I'm having my farewell match in on the indies before signing with WWE against one of my closest friends AJ Styles. And before the match, AJ meets me in my locker room.

AJ: You're ready man?

Me: More than ever dude, but I'm gonna miss the people here backstage, I'm gonna miss the rockest crowd here in ROH and NJPW and most importantly, I'm gonna miss you guys.

AJ: Hey, let's save the tears for after our match and you do your farewell speech.

Me: I'm gonna give my best shot bro.

(30 minutes of masterpiece & speech later)

I'm shaking hands with ROH fans and then the whole Bullet Club came and hugged me, at this point, I couldn't take it and I began to let little tears. After that emotional moment, I left the arena to go to Stanford, Connecticut for my meeting with Triple H.

(A week later)

So here we go, I'm going to sign my contract with WWE and I met Triple H after he took over WWE from Vince.

HHH: Welcome Víctor, I'm very glad that you decided to join us.

Me: The pleasure is all mine Hunter.

HHH: So here's the contract, you have creative control with your character, so you can keep it, also, you will have the power to sign whoever you want.

Me: Even my friends from the indies?!

HHH: As well.

Me: Well, I'll accept that with one condition, that whoever comes to WWE, they will have the right treatment.

HHH: No problem, I'm not like Vince, I give people the opportunity that they deserve.

Me: Thanks Hunter.

After I signed the contract I was about to leave until...

HHH: Víctor, wait. Welcome to the WWE.
