nessie did seem happy with kids and so did he. He wondered what happened to make him love Stella and Boo so much.

"Time to go" said Boo, tugging on his pant leg.

"But I like it here" he said softly.

"We have one more stop to make" said Stella.

Stella and Boo walked out of the room and Johnny slowly followed watching his future family play and laugh. 

Until the bedroom door slammed shut behind him.

AN: Just gonna warn ya now, the next chapter will be emotional! And johnny will have to choose between the two chapters! Yikes!
