Chapter 7: Mission.

"Amelia, can I ask you something?" Seras asked as we walked down the hallway.

"Yes, I suppose so. What is it?" I replied.

"Do you ever think about what would have happened if our master had never found us and saved us?" She asked.

I thought for a moment. "No, I suppose I have not. I am assuming you have thought about it?" I asked.

She nodded her head. "Quite a lot actually. Do not get me wrong, I appreciate everything the master and Sir Integra has done for me, it's just I find myself thinking about that night quite often." Seras looked off and sighed.

I had never thought about that before, but now that Seras has brought it up, I feel as if I will think about it a lot now.

"Are you having second thoughts?" A velvety voice in my head asked.

"Alucard?" I asked the voice.

"Yes Amelia, now answer my question."

I shook my head. "No, I am not having second thoughts. Why would you ask that?"

"Because you are." Alucard said.

"No I am not!" I shouted.

"You are not what?" Seras asked.

I turned to her and closed my eyes. "My apologies Seras, I did not mean to say that aloud." I said and shook my head.

She placed a hand over her heart and laughed. "It is alright Amelia." She giggled some more.

I regained my composure and began to open my eyes. "Seras what are you lau-"

"Aluc- I mean master, what are you doing?" I asked frantically.

Alucard began to laugh with that evil laugh of his. He was directly in front of my face, almost to the point of our noses touching. Alucard squinted his eyes and a smirk grew across his face. "My master would like to see the three of us." He said.

I nodded my head and squirmed out from under him. "Come Seras," I said while grabbing the vampires arm. "We would not want to keep Sir Integra waiting, now would we."

Seras wore quite a confused look, but reluctantly nodded her head.

As we walked away, I could feel Alucards dark eyes burning a hole into the back of my head. I chuckled and shook my head playfully.

"Sir Integra?" I asked as I knocked on her office door.

"Yes, come in." She answered blankly.

I opened the door and walked in, Seras shut it behind us. "Please, sit down. Where is Aluc-"

"I am right here, my master." He said as he phased through the wall, answering her question.

Integra rolled her eyes and returned her attention to her desk. "I have a mission for the three of you." She said, not looking up from the cigar she was currently rolling. "The mission will take place in Vienna, Austria at the Bernstein castle. Alucard, you and Amelia will pose as a newlywed couple on your honeymoon. Seras, you will pose as a waitress. The perpetrator is a man by the name of Calvin Ghmachi. He has dismembered and slaughtered a multitude of young women. He is a demon, take no mercy. I need the three of you to find him and dispose of him." Sir Integra explained.

"So Sir, I have to pretend to be married to him?" I said turning to Alucard.

Alucard winked and nodded his head. "That will not be a problem, will it?" Integra asked.

I nodded my head. "Of course not, Sir. My apologies." I said while sitting back in my seat.

Integra lit her cigar and sat back in her seat as well. "You will all leave in an hour, dressed and ready to go. Is that clear?" She asked.

"What are we supposed to wear, Sir?" Seras asked.

Integra laughed and stood up. "I am glad you asked Seras." She said while walking to the window. "Your outfits are in your rooms already prepared on your bed." Integra said with a smirk. "You are all dismissed." She said and waved her hand.

Seras and I left her office, while Alucard phased through the wall. "I am not very fond of that smirk that was on Sir Integra's face." I said turning to Seras. "I bet it has something to do with our outfits."

Seras said with a giggle. I shook my head at the monstrosity awaiting me in my room. "Let us go to our rooms with out the other seeing our outfits until we leave, deal?" I asked Seras.

She shook her head playfully and nodded. "Deal, I'll see you in an hour."

When I arrived at my room, I opened it slowly and stepped in. On the bed sat a short crimson red dress with a white and black tuele skirt. It was long sleeved with tuele and the ends as well. To say it was beautiful would be an understatement. It was paired with long white knee highs with red and black hemming the edges and gorgeous black heels. The chest of the dress was also black and white, but it was in a lace design, the back was of course a corset. I picked it up and stood in front of the mirror in my room. When I first imagined the dress, I pictures something utterly hurendous, but it was stunning.

I sat the dress down on the bed gently and sat at the vanity in the corner of my room. I glanced at the clock, ten minutes had already passed. I guess I shall wear my hair natural, no time for curls. I turned back to the mirror and began to apply some mascara.

When I was finished, I returned my attention to the gown on my bed. I stood and began to undress. I removed my stockings, my skirt and pulled my shirt over my head.

I sat on the bed and slipped on the snow white knee highs that felt as if they were made of silk, they were very cooling to the touch. I grabbed the short white slip and pulled it over my head, and then finally the dress.

I slipped my arms through the sleeves and pulled it up on my shoulders. I had imagined that the gown would be rather heavy, but to my surprise, it was quite the opposite.

I reached my arms around to the back, remembering the corset. I sighed in annoyance. What the hell am I to do?

I thought of the only logical solution I could.

'Alucard.' I thought.

'Yes, love?' His voice sounded through my head, not even a second later.

'I require your assistance.' I thought back.

'With what, my dear?'

'I need your assistance with my clothing.' I sighed.

A deep chuckle sounded through my head. 'Taking them off, I hope?'

'No, Alucard, I need you to tie my corset, but you can not see me. You have to wear a blindfold.' I thought as I rolled my eyes.

'Very well.' He thought back with a defeated sigh.

A split second later, Alucard appeared behind me, blindfold in tow.

"And why can I not see you exactly?" He asked.

I placed a hand on one hip and my other hand on the wall, preparing myself. Alucard fumbled with the ribbon, attempting to lace it. His hands lingered on my backside for a moment, but we both knew very well that he knew what he was doing without being able to see.

"Because Alucard, you can not see me until I am dressed properly. It is not very lady like." I paused for a moment awaiting his reaction, while swatting his hand away.

A deep chuckle sounded through the room. "Right, Amelia. What's the real reason?" He said.

After I giggled myself, a stern look spread across my face. "You can not see me until I am dressed. It is a surprise and I do not want to ruin it."

Alucard nodded his head in understanding. He finally got a hold of the ribbon and wrapped it around his hands. "Ready?" He asked.

I nodded my head, knowing he could not see it. As soon as I did so, he pulled quite hard on the ribbon and began to lace it with a few breathless tugs here and there. I placed my other hand firmly on the wall and let out a groan.

"My apologies love, I am almost finished. Just one," He said with a painful tug. "More."

He let go of the ribbons, allowing them to fall where they may, and placed a hand on my shoulder.

"I may not be able to see you right now, but I am certain you look ravishing my dear." He whispered.

A dark blush grew across my face. I had not realized he was not even dressed yet, until I looked up into the mirror. He was still sporting his crimson coat, although his hat was absent.

"Alucard," I said glancing towards the clock. "You need to get dressed. It is almost time to part."

He nodded his head and leaned down to place a kiss on my forehead.

"Until then love." He whispered.
