A/N:
The little cottage on the lake.

Just before she reached the lake Hadley sent her horse back home so she wouldn't be eaten by the wolves. When she reached the edge of the water she turned around to see that she was surrounded by huge, snarling wolves. Hadley started backing up until she tripped and fell into the lake. They started closing in. Hadley turned her head to the side to find the girl standing on a rock looking curiously down at her. She jumped down off the rock at stood in between Hadley and the wolves. She asked Hadley who she was.
"I am Princess Hadley of the kingdom of Sola. What is your name."
The girl looked at her fearfully since the witch had always said that Sola was corrupt and that the leaders were tyrants. The wolves got closer to the girl sensing her fear. She answered quietly. "My name is Maisha and why are you here.
"I am here because I am trying to find my sister."
"Who is your sister?"
"That's horrible but why are you here? I'm the only person here other than my mother." No matter what her mother said Maisha felt bad for the girl.
"My mom said she was taken by a witch and there are rumors that a witch lives here."
"My mother is not a witch!"
"I never said she was. It was just a rumor."
"That's at least a little better. I have an idea!"
"What?
"How about I help you find her."
"But would your mother let you leave the lake."
"Oh no of course not I mean that I will try to find her around the lake."
"That's a great idea!"
"Thanks!"
"I'm sorry but I have to go."
"Why?"
"My parents don't exactly know that I came here so I need to get back before they become suspicious."
"Okay bye."
She had the wolves let Hadley go. Hadley walked all the way back to the castle. She snuck into her room and got changed for dinner.
