The next day, Adrien glances at Marinette!  He is glad she does not seem to notice.  He only hopes that she will be his friend. For now, that is more than he could even hope for at this moment. He does not know what he did wrong.  Why is it she always brushes him off?   Did he say something to hurt her?  He can not seem to get why she behaves the way she does around him.

        After school that day....

           "Marinette, explain now!"  Alya says.

            "Explain, what Alya?"  Marinette ask.

            "Explain, why are you always so rude to Adrien!  You know he is always kind to you."  Alya points out.

            Marinette rolls her eyes. She can not believe Alya rebukes her for this. How could she ?  She of all people should understand why Marinette is the way she is right?  She does not even bother to answer Alya.  It is not like she has anything new to share with her.

          "Hi, Marinette!  Hi, A-Alya!"  Nino says.

          "Hi, Nino!"  Alya calls out.

          "Hi, there man!" Marinette says. She is glad to see that Alya and Nino still get along so well.

         "Hi, Nino, Alya and M-Marinette!" Adrien says.  He can tell Marinette does not appear to be to happy to see him.  Why?  what did he ever do to her?
          

         "Come on, Marinette!  Adrien is a really nice guy once you get to know him.  So what do you say?   How about you give him a chance, girl?"  Alya remarks.

          "What? There is no way I will ever be friends with the likes of him!  He is a model and a blonde one to boot!  Agh!   You know how I feel about models."  Marinette protest quite to loudly.

          "Oh, so that is it?  Is it?  You judge a guy before you get to know them?"  Adrien says sadly.

             "Way to go dudette you have gone and hurt his feelings!"  Nino remarks.

              "Yeah, Marinette, why did you have to go and insult him?  I told you he is different!"  Alya says.

              "Different?  In what way?  I told you all models are the same.  Larry was a model, and look my trust in him got me?"  Marinette says rudely.

               "Larry, what does he have to do with it?"  Alya says.  Her hands on her hips.

             "It has everything to do with it!"  Marinette says.

               "Wait, just a minute now!  Who is Larry?"  Adrien ask.

               "He is just some looser that is all!"  Alya says. She does air quotes around the looser part.

               "Oh, I see. Well, I better go." Adrien says.  He feels hurt that she should treat him badly because of his job. It is not like he has a choice about it.  His father insists he does this.  Ugh, why can he not just love a girl who returns his feelings?   It is then it dawns on him, he has more than just a basic crush on Marinette!  He loves the girl.   

                "Larry is my ex-boyfriend!  He is the one who took my heart and threw it away!  It was like I meant nothing to him!  I was trash in his eyes.  He could not get me to agree right away to a vacation with him, so he decides to lead me on. He cheats on me the moment I turn my back on him.  So, I am sorry if I do not believe you that models can be great guys too!"  Marinette says. With that she stomps off.

             Adrien stands their with a look of pity in his eyes.  He knows she hates him.  Yet, he is sure it is really Larry she hates and she just takes it out on the other models.  He decides he must find a way to show her he is not Larry, nor like him the least bit.  But how?   How and when?  

            Alya sees Adrien stare at Marinette as she leaves.  She feels sorry for the guy. She can tell he has it bad for Marinette.  To bad her friend can not see how great it is to have this guy as the one who crushes on her!   

          "Sorry man!  I wish I could help!  However, you know how it is with Marinette!  She is stubborn as ever!  She refuses to let anyone near her that is a model.  She does not seem to care that they are not Larry!  So, I feel for you man!  I  really do!"  Nino says.

          "It is okay, I will be alright."  Adrien says.  He goes home.  He sits on his bed and thinks,  Marinette, why?  Why will you not listen to Alya?  Why not give me a chance?   Why?  Oh, Marinette!  I will never leave you.  I will never cheat on you because you are the girl I love!  

           After Adrien leaves, Alya begins to head home herself, but Nino offers her his arm.  He takes her arm in his and  says,  "Alya, I need to ask you something!"

           "Oh, and what might that be Nino?"  Alya ask.

        "Will you go out with me?  I mean like on a date!"  Nino says.

        "Sure, Nino!  I would love too!"  Alya says. She kisses his cheek and watches him blush.

       "Wow, Alya you know how to make a guy blush!  Anyway, so we go out Friday at 6?"  Nino says.

        "Yes, Friday at 6 pm is good!  See ya then!"  Alya says.

         "Yes, see ya!"  Nino says.  He goes home.

            Alya goes her separate way to her house.  All the while she feels sorry for Adrien since he is her sort, boyfriend's  best friend and he likes her best friend. She thinks, I must find a way to make Adrienette happen.   How?  It will not be easy when Marinette does want to give the guy a single chance!  Not even one!   Good day, this will be harder than she thought!
