Marinette Dupain is 16 and in love!  She can not believe it. She is ready to confess to Larry.  She has been with him for a year now.  She thinks what harm could come from it?  She knows he is a famous model, but still that does not matter, right?  She does not know how those words will come back to haunt her someday.  She gets ready for their date!  She is early!  She can not wait to see the look he gives her when he sees her new outfit!  She made it herself and everything! She is glad she took the time to fix her hair back in a french braid, to put on makeup and sandals.  

       Marinette arrives at the park fifteen minutes ahead of schedule!  She squints a bit from the suns rays.  She thinks, why did I leave my sunglasses at home!  She wonders if she should have taken the time to grab up the shades.   She checks the time.  She sees it is only five minutes before they are to meet up.  She thinks, that is strange I could have sworn I saw him leave the photo shoot a few moments ago!  She paces back and forth.  

        The time ticks by and by!  Still Marinette waits for him!  She makes the mistake to look up when she hears a noise near the fountain!  She sees him there.  Wow, he looks so hot!  She blushes at the thought as she approaches him!  

       "Hi, babe!"  Larry says when he sees her.

       "Hi, Larry!"  Marinette says.

      "So, what is with the dress?  You know you do not need to dress up so fancy for me, right?"  Larry says.

       "I know, but I want too."  Marinette says.

     "Awe, you always have a way with words!"  Larry says.

        Marinette giggles. She is happy.  She believes she could not be happier if the earth were to swallow her up whole with Larry beside her.  She is that glad to be here alone with her man! She thinks, nothing will ever go wrong between us right?  

       Larry smiles.  He thinks, that laughter is what gets me through my rough days!  Oh, to hear it more often!  He could not be more happy than he is already, right?

      Marinette feels Larry grab her hand. She blushes.  

    "Larry, what is this all about hun?"  Marinette ask.

    "Well, it is the anniversary of the day we got together!"  Larry says.

     "Yes, so?"  Marinette says.

     "So, I want to spend it with you!"  Larry says.

      "Awe, Larry you always know just the right thing to say."  Marinette says.

          Larry and Marinette dance. As it turns to a slow one, he leans in and kisses her!  Marinette returns the kiss!  She feels like she could melt from it!  She is so in love and she feels he must love her too!  Why else would he kiss her like this?

         "Marinette, you know I love you right?"  Larry ask.

       " I do  now.  I love you too!"  Marinette says.

        "Good, then come with me to New York for two months!  It will be great, just the two of us, no strings attached."  Larry says softly.

          "I would love too, but my parents would never let me go away with you alone let alone for two months."  Marinette answers.

        "So, tell them there is a chaperon!  They do not need to know the truth.  So, what do you say, darling?"  Larry says.

            "I say, you can not expect me to lie to my folks. How could you?"  Marinette says.  She walks off.  She sits under a tree with disgust in her voice and can not understand how he could make such a request of her.  

            A few moments later, Marinette goes to tell Larry she reconsiders that she will be glad to go through with the plan.  After all he is her boyfriend and this way maybe they can finally have some time alone with so many parrazi around!  She is full of excitement !  She runs to tell him yes!  Yes, that she will go with him when she sees him by the fountain with another girl!  

           Marinette looks closer and to her utter shock, he is not just near the other girl, he has his arms around her and his lips on hers!  She gasps!  How could this happen?  How could her Larry confess love for her and go and break her heart like this?  How could he do this to her?  How could he just use her like this?   She lets the tears fall, and runs up to them.

          "Larry, here is your stupid promise ring back!  Turns out I do not need it after all!   You liar, cheater and jerk!  You made me feel special and loved!  You made me think you honestly did care for me and now you go make out with someone else!  How could you?  Am I that worthless to you that you could not just go easy on  me, and break up with me?  Why did you have to cheat?  Why?"  Marinette remarks.  She does not really expect an answer.

        "Marinette, wait!  It is not what you think!  It is not what it looks like, babe!  Come on you have to believe me!  You are my little fire cracker!  You are the only one for me."  Larry says.

        "No, Larry!  I will not ever trust you ever again!  Not today, tomorrow, next week, not ever!  We are history!  Got it?  We are through, so go back to your own girl!  To your better than me person who you lock lips with so well!   Leave me alone!  I never want to see you, speak to you or hear from you ever again!"  Marinette says.

          "What?  You can not really mean it!  Honest, Marinette!  It is not that bad!  She puts the moves on me and I swear, I did not kiss her back!"  Larry lies.

            "I do not believe you!  Good bye, Larry the liar!  Bye, traitor !  Do not follow me!"  Marinette says.

             Marinette runs home.  She does not even bother to look back, or take off her sandals.  She just runs.  She arrives there in no time.  She goes to her room, collapses on her bed and cries herself to sleep.  She will never be the same again!  She promises she will never let herself get hurt like this again. She will never date a model again!  She is done with them all!  She will never love again!  She can not.
