Chapter – 10

Aadhya POV:

I entered the building and directly went to the top floor for my cabin.

I picked up the file and went to conference room 2.

Rahul and Priya my secretaries were waiting outside the room for me.

I nodded my head and Rahul opened the door of the room. I stepped in.

Everyone’s eyes went down and everyone stood up from their seats. I took a glance through the whole conference room. After being satisfied that everyone was there I took my seat at the position of the Ceo comfortable and signalled to everyone to take their seats.

The clients knew very well my nature and power.

I could even refuse the deal at the very moment I entered the conference room if I didn’t like anything. I knew I am getting to my old self I was not the easy-going person as I was for the past 2 months. I was back to my cold self.

I looked through the file and asked

“Shall we start?”

Clients just nodded with big smiles on their faces.

I knew why they were happy. They were happy because they got the appointment of Ms Aadhya Sharma. Very few people got the chance of meeting me because I deal with every project via my employees or secretaries.

In the past 2 months, I only met with 5 businessmen (clients).

And of course, they will be on the 9th cloud if they got the deal because it's not possible for all.
As the meeting finished

“Thank you so much for your time, Ms Sharma. I heard a lot about you from your brother......” Mr Singh smiled

“We should get back to the deal now Mr Singh,” I said because I knew where this topic was going. If they thought that he will get the deal only because he knew Aadi Bhai then he was completely wrong because I keep my personal and professional life separately.

“So what’s your opinion, Ms Sharma?”Mr Singh asked very uncomfortably

“I need some time to think about it..... My secretary will get to you by evening.” I said finally looking up at his face. Rahul’s head snapped in my direction as soon as he heard what I said. And from his expression I could say that he understood my motive behind the delay.

“We will wait for your answer Miss. Sharma.” He replied

I shook hands with the clients and strode out of the room with Rahul, Priya and my guards following me.
I entered my cabin and went to stand near the big French roof to floor windows.

Someone knocked on my cabin door

“Come in,” I ordered

Priya entered the room with few newspapers and my phone with her.

“Ma’am almost every newspaper has displayed the news of the opening of our new mall, as you wanted.” I nodded

“I hope nobody has posted any bad comments about us.” I asked

“No ma’am and there is no photo of yours as you wanted but one newspaper has published a photo in which only your back was visible.” She replied

“It’s okay. I just don’t want to show my face. I don’t want them to know my identity. It will only create unnecessary problems.” I replied

“Yess ma’am and ma’am Mr Sameer called you some time ago. We were in the meeting so I told him that you will call him later.” She said.

I extended my hand for my phone.

She placed the phone in my hand.

I nodded to her indicating that she can go.

I called Sameer my best friend

“Heyy Sammy. I see you got time to call me.” I said

“OMG see who’s saying this when was the last time you talked with me, your highness?” He asked

“I am in India for the last 2 months. I also sent you the invitation to the inauguration of a new mall in Delhi. And I think you were the one who has a meeting in Switzerland.” I said,

“Yes yes I was the one but I didn’t even know that you are here in India for the last 2 months.” He replied

“It’s okay Yaar leave it and tell me how are you?” I asked

“I am good Aadhya as always tell me how are you and my superhero and my princess?” He said. I knew that he had a very big smile on his face.

“I am good as well Yaar and your superhero and princess are also good. But they were missing their chachu. I told him

“Aww. I miss them too.” He said

“So when are you coming to Delhi?” I asked.

“Probably next Monday yaar. You know my wedding date is coming near and I want you to meet my sweet, beautiful, fiancé” He said

“Yup I know and please stop grinning like an idiot there,” I said

“You know me very well Aadhya.” He laughed

“Of course I know you very well after all I am your best friend” I replied

“Yes, my best friend.” He replied

“Oh, you know what? I saw Aahanas YouTube channel. And I must say she is damn good bro!”He said
“Obviously, beti kiski hai.?” I said playfully

“Beti kisiki bhi ho bhanji to meri hi hai.” He replied and laughed.

I also laughed.

“Okay Samy you better send me the time of your flight before next Monday I will be there to pick you up and you will be staying with us. Dare you book any hotel room.” I told him

“Yess your highness.” He replied

“Hmmm. If you didn’t then you have to face the wrath of the great Aadhya Sharma.” I replied and he giggled

“I know,” He said

“Okay bye see you on Monday,” I replied

“Hmm see you on Monday bro love you.” He said

“Love you too,” I replied and ended the call.

I went to my chair being my desk in my office and started going through the files.

Then I remembered something and called Priya in my office.

She knocked on the door within few seconds of my call.

“Come in,” I ordered

“Yess ma’am.” She asked

“Priya yesterday we got an email from a Youtuber with a channel named Sara’s world about the meeting with Aahana,” I said

“Yes ma’am,” She said

“Hmm, call her and fix my meeting with her tomorrow. Invite her here in the office.” I said

“Okay, ma’am.” She said and left the room

In the evening (Aahana enterprises)

I was furious as hell. How dare he do something like this with Aadhya Sharma.

I called every employee in the hall.

I went to the hall and all the staff was present there according to my order.

