Jin's POV 🌸

"I'm surprised you didn't know about that..." Korrina mentioned as she gave me a surprised look.

"Well, it is my first time mega evolving Akami after all..." I replied as I shrugged my shoulders before I looked over and petted Akami behind the ears.

Akami nodded before resting his head on my chest.

I wrapped my arms around him as I smiled.

Akami closed his eyes as he started to smile too before he letted out a relaxed sigh.

I happened to notice that he was starting to fall asleep a little.

"Aww...Is someone feeling tired again?" I gushed while I was looking at Akami.

Akami nodded a bit.

"It's alright...But, I need you to stay awake for me so we can battle Korrina. After that, then you can sleep in for a while...Okay?" I said as I shook him a bit.

Akami groaned a little before he looked at me and nodded his head.

"Thank you, Akami..." I said as I smiled.

Akami, then, got off of me before he stood up.

"Alright, Korrina...We're ready to battle. So, give us everything that you got!" I said as me and Akami took our positions.

Korrina smiled as she and her mega Lucario took their positions too.

"I like your enthusiasm and your determination, Jin...You'd be a good gym leader too." Korrina mentioned.

"Thanks, Korrina..." I replied as I smiled.

Gurkinn stood over to the side.

"The battle between Korrina of Coumarine City against Jin from Hoenn Region shall begin!" Gurkinn announced.

Me and Akami got ready as we nodded at Gurkinn.

Korrina and her mega Lucario did the same.

"Let the battle begin!!!" Gurkinn announced.

"Akami, use Bone Rush!" I said.

"Alright, Lucario! Use Bone Rush too!" Korrina said.

Akami and Lucario both created a Bone Rush and went at each other like it was a sword fight.

They were both pretty good at it but I think Akami outranks Korrina's Lucario at it because his fighting techniques was more graceful and powerful.

And he was hitting Korrina's Lucario with every chance he gets.

Then Akami suddenly smacked both of the Bone Rush out of Lucario's paw.

"Alright, Akami! Use Iron Fist!" I said.

"Dodge it with your aura and hit him with Aura Sphere!" Korrina said.

"Use Bone Rush again to block it!" I quickly told Akami.

Akami came at Lucario with Iron Fist but Lucario dodged it.

Then Lucario charged up an Aura Sphere and shot it at Akami.

Akami then used Bone Rush and blocked it.

But, the force of Lucario's Aura Sphere was so strong that it pushed Akami back and sent him flying and made him crash into the ground, right almost a few inches at my feet.

"Akami, are you okay?" I asked concernedly as I hurried over to him.

Akami groaned a little as he nodded before I helped Akami stand up.

"Let's try again and go steady at it this time...Alright?" I said.

Akami nodded and got himself ready.

"Use Aura Sphere again!" I heard Korrina say.

"Dodge it using Aura!" I said.

The Aura Sphere was already fired from Lucario and just right after I said that, Akami quickly dodged it.

I quickly ducked as the Aura Sphere flew past me and crashed into a wall of rocks behind me.

"Akami, use Swords Dance and then use Earthquake!" I said.

Akami summoned in Swords Dance to increase his attack before using Earthquake.

"Lucario, dodge it!"

Apparently, Lucario dodged Akami's attack a little way too late after that, because the attack Akami made hitted Lucario straight on.

Lucario went flying and landed on his head when he crashed to the ground.

"Use Iron Fist to finish him off!" I said.

Akami ran at Lucario and then slammed him back down on the ground the moment Lucario tried to get back up.
