In the Shinobi World, Pikachu slowly wakes up from his slumber on the hospital bed, he looked around and notice it was just him and Sylveon in the room.

Pikachu: ... Sylveon...

When he slowly sat up on his bed, he looked at his girlfriend still sleeping on the hospital bed besides his.

Pikachu ... You're a fool, Pikachu... How could you have lost against him...?

He looked down while clenching his own paws out of anger towards himself, but he didn't notice her slowly waking up from her sleep.

Pikachu: ... It's... It's my entire fault that I lost...

Sylveon: You lost?

His eyes widen in shock before he saw her staring at him with a shocked look on her face, he then looked down and started crying.

Pikachu: *Cries* I-I'm sorry... I couldn't keep my promise...

Sylveon: Huh? What are you talking about?

Pikachu: I promised you that I will win... but I lost in my first match in the Finals... I'm very weak...

Sylveon starts smiling when she heard what Pikachu said before she got off her hospital bed and then got up on his before she starts cuddling him from behind.

Sylveon: Oh my silly Pikachu~ I said to do your best, not to win. Naruto said that it doesn't matter if we win as long as we give our best. I can tell you already did your best so you've already fulfill your promise.

Pikachu: *Blushes* Sylveon... Th-Thank you...

The two of them starts nuzzling each other until someone came into the Medic Room where they are in, it was Sai who came in while bringing some Bento lunches.

Sai: Oh? You two finally woke up.

Pikachu: *Blushes madly* S-Sai-sensei!! Th-This is not what it looks like!!

Sai: Well I'm just glad you two finally awake, I just got back from buying you two some Bento lunches.

Sylveon: Ummm.... Sai-sensei? Have you seen Ash anywhere?

Sai: Ash? He's out there in the Finals Arena facing his Eighth Match against Boruto.

Pikachu: Eighth?! Could it be that—

Sai: Correct, he made it all the way to the top and he is fighting for both of you.

Meanwhile, Ash and Boruto were pushing each other while their hands are cloaked with lightning sparks.

Boruto: You're very persistent, aren't you, Ash?!

Ash: I can say the same to you, Boruto! And I'll be borrowing this!

Ash starts making some hand signs with the help of Boruto's hand before he head butts him away.

Boruto: Ouch!

Ash: (Ouch... I just remember he wears a headband and I don't...) Wind Style: Wind Wall!!

A big gust of wind blows out of Ash's palms and it's headed towards Boruto who is making some hand signs to prepare his jutsu.

Boruto: (I'm borrowing your jutsu, old man) Earth Style: Mud Wall!

When Boruto puts his palms on the floor, a big wall made out of hard mud grows out of the ground in front of him and protects him from the wind wall.

Boruto: Fyuh... too close.

In the Pokemon World, the two trainers on the battle stage were thinking of a strategy in the battle they are in.

N: Reshiram! Use Dragon Breath!

Sasuke: Chairo! Grass Wall!

Chairo quickly put his palms on the ground before a thick wall of grass appeared in front of him just in time before Reshiram's dragon breath hits him.

N: Oh? What an unusual move he has.

Sasuke: I made him learn to manipulate and recreate a new move out of his own type.

N: Fascinating. Reshiram! Use Slash!

Reshiram's claws starts so glow before she slash the grass wall into two, but Chairo wasn't behind the wall anymore.

Reshiram: Huh? He's gone?

Chairo: Don't let your guard down!

Sasuke: Now! Use Shadow Sneak!

Suddenly, Chairo came out of the shadow under Reshiram before he starts punching and head butting her stomach before hopping away from her.

Reshiram: Ouch... you pack some strong punch there dear, almost as strong as the legendary trio from Unova region.

Chairo: I respect your appreciation, but don't think I can go soft because of a compliment!

N: Reshiram! Use Ancient Power!

Some floating and glowing rocks appeared floating around Reshiram before she shoots the rocks forward right towards Chairo

Sasuke: Chairo! Night Slash the attack!

A black aura surrounds Chairo's paws and shapes itself into dark claws before he use it to cuts the rocks away from him.