“Who the hell leaked the details of the new project with Arora companies.?” I asked

“I want the person to come out in the next 2 minutes,” I said in my dangerously calm voice.

Everyone was shivering by now.

“Ma’am are...... you sure.... the news.....” Priya asked stuttering in

her words went back in her mouth when I glared at her...

“Everyone should know very well that I never take any action until or unless I am sure enough..” I shouted
Priya dipped her head down

“These details are leaked to Arora companies today itself... I want the person who is responsible for this within 2 minutes.” I said again

No one dared to come out

“No one wants to come out okay I will get to know the name from my sources in half an hour but the result will be more dangerous then.” I threatened

Everybody’s breath choked in their throat.

They knew that it was not an empty threat.

I could do this and had already done this in my previous office.

A man came out dipping his head knowing there is no escape for him.

“Ma’am I will not do this again please ma’am give me one last chance please ma’am I am sorry.” He said
I smirked

“I am here for the past 2 months and still Mr Sinha you didn't know that the words like sorry and second chance are not present in my dictionary and I hate these words,” I said

“Rahul” I called

Rahul gave me a paper

“Please ma’am one last chance.” Mr Sinha said

“You are fired Mr. Arun Sinha not only for leaking information but also for asking second chance. Now go to your house or wherever you want and rest or plan where you want to shift now because no other company will give you the job in Delhi.” I said

“Now everyone can see what will be the outcome of betraying Aadhya Sharma. And next time the outcome will be more brutal.” I said and went to my office.

Vihhan’s pov

I rechecked some files and was ready to sleep.

I changed into my pajamas and lied down on my comfy bed.

I closed my eyes but again and again, her face was coming to my mind.

Why, why did you left me.

I can’t live without you anymore

I missed you so much. I miss you still I miss my aadu who used to come running in my arms if we can’t meet even for one day. I missed the aadu who used to annoy me when she used to say my name at least 100s of times Vihhan this Vihaan that. I missed my aadu.

Aadu you don’t know how much you hurt me when I met you in your office. I just wanted to trap you in my arms. I wanted to feel you near me once again.

Your blank eyes haunted me aadu. You didn’t even show any emotion on seeing me. You have changed aadu. Please come back to me. I love you aadu.

Nobody can take your place in my life aadu.

I still remembered the day when I first saw you.

Flashback

It was 1st day of the 9th class. Everyone was excited but I was not happy. I didn’t want to come to school because I didn’t have any real friends. Although I had a lot of people who used to like me, I never had anyone with whom I could share my secrets.

I was sad because all those who used to call themselves my friend only wanted fame and popularity. They all wanted to become the friend of Vihaan Malhotra but nobody wanted to be the friend of Vihaan only.
I was sitting on my regular bench alone as usual when the teacher entered.

“Hello students, how was everybody’s holidays?” She asked

“Good miss” Everyone replied except me because I didn’t have any friends with whom I could enjoy my holidays.

“We have a new student joining you all today so please welcome Aadhya Sharma.”

She said and everyone’s eyes were fixed on the door of the class to see who was the new student.

I also looked towards the door and the moment you stepped into the class I was mesmerized. I was hoping that you might be different from all these students.

Every boy was looking at you like you were some princess. And every girl was looking jealous.

I noticed that you were so cute and beautiful. You were wearing a well-ironed school uniform, your long dark brown hairs were tied in two braids. You had a small innocent smile on your face.

“Aadhya tell everyone something about you.”

The teacher said

“Hello everyone as you all know my name is Aadhya and I am 13 years old. My mom’s name is Mrs. Siya Sharma, my dad’s name is Mr. Ram Sharma. I have an older brother Aditya Sharma who’s in class 12. My hobbies are reading books, acting and speaking. My favorite subject is Maths.”

You said in your sweet voice.

“Okay, class I want everyone to help Aadhya in adjusting to the school. I want everyone to be good friends with Aadhya.” The teacher said

“Yes miss,” Everyone said in unison

“Okay, Aadhya go and sit with Vihaan. Vihaan raise your hand.” The teacher said

I raised my hand so that you can locate me.

You smiled at me and came and sat beside me.

“Hello, Vihaan.” You said smiling

“Hi” I replied shortly

“Tell me about yourself,” You said

“Well I am Vihaan Malhotra. My dad’s name is Mr. Veer Malhotra and my mom’s name is Mrs. Nyonika Malhotra. My dad is a big businessman.” I replied.

“I didn’t ask you to tell me something about your dad. I asked you to tell me something about yourself. I know who Mr. Malhotra is but that didn’t tell me anything about you.” You said. And I smiled.

And I was amazed. I was feeling happy that I found the person whom I was searching for all those years.
“Well, I am 14 years old. I have a younger brother. My hobbies are reading and playing basketball. I also love watching movies. My favorite subject is maths also. My favorite color is blue.” I said and your eyes twinkled

“Well, we already have 3 things in common. I also love watching movies and my favorite subject is Math’s. My favorite color is blue too.” You said happily

“So friends?” I asked extending my hand for a handshake.

“Sure friends.” You said and we shook hands.

That was the best day of my life because on that day I got you.

A tear rolled down my cheek on remembering those memories.

Why Aadu why did you left me?
