Marcus's POV

I clenched my fists as Douglas shot a ray towards the three I had teamed up with. I had to keep my cover, so that meant not rushing over there to aid in their defense. I watched the scene play out in front me; Bree used her super speed to pull Adam behind Chase. He used his force field to block the ray in a split second. Once it flew in the opposite direction, he dropped his hands with a knowing smirk.

"Did you really think it would be that easy?" He scoffed, as he over powered Douglas with his molecular kinesis. With one swift swing of his arm, the ray gun hit a nearby tree and broke into shards. I shifted my stare to Douglas who had extended his hand towards me.

I stared up at the sky, waiting for him to stop humiliating himself. I thought that would've stopped after I saw his One Direction t-shirt, but I was apparently wrong. He huffed and turned towards me in anger. "You're just going to leave your creator hanging like that?" I held up my hands in defense, with feign shock written across my face.

"Weren't you the one who instructed me not to bring any weapons?" I cooed sarcastically. He let out a frustrated groan as he spun around to the others. I tried to hide my smiling countenance, as we all played with our creator.

"Alright, you three win. What do you want? More answers?" He screamed at them, while clenching his fists. I nodded before striding over to him and yanking his arm firmly in my hands. With that, I sped off with my super speed along with the other three. Douglas screamed hysterically, as I exchanged a quick glance over their way as I tried to keep up with Bree.

"Marcus!" He screamed up to me, while beating his fists onto my chest like an infant. I rolled my eyes and shifted my focus to the forest that currently engulfed us all. Chase flinched suddenly and Bree looked to him. Out of the corner of my eye I saw something flash in the distance.

"What was that?" Chase said cautiously. Bree and I both stopped, wondering the same thing. I knew it couldn't be a what but a who nothing could move that fast; except for Bree and I.

"Who was that?" I called hoping whoever it was would show themselves. We needed all the help we could get.

Leo's POV

"Leo go behind that tree, I need to see if that's them." Big D said under his breath. My new bionic hearing could pick up practically anything if I was listening for it. I nodded as I hid behind one of the many trees that were out here. I would've said something that was hilariously sarcastic like "which one", but I knew that this was a mission. I scanned the area when I saw one thing that I thought I would never see again.

"Marcus" I growled under my breath. Suddenly, Marcus started looking around as if there was something that he was looking for.

"Who was that?" He called to the forest. My eyes got wide, thinking that he might have saw me.

"Shit!" I muttered as I hid behind the tree again. Big D looked to me in confusion as I shifted my stare towards him.

"What? What happened? What's going on? Are they there?" Big D questioned as he tried to peer over the tree to analyze the situation. I yanked him back behind the tree.

"Big D! You're going to blow the mission! I think they might have seen us." I said trying to keep my voice down. I looked back over the tree to see all of them doing the same thing as Marcus was a few seconds ago. Douglas looked towards Marcus, rolling his eyes in the process.

"Or, what, was it? Think logically Marcus. That couldn't have been a person." I nodded as I turned back around to Big D. Who flailed his arms in confusion. Now it was my turn to roll my eyes at the little man. Hey, I'm almost taller than him. I grew 1 and a half inches since they were gone, and I'm proud of it!

"Will you stop that!" I hissed as I grabbed his arms and put them back into place. "Don't get your leopard print panties in a bunch!" He crossed his arms, and sighed.

"Well will you just tell me what you saw already?" I held my hands up and huffed.

"Will you let me continue?" He stared blankly at me, which meant he was ready. "Ok, your children are there. Along with Douglas. And I know who the bionic help is." I paused for dramatic effect before the big reveal. "Brace yourself, I'm not sure if you're ready to hear this." He rolled his eyes and shook me.

"Will you just tell me who it is?!" I slapped his hands off of me.

"Ok, ok! It's Marcus." I waited for a reaction for a few seconds. He laughed and shook his head.

"Looks like there's a few tweaks I need to make with your bionics. It can't be Marcus, ok? That's impossible." I shook my head at him quickly.

