Once at home, Bridgette rushed to her room and took a few deep breaths. Even with Timber, the night was wonderful, and all she could think about what how Alek chose her as his queen. She smiles and spins around, sighing with delight before falling on her bed. She grabs the bird charm, and holds to it tightly, whispering "Monarch will come back.... I promise you Alek..." she shuts her eyes and drifts to sleep.

After the final dance, Alek moved back inside, bowing to each guest that came.
The guards shut the door and the servants begin cleaning. "Alek!" The king comes up to him. He was smiling but his eyes showed slight anxiety. "Have you found your queen?"

Alek runs his fingers through his hair. "I believe I did... but she ran off." The king's smile fades. "Don't worry, we're going to get her back though!" Alek adds. "Maybe we could... throw another masquerade tomorrow night! She could come back!"

A: (AWWWW HE'S SO IN LOVE)

The king folds his hands behind his back. "Alek, she might not."

Alek smiled. "She might though! It's the best option we have."

Darwin sighs. "If she doesn't show up, you're not having a choice again Alek."

Alek hesitated before throwing his hands in the air, still smiling. "Fine! I know she will! She has to!"

L: (This is actually adorable..is it bad that I say that because I'm writing it?)

A: (NO CAUSE YOU'RE RIGHT I DO THE SAME THING! THIS IS SO CUTE)

The king nods. "Alright. You're responsible for arranging the music and invitations."

Alek grinned and hugged his father. "It will be grand, I promise!" He pulls away, leaving the king stunned. Alek then ran to the office, spending his night working on the new invites.

Bridgette wakes up early in the morning and Maria is sitting on her bed, looking at her with a wide smile. "... how was it?"

Alek wakes up, his hair messy as he finishes a few last minute preparations in the morning. Kogan assisted with the decor.

Bridgette tells her mother about everything, (leaving out timber) smiling and joyous. Maria hugs her tightly and giggles. "You have to go back!" Bridgette nods then shakes her head "Wait- but Papa won't let me go twice!"
"OH yes he will! I'll make him."

Bridgette smiles and hugs her mother tightly "thank you mama...." Maria hugs back and smiles "we made you another dress...." Bridgette laughs with joy and jumps up spinning "THANK YOU MAMA!!!"

Alek smiles, having Kogan make another suit for him, making it the inverse of the other one.

Alek didn't stop smiling as he helped Kogan, making him a suit as well.

Kogan and Alek get dressed. Alek smiles as Kogan ties the mask onto his face.

The rest of the day Bridgette carries on with life, helping out and feeding the wargons. Nixxiom stops her in the woods as the sunsets and she heads home. ".... your mother tells me you're going again."

Bridgette jumps on her father's back and he grunts, chuckling a bit.

"Yup! And you aren't stopping me! I love dancing at balls, and there aren't any here."

He sighs and holds her on his back as he walks. He smiles "Well... I'm just worried for you..."

She shakes her head and kisses his cheek "You don't have to be Papa! I'm safe! And this time, I'll hide a dull knife under my dress. This way, I can cut people, but not kill. My staff is somewhere in Alcor..."

He glances at her and raises an eyebrow. She smiles innocently and he grins."Is that an excuse?"

"What-?! No of course not papa!" She giggles and he laughs tickling her, causing her to laugh and fall over. He helps her up smiling.

"Alright Bridgette.... this is the last night, ONLY to get your staff. Got it?"

She nods and cheers "Yup! Got it!"

A: (IS IT BAD I THINK IT'S ADORABLE EVEN THOUGH I'M WRITING IT?! HAHAHA I USED YOUR WORDS AGAINST U)

Bridgette gets ready with her mother and then she leaves to Alcor.
