One week later, Amanda sees him!  The boy she has a crush on currently.  Her crush has auburn hair-as in it is brown with a bit of red and orange in it- who says his name is Steve.  She thinks, man I want to be with him!  Only, I can not because I pretend to date Adrien!  There must be some way to make it work out though with the new guy though, right?  What?  

        Amanda waits to school lets out that day and waits for Adrien. She smiles. Then frowns.  "Adrien, you know that it was nice while we were together!  Only thing is I no longer need you!  You are free as a bird."  Amanda says.

       "What do you mean?"  Adrien retorts.  He tries to sound mad to make the fake fight and breakup seem more believable for those who see it.

        "I mean that you are no longer the one."  Amanda blurts out.  She reaches up and slaps Adrien across the face. 

         "Oh, yeah well there are prettier girls in the sea you know!" Adrien replies as furious as he can to make everyone think they are upset with one another.

           Amanda walks over to Steve, smirks and says, "Take a  load of this, Adrien!"  She leans in and kisses Steve.  She wraps her arms around him too. She thinks, this better work so I can be with Steve and Adrien can be with his Marinette!   

          Steve is caught off guard by the pretty chick who kisses him.  He finds he likes it and kisses her back.  He sees her blush.  He breaks the kiss, and mutters, "A-Amanda, I like you, but what about him?"  He points to where Adrien stands with an look of annoyance on his face.

            "Adrien who?"  Amanda remarks. She twirls her hair, smiles at Steve and flirts with him.

               "How dare you?  You can not kiss him!  You will break his heart!  Look, I do not care who you think you are , but you can not hurt Adrien!"  Marinette yells at Amanda.  She is livid as ever!  Talk about one chick who is really not happy about the situation before her eyes.

               "Haha, pff, as if Adrien and I will ever be a thing!  Not ever!  Adrien and I were are done for good!  I have Steve now!"  Amanda says.  She kisses Steve more passionately now and he returns the kiss.  

                 "Awe, look at the new couple! So romantic!" Rose remarks.

                "Yeah, way to go!  Amanda and Steve! " Nino says.

                "Awe, my ship it sails!"   Alya remarks.

                  "Well, half brother looks like you have competition! "  Chloe remarks. She laughs and goes to find her boyfriend, Nathaniel.

                  "Yeah, Steve and Amanda rocks!"  Kim says as he gives Alix a high five.

                   "You know it!  Adrien and Amanda are old news.   Now it is Amanda and Steve which by the way is way better.  I mean look how into each other they are right now!"  Sabrina says.

                   "There is a 99.9% chance it will work out better for them than it did her and Adrien."  Max says as he calculates the odds in his head when it comes to the outcome to this new couple who just got together today.          

                "Yeah, they are good!"  Alix states.

               "This is much better than that lame idea of  her and Adrien!  Everyone knows that was a mistake anyway."  Lila states.

                   "What how you say that when Adrien is hurt?"  Marinette says.  She walks away in confusion.  She grabs her bag and leaves.  She can not understand why everyone is happy at the expense of  a broken relationship.

                     Little does she know that Adrien blushes when Marinette stands up for him like this.  His face is now almost crimson!  He thinks, wow, Marinette worries about me!  Cool, she is so awesome!

                      As for Steve he finally has the guts to admit he likes Amanda and vice versa.   "So, Amanda since you are no longer with Adrien will you go out with me sometime?  I mean if you want too."  Steve says.

                "You mean on a date?  Sure that would be great!"  Amanda says as she flashes Steve a smile of her very own.

             "Good then in that case, how is Saturday at 2 pm?"  Steve ask her.

          "Saturday at 2 pm works well for me."  Amanda says. She smiles.  She hugs him.

        "Does this mean you will be my girlfriend?"  Steve wants to know.

          "Yes, silly!"  Amanda  says.

             Steve picks her up and spins her around and around.  He sets her back down.  "Well, see you later, girlfriend!"
  

            "Yeah, see you later, boyfriend!"  Amanda gushes.

                Meanwhile, Marinette is in her room.  She has feelings of  anger, confusion, sadness and relief all at the same time. This is due to the fact that Adrien no longer dates Amanda.  She has no idea their relationship was a scam.  She thinks it was real.  She has no reason to believe otherwise.  She sobs. She yells, "Ugh, how could this happen?  First he dates someone else and now the other girl cheats on him!"

            Tikki sees the frustration Marinette has today. She thinks that can not be very healthy.  She feels sorry for her companion.  She smiles, flies over to her and says,  "Marinette calm down!  I thought this is what you want for Adrien to be able to be with you! "

             "Wh-What?  Tikki are you out of your mind.  Adrien and me?   What?  That is not possible!"  Marinette says as she tosses a pillow across the room at her bed.

              "Marinette, I thought you like him now!  So, what is the big deal if Amanda and him broke up?  There is  nothing wrong with it.  This sort of stuff happens all the time.  Besides, maybe he really does not like her in that way anyway. So just calm down, girl!"  Tikki says.

            "No, Tikki!  You do not get it.  I can not like Blondie!"  Marinette says with tears that flow down her cheeks.

             "Why not if it makes you happy?"  Tikki ask. She can not stand to see her friend this upset.

            "He is a model and he is not that serious about me!  His being with her proves it."  Marinette says.

          Tikki wishes there were something she could do or say to show Marinette how wrong she is about Adrien!  How Adrien does not care for anyone, but Marinette!  How  the whole Amanda thing was a misunderstanding, it was not real, it was fake for crying out loud!
