Tw: Mentions of past injury/Trauma

I hope this isn't terrible.

"Remus, are you alright?" Roman asked, genuinely concerned.
"Yeah, I'm fine, just a little shaken up" Remus replied, truly in a serious state.
"My, my, when did Remus, responsible as Intrusive thoughts get 'shaken up'?" Roman joked.
"Oh shut it dork" Remus shot back, a grin plastered in his face.
"Hey Logan, how did you find us?" Roman asked
"Well, it is quite unusual to find only a single closet in the entire... place, we could say, and you're not exactly quiet when whispering Roman. However, it is understandable given the current situation we're in. Fear does make us more attentive, cautious but also tense and uneasy. The-"
"Oh shut it Nerdy Wolverine, we need to get to Janus as fast as possible and save him!" Remus reminded.
"Wait, Logan, how are Thomas and Patton doing?" Roman inquired.
"Patton and Thomas are fine. Thomas is taking care of Patton while he rests. I ensured that I established a strong force field surrounding them which is most likely to prevent the monster and Unknown from gaining access to capture them."
Roman and Remus let out a sigh of relief.
"And how are you doing, Emo?" Roman asked, slightly smiling.
Virgil smiled back and responded "Oh I'm fine, I'm absolutely alright with fighting a monster, have my legs paralyzed, have Patton heal my legs to the point it exhausts him and then going straight to the monster's den, oh yeah, perfectly fine"
"We aren't going in the monster's den Virgil, we're in a maze-"
"Logan, it's an expression. I can clearly hear fear laced with sarcasm from you Virgil. I'm sorry Emo Nightmare, but honestly, I promise that once this is all over, we can all go home, relax, chill, sleep, whatever, but we have to watch a Disney movie." Roman stated.
Virgil smirked, "Whatever you say Princey"
"Alright lovebirds! Make out or let's go and save Janus. We're wasting time idiots!" Remus interrupted.
Roman and Virgil both red-faced simultaneously protested that they aren't 'lovebirds'. Earning a small and light chuckle from Logan.

Remus, Roman, Virgil and Logan started their unpleasant journey to rescue Janus. Occasionally, a sound of rustling bushes and echoing footsteps would allow them to reveal their weapons, ready for ambush of any creature, but found nothing to their delight and dismay. They all figured that the only way they were going to find Janus in order to rescue him was to travel to the centre of the maze, or to the exit, that Remus knew was all the way on the other side. They all decided that they should travel to the centre of the maze first.

Once they reached the entrance to the centre of the maze, they all took a deep breath and admired the surrounding of the opening, which was decorated with black and brown roses as well as sharp, bristly dark coloured vines. The gap showed a wide, dull, dark and barren area.
Roman was the first to break the silence, "Are we sure we're ready?"
Remus patted his right shoulder in affirmation, "Brother, I think we are."
Logan did the same as Remus, patting Roman's left shoulder, he stated, "We're going to survive this."
Roman felt unsure, however, Virgil stepped up and patted his back and reminded, "If we go down, then we go down together."
Roman sadly smiled at that, his worries and frown once again appeared on his face as he looked back at the decorated entrance.
He put on a brave and reassuring front that ensured that they were going to survive. Everyone took one step inside, and as they did, Remus whispered, "We're coming Janus."
"Into the Unknown." Roman declared.