"No, no. Big D, it is! I saw him with my own two eyes! It's him! It's the Marcus we all know and hate!" Big D shook his head again and laughed.

"I knew there had to be some things I had to fix, but not this many!" He laughed again and I rolled my eyes.

"Fine I'll prove it to you!" I grabbed his arms and used my super speed to race to the nearest tree that was like ten feet away. Big D looked at me questioningly as he was about to look over the tree. I waved my arms towards the scene of the crime, and he finally took a look for himself. He quickly turned back over and looked as if he were about to scream. I covered up his mouth quickly, because I heard something.

"Did you see that?" Bree said in a panic to Chase. I turned and motioned for Big D to shut up as I lowered my hand from his mouth. We nodded in agreement as we both peered from the tree. Bree motioned over to exactly where we were at and Chase looked over our direction in anger. We both hid before they could see us.

"Who's there!" Chase barked our way. I looked towards Big D to see him listening intently. I looked over the tree. To see Douglas shaking his head.

"Chase it can't be human." Well thanks Uncle Dougy. Chase seethed as he responded to Douglas.

"Did you implant bionics into anyone else?" Douglas tried to take a step back, but Marcus held him in place. I turned quickly to Big D who did the same.

"Leo, I think they're onto us." I rolled my eyes as we both heard Chase whisper to Douglas.

"Well there is a person over there with bionics!" I cut him off there and pointed to what was playing out, as I responded to Big D.

"You think?" He rolled his eyes and grabbed onto my shoulders.

"There about to go, we have to follow them. Can you do that?" I nodded and prepared myself for what was about to go down.

"Let's go." With that I used my super speed to follow quickly behind them. It felt like a high speed car chase; the suspense was killing me. Chase looked back to us in a panic, still not being able to make out our faces.

"Can you two go any faster?" Bree looked as though she was going to fall down in exhaustion; so did Marcus.

"No! I'll overload my chip!" I looked towards Big D waiting for the signal. He nodded towards me, and that's when I knew it was time for mission: Leo Saves the Day. I sped up to catch up with Bree and Marcus. Chase looked over his shoulder, and connected stares with me. I grinned mischievously as shock grew on his face. He shook his head, and yanked Bree to a stop. They all stared at me in disbelief.

"What?"

Marcus's POV

I know this may seem shocking, but I wasn't surprised at the fact that Davenport made Leo bionic. The others on the other hand, they had no idea this was coming. Chase stared at Davenport looking for an explanation.

"In my defense, you three could have been dead." he defended as he patted Leo on the back. Douglas looked at him in shock, as he stomped over to his brother.

"Donny!" I looked off to see the cliff, and knew that it was time. I walked over to the other side to where my team was. Leo looked at me in disbelief as we crossed paths. Once I stopped I stared back at him.

"Hey Leo." He crossed his arms and glared at me.

"What do you want Marcus?" I sighed, knowing that he would probably hate me for a long time even if he knew I was on the other side now. I stared at Bree to help me. She gave me a quick nod, and adjusted herself to look at Leo.

"He's on our side, Leo." Before he could respond, Douglas and Davenport halted whatever conversation they were having to stare at me. I grinned slightly at the sight.

"What?!" They both yelled in unison. Douglas pointed towards me in anger.

"You double crossed me!" He looked down on me, with his nostrils flaring in anger. I nodded before I stormed over to him, giving him a swift punch in the stomach. He grunted as he curled into himself. Looks like I'm not your lackey anymore.

"Shocker. I only saved you, so I could get rid of you myself. Sorry, Chase. But he's better off dead than frozen in a block of ice." I seethed down to Douglas. He glared up at me with a
look of betrayal on his face. I looked towards Chase quickly, and he nodded in approval.

"By all means." A small smile grew on his face and I turned back to the enemy. I had waited for this moment for a long time; too long. He stared up at me again, but this time his face expressed fear. Fear of what was coming next.

