It was actually nice to be reconnected to the coal working family.

Soon another one would be on the way. Tanjiro was so happy to see both of them. Not willing to let go unless to go cuddle to close to their mother or want to help out. Inosuke being a grouch and using their crawling skills to get away. Tanjiro thought it was a game and played with his friend. It was adorable even after Inosuke was unaware they started to have fun.

The two boys' giggles and laughter fill up the home.

It was nice.

Not just for the children to have playmates but for the family to interact as well. Even as the months passed it felt like nothing changed too much. This odd bond with the family. A friendship so to speak.

It truly was weird. Questions they're still figuring out.

Could also just blame Tanjuro and Tanjiro bloody smiles. Nobody should look that damn happy!

Any who. Here now, while they do interact. Did the same thing as before when staying. Which was also helping out around the home.

Kotoha helped out by cooking and doing a bit of cleaning. Along with made it clear to Kie to not do anything but rest. Tanjuro not minding the bit of help as they would have to go down to take some coal to the village. Chop extra fire wood while everyone was asleep and making sure no trouble.

Kie adores the clothes Kotoha made for her. She still have the bunny plushie to give them. Same with Tanjiro own plush. Even if it wasn't a boy can still keep a hold of the materials for any other children in the future. Of course, Kotoha staying firm on the baby is a girl. Made her almost believe it too.

It could be true after all.

"Kotoha."

"Hmm."

"My water just broke."

Well, the good news is. They did come back at a good time as the baby would be born.

Now here is the bad news after just being told mother's water broke. Well, good news too. It's a mix of both you see depending on how one sees it.

Technically they don't know what to do.

No, seriously they have no idea what to do. Where is your knowledge and power being Error? Hello! Their life either destroying, sewing, stealing chocolate, mental life crises of hate, and were lucky, if not dragged along, by Blue and Nightmare squad. So, no they never put it in their schedule to learn how to be a delivery nurse.

Good news again after their mind decided to talk back. They did help with animal births. Plus, hey their time as Kotoha. You must have remembered that time.

Bad news. They did remember and it was painful! Along with was alone while their ex and the mother were out drinking. 

Maybe we should see if they are crossing the boundaries if they can find the souls from the other life. You know just a bit of extra torture. Nothing too bad honestly. They'll let them go. Eventually.

Whelp fantasy plans for later.

"Okay." Put the vegetable down as they look at her. "How you feeling?"

"I need to lie down."

Yep, time to get a medic. Then they remember something else.

Tanjuro took the children to the village. No, way they can just leave her alone even if it were to go get them. Sure, they could cheat by magic to get them or go into town to get a midwife. But then that leads to questions. Probably an angry mob. Or would they be those who would be worshipped.

Gah! Both of them sound horrible and annoying.

It's just the two of them.

"Kotoha?"

"Let's get you to lay down. I'm going to prepare for you what you need to relax. Can you recall what you done when Tanjiro was born?" Comes over to help her out to go lay down as comfortable as she can. All right. This may not be too bad. Right?

They didn't sign up for this.

"AAAHHHHHH!"

They really, really didn't sign up for this!

"PUSH!"

"THEN YOU LAY DOWN AND TAKE MY SPOT!"

"PASS! NOW PUSH!"

There not even done as the hours passed.

"STUFF THEM BACK IN, IT HURTS TOO MUCH!"

"IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT!"

"MAKE ITS WORK OR GET THEM OUT!"

How the heck did her husband and the midwives handle this before? They applaud them. No, really big claps for them.

Agonizing hours with one frail father returning with two toddlers later.

"Congratulations it's a girl."

Tanjuro blinks and eyes widen. Kotoha takes their child back. While the father and son rush to go to see the pair. The wife right now was relaxing while cradling a little girl.

"Love."

"Baby."

Kie looked up at the pair. A bit exhausted but smiling. Hair was put in a side braided ponytail. A familiar rabbit plushie by their side.  Cradle a blanket that was a soft pink and orange tone. A pink ribbon was in the baby's hair. "Shhh Nezuko sleeping."

Tanjuro kisses his wife's forehead while his thumb traces his daughter's face. Tanjiro stared at the little one in their mama arm.

"This is your little sister Tanjiro." Kie smiled down at her son, who just smiled happily to see them. "You're going to be a good brother for them."

"Yep!"

The baby started to wake up. As her eyelids start to open up to see a pair of pale pink eyes. Pure baby confusion on what's going on. Even as the smiles sprung down on her.

Kotoha hums as they checked over Inozuke. This was probably the longest they had their son away from them. So, a little alert. When Kie finished giving birth she was able to rest after she fed Nezuko first. Help the pair clean up as soon sleep took both of them over.

Did do a check on her, along with the baby to make sure there were no problems. Besides exhaustion and needing some rest, eat when they wake up. Both were fine, along with healthy as humans can be. A little weary since at this time things could change if a sickness hit. Fragile in other ways that could strike for any human.

Still, it was strong.

"Ma?"

"Yes?" Look down at their son. A look of firmness in their chubby cheeks.

"No, baby."

Stare down at them and snort. Another new word on the list. "Don't have to worry about that."

Not going to be in spot, again.

Can very much make sure of that!
