Previously on Chapter 12

We stay silent as we wait for a while, but there is no sign of transformation. We let out a sigh of relief, realizing it had worked. Now she can rest peacefully. All I can do now is pray that she'd feel better soon. I smile sadly at the sight of her. Have a good rest... L/N.

Bakugo P.O.V

I can't focus on classes. My mind is constantly thinking about L/N who's in a deep sleep like state. I'm worried about her. Sure, it actually works and the monster inside her won't take control. But even so, seeing her in that state makes me feel uneasy.

As soon as the class ended. I find myself making my way towards the lab room L/N's in. I push the door open to reveal the stasis tank she's in. Her body floats gently as she remains in her sleep.

"She's in a stable state..." a voice said. I turn my head to see Recovery Girl. She smiles at me as she walks up to us, focusing on L/N. "Her heart rate is normal, and her condition is improving well. We just have to wait for her to wake up" she said. I just turn my head to look at L/N.

"You love her, right?" She said, making me snap my head towards her direction. She turns to look at me. "It's obvious in your eyes the way you look at her" she said. I let out a nervous cough and turn my head saya, trying to hide the blush on my cheeks.

"And it's quite obvious the other two boys are also in love with her" she said. I'm aware who she's talking about. She must be talking about that icy hot and Deku. "Hmm... I wonder who she'd end up with" she said.

"I'll make sure it'll be me... I'm not giving up on her" I said. She turns her head to look at me. I turn my head to look at L/N again. "I wonder if she can hear me right now" I said.

"I'm pretty sure she can" she said. I feel my heart jump at what she said. "People who are in a deep sleep state sometimes can be aware of the situation around them. I'm sure L/N is no different" she said. She turns to look at me. "Anyway... I have things to do. So I'll be taking my leave for now. I'll come back again to check on her after two hours" she said. She turns around and makes her way out of the lab.

The door slides open. I turn my head to see Icy Hot and Deku. They blink their eyes in surprise at the sight of me. But they didn't say anything as they make their way inside.

"How is she?" Icy Hot said. I turn my head to look at him for a brief moment. "Is she okay?" He asked again. I click my tongue in annoyance at his constant question.

"She's fine. Recovery Girl said she's stable and that she's recovering well..." I said. He heaved out a sigh of what seem to be relieved. He turn to look at L/N again. I just turn my head away from him, deciding to just focus on the h/c haired girl inside the tank.

"I'm glad to know that" Deku said. The three of us just stands there in silence, while staring at the sleeping girl inside the tank. When is she going to wake up? I miss hearing her voice again.

After a while, break time is over and we have to head to class for the next lesson. We turn around to leave the lab room. I walk with my hands inside my pocket as I stare forward.

"I'd like to make a few things clear" Icy Hot said. I turn my head to look at him. He glance at Deku and I. "I'm in love with L/N" he said. I know about that. It was quite obvious.

"I heard you talking to Recovery Girl, Bakugo. Right before entering the lab and learned that you're also in love with L/N" he said. I feel my eyebrow twitched at what he said. He was eavesdropping the whole time. He turn his gaze to look at Deku who's walking in between us. "What about you, Midoriya? You are almost always the first to react if it involves L/N" he asked.

"E-Eh?" He said, seemingly startled by this. He lifts his hands as he starts fiddling with his fingers. "Um... I... uhh" he stuttered out.

"Oi, Deku!" I snapped, startling him. He jumps at my sudden outburst and turns to look at me. "Just say yes or no. What are you stammering for?" I said, glaring at him in annoyance.

"E-Er... y-yes" he said, nodding his head. I heave out a sigh. I roll my eyes and look away from him. "I am in love with L/N" he said again.

"So, the three of us are in love with L/N..." Icy Hot said. I click my tongue in annoyance. Even though I was kind of have a hunch about this. But now that it's confirmed that these two are also in love with L/N, makes me feel troubled. These two have been so friendly towards her. What if she chose one of them over me?

"I won't give up..." I said, walking forward and turn to face them. They stop mid track as they stare at me. "I'll fight for her love. No matter what. I'll show that I'm the best match for her" I said. The two of them turn to look at each other before turning back to.

"Well, same goes with me..." Icy Hot said. Midoriya only nods his head to let me know he's not giving up on L/N either. I clenched my hands into tight fists. All three of us have a look of determination flashing in our eyes.

I guess this is where we start. Once L/N wakes up from her deep sleep, we will do our best to win her heart. I'll try my best to make sure L/N will be able to see that I'm the one for her, so she will choose me.