"So wait, you three teamed up with Marcus?" Davenport exclaimed with caution. I ignored him, as I peered down to Douglas. He shook his head in silence, and I ignored that too. I yanked him up by the collar of his shirt, and threw him to the edge of the cliff. The only thing on my mind right now was killing Douglas. I connected eyes with him as he looked behind him to see that he had no where to go but down. All of a sudden I felt a sudden breeze pass through me. I turned to see Leo looking glaring down at me. Davenport looked towards Douglas who was still struggling at the edge as Leo pulled me away.

"I can take it from here." Davenport said with anger. I looked towards Leo again as he used his super speed to take us from them.

"What are you doing?" I said to him with a hint of fear in my voice.

"It's about time you get what you deserve." I shook my head cautiously. A battle like this could send me over the edge.

"Leo, please. I know that I've done a lot of bad things, but I'm willing to fix it all if you give me a chance." He laughed and shook his head.

"It's too late for that Marcus." With that, he threw a punch my way. I dodged it quickly and held my hands up.

"Leo, I'm on your side! I'm trying to tell you I'm sorry! Will you forgive me?" He paused to look at me. He seemed genuine.

"Let me think about it..." He paused, and for a split second and I thought it was over; until he kicked me in the chest, sending me flying to the ground. I landed with a grunt as he responded.

"No." He threw a fireball that was aimed for my face. My eyes got wide as I dodged it quickly. It hit a nearby tree, which caught into flames. I used my kinesis to choke out the flame before it spread. I tried to lift myself up, but one of my legs gave out. I was starting to die. He threw more fireballs at me, and I put up my force field to block them.

"You don't need to do this Leo." Surprisingly my tone sounded normal even though I was on the verge of death. Leo shook his head in response.

"After all the times you've tried to kill me, I think I do." I knew he was right, but he didn't know what he was doing. He disappeared suddenly, out of my sight. Either I was hallucinating, or he literally disappeared. I got up and look from to my right; nothing. I turned quickly to my left to see him staring with wide eyes at me, just centimeters away from my face. I flinched, and held in a scream.

"How the hell did you do that?" I knew he was sneaky, but not that sneaky. He grabbed onto my shoulder tightly.

"Geoleaping." I groaned in response before he continued. "Bet you didn't see that one coming, did you captain eyebrows?" He threw me to the ground in one steady move. I lifted my head shakily trying to find Leo; he must've geoleaped again. I looked over to the other major fight that had been happening. Davenport had backed Douglas to the very edge of the cliff. He had him by the collar of his shirt.

"I hope you have the worst ending imaginable after what you've done to this family. What you've done to me. Goodbye, Douglas." He let go of the collar of his shirt. Douglas stumbled backwards, and began to panic. It was completely silent as he fell to his death. I flipped over on my back and sighed in relief as I looked up to the sky. That was one less thing I had to worry about.

I got up and looked around for Leo. He geoleaped a few feet away from me. He threw a few more fireballs my way, and I tried to block them. My force field began to short circuit to the point where it was too weak to work. I tried to walk towards him, but he lifted me up in the air with his molecular kinesis and threw me down to the ground again.

He walked towards me, and I held up my hand to try to stop him. I tried to get up but he held me down with his molecular kinesis. I tried one last time, but he forced harder. It felt as though a cement block was on my chest. Parts of my body began to completely give out; my other leg and my arms felt like nothing.

"Leo! Stop!" I pleaded with my last burst of energy. My voice revealed my robotic infrastructure. Leo thrusted his hand towards me again with more energy than I could handle.

"Leo, no! Marcus is dying!" Bree stopped him and he stared at me with wide eyes. He stopped abruptly and backed away from me. Bree ran up to Davenport.

"Mr. Davenport! You have to get him into another body! Can't you do that!" Her voice was shaky as tears fell down her face. I looked to all of them, they all looked at me with worry.

"It was a good plan Bree. But I can't hold on much longer." I said with what little breath I had. She stared at me one last time, and I shook my head. My vision tunneled; I could feel my eyes start to roll to the back of my head. The last thing I saw was Leo picking me up, and then there was nothing.
