Bridgette is sitting in her room, staring at the ground and toying with the necklaces. Maria walks in and sighs "Sweetheart...?"

Bridgette shakes her head, "Don't tell me what papa told me. I don't want to forget my friends. They care about me, I know they do." 

Maria shakes her head "Sweetheart-"

"No mother! I want to see them again, and I dont care where you and papa hid the chalk cause I will find it!"

"... Bridgette-"

"I don't just want to sit in here like some uncivilized backwoods-!"

"BRIDGETTE!"

She jolts and looks at Maria who is holding a piece of paper and a piece of the chalk. She smiles. "I... took a quick peek and noticed they were having a masquerade ball..." Bridgette gasps and smiles wide.

Kogan steps out from the dance, moving to Alek, who was listening to the musicians play. "Alek! Come with me and have fun!" Alek looks at the dancing people. "They're all dying to speak to you!" Kogan does a begging face. "Please!!" 

Alek sighs. "Fine." Kogan grabs him by the arm, handing him off to a woman without a partner. They greet eachother and join the dance.

Maria takes Bridgette to Aowin and shows her the dress they made. Bridgette gasps and jumps up and down "H-how did you-"

"I found out earlier today... and Aowin is really good with stitching so... here you go." They help her get ready, putting on her dress and pinning up her hair.

Alek danced with several people who tried to keep his interest. He remained polite but his dancing was robotic, exact and meaningless.

Maria takes bridgette back home and sneaks into her room. She gives Bridgette her black cloak that was given to her by Nixxiom, and the necklace that Nixxiom used to look human. The only problem was her ears, yet they hid them in her hair. Maria smiles and kisses Bridgette's forehead. "Ten minutes. Let me keep your father asleep, and you can leave okay?" She smiles and gives Bridgette the chalk.

L: (AHHH SHE LOOKS HUMAN SO THERE COULD BE A SUPER CHARMING REUNION AND ALEK WON'T EVEN KNOW IT)

After waiting, Bridgette finally sneaks from her room and down the tree, holding the chalk and hiding her necklaces in her dress. She begins drawing the portal when suddenly Nixxiom's voice says from behind her. "Leaving so soon?"

L: (AHHHH)

She gasps and jumps around, to see her father folding his arms and looking at her with a stone glare. Her ears would lower if they were seen.
"I.... I was just..." she sighs and looks down.

 Nixxiom walks over to her and lifts her chin to look at him. He smiles a bit. "... Be safe..."

Bridgette stares at him for a moment before smiling and hugging him tightly. He hugs back. "I promise papa!" She kisses his cheek and quickly opens the portal, walking through and not looking back.
