He ran to the Ferris wheel and he just got to it before they closed the gate to leave. "Please one ride?" "Kid I got other things to do." "Please sir!" "No." "Nico let me try." I turned around and snapped a few times. I turned back around. "Sir please just one ride?" I batted my eyelashes as I used charmspeak. His eyes rolled back and he opened the gate. I moved my hand over my body and the makeup and dress disappeared. Nico opened the seat and let me in. The man started the ride as soon as Nico shut the door. The lights came on across the park and my eyes widened. It was beautiful! All the colorful lights and rides. Just beautiful. It was just us on the ride so we were alone he was sitting on the opposite side of me. "Why are you over there?" "Cause, trust me, you don't want me over there." "Please?" "Fine." He stood up slowly and walked over to me and sat down. The cart thing tipped back. "Woah!" "See that's why." He stood back up. I pulled him back down. "It's ok I don't care" "Your scared aren't you?" "A little" he sat back down and held my hand. I smiled. He kissed my cheek and I laid my head on his shoulder. He laid he his head on mine. Sadly I fell asleep. The ride was so much fun and I was comfortable. When I woke up tho we were still on the ride it still going. Nico was on one bench lying down with his hands under his head and I was the same way. I stood to quick that the cart tipped and Nico rolled off onto the floor. "Ow" "Sorry I didn't mean to wake you!" "It's fine I did it to you" "We need to go" I said looking down at the man with his eyes still rolled back. I yelled to the man: "TURN OFF THE RIDE ONCE WE GET TO THE BOTTOM!" Which was close. He did what I said and his eyes came back. "What the?" "Are you alright sir? You've been here all night" "I- I'm fine" he said just walking away. "Chiron's gonna kill us" "I can 'persuade' him" "That might work" we walked out of the gates and across the street to the side walk. We kept talking about the rides and Jesse and we were laughing until I stopped short. Farther down I could someone I knew. Someone I didn't want to see or meet again. Her name is Nadia Groce. She came strolling down the street. "What are you doing here?" She asked. "I came to see what it was like here" "Well leave we dont want you here" "Walk yourself home we don't need anymore trash on the streets" "I'm just break this up before anything happens" Nico said. "Ooh who's this?" "I'm Nico" "Nadia your pretty cute" I couldn't believe it. She was flirting with my brother. I charged her. I tackled her and started punching her. She rolled me over and slapped me a couple times and I got one of my legs loose so I corndogged her. She got off of me and I busted her lip ,kicked her in the side, spat on her, then left. (If any of you think that was too harsh read the second chapter of my rant book). I dusted off my hands and started walking. "Nico you coming?" "Sorry hate to ask but why did you do that?" "I have a feeling she need it" "That's not good enough" I had a sudden flashback from when I brought Will to my future. The clip. The reed. Nadia. Nadia caused something. That's what it was telling me. Nadia caused something to one of my friends. I need to train not to use my powers and cheat on things like I did with Jesse. This is gonna be hard. I grabbed Nico's hand and shadow traveled to the woods. My favorite spot. A low arched tree branch that went all the way up the tree then at the top showed you the whole camp. I walked back to the hill and saw something unusual. Everybody was running around the  fighting arena. Everybody. I saw Pollux, Sophie, Andrew, Max, Percy, and surprisingly I saw Leo. "Oh yeah chariot race is tomorrow." Nico stated. "The what?" "Chariot race. You team up with someone and fight against the others your allowed three weapons and someone has to drive." "Ooh sounds fun" "Want to be my partner? Normally they don't ask me so I'm usually on my own." "Sure I was going to ask the same thing cause I figured you had more experience than I did" "Let's get going" "Wait do they make you run?" "No it's their choice" "Good"