Chairo: *Pants* Those are some rocks there...

N: Reshiram! Go for Slash!

Reshiram fly towards Chairo and swings her glowing claws towards Chairo, but he manages to stop her from attacking him by using his Night Slash.

Chairo: (Sh-She's too heavy for me to keep on hold!!)

Sasuke: Chairo! Use Foul Play!

Chairo quickly jumps away from Reshiram's slash before he put his paw on her muzzle and blast her away with a dark aura.

N: Reshiram!!

Chairo: (Good thing that move calculates based on the enemy's power)

Sasuke: Good work, Chairo.

Reshiram:*Whimpers a bit*

N: *Sigh* It looks like I underestimate your pokemon's power, very sorry for that.

Sasuke: Well you can make it up by taking this seriously.

N: Is that so? In that case, I'll oblige. Reshiram! Use Fusion Flare!!

Flames start to form around Reshiram before she raises her head and a big ball of flames appeared above her and she shoots it down towards Chairo.

Chairo: (I-I can feel the heat even from here!!)

Sasuke: (That heat is too intense!!) Chairo! Use Protect!

Chairo quickly forms a dome around him to protect himself from the Fusion Flare. Even know he didn't got hit, he could still feel the overheat from the attack.

Chairo: (T-Too hot!!)

N: Reshiram! Go for Extrasensory!

A multicolored beam starts to shoot out from Reshiram's forehead and it lifted Chairo up into the air then slams him down on the ground.

Sasuke: Chairo!

N: Now! Use Dragon Tail!

Reshiram fly towards Chairo before she slams her big tail down at Chairo as hard as possible.

In the Shinobi World, Boruto was still standing behind the mud wall he created while thinking of a strategy.

Boruto: (Think Boruto! How am I supposed to beat Ash if he has the same type of elements as mine?)

Suddenly a shuriken came flying down right in front of Boruto, he quickly noticed the shuriken is marked.

Boruto: Not this again!

Just when Boruto hops away, he saw that was teleporting in front of him was not Ash but a bundle of paper bombs and an active explosive kunai.

Boruto: What?! No way!!

Explosions soon started and it goes on rapidly right in front of Boruto and the mud wall soon brakes by the impact of the explosions.

Ash: Hehe, he knew I would teleport myself to attack him straight forward, so I teleported those explosives instead.

Boruto: Don't get too cocky...

When they smokes that appeared because of the explosions slowly vanished, they all saw Boruto was still standing and his right arm has blue glowing pattern covering it and the pattern also reaches around his right eye that already turns into a Jougan. This made everyone around the arena shocked.

Sarada: Ah! That seal!

Naruto: No way... he activated his Karma Seal again.

Ash: Wow, I didn't know you have this kind of power.

Boruto: Well this only appears in an emergency and it looks like it appeared just time.

Boruto brings his right hand forward before the seal suddenly blasts the explosions that happened before towards Ash.

Ash: (He absorbs my explosives?!)

Ash quickly jumps away and the explosion only hits Ash's feet and made him wincing in pain.

Ash: D-Dang it.

Boruto: Sorry if I'm going too hard on you, Ash.

Ash: It's alright, I actually wanted you to not go easy on me. (So he could absorb long range or non-contact attacks, I better not let my jutsu hit his right hand then)

Lightning power starts to form on Ash's leg before he dashes towards Boruto and starts doing a hand o hand combat with him.

Boruto: Try to avoid me absorbing your jutsu huh?

Ash: Yeah!

Boruto: Wind Style: Gale Palm!

Boruto puts his palm on Ash's chest before sending him flying across the arena but he manages to lands safely but the attack was a bit painful to handle.

Ash: (H-He's too intense to handle, what should I do?)

When Ash holds his chest out of pain, he soon notices the jacket he was wearing. He then remembers something about the jacket he wears.

Ash: (Wait, Rax told me something about this jacket. He said it has an enormous power once I zipped it. Have to do it half zipped then)

In the Pokemon World, Reshiram lifts her tail away only to reveal Chairo was lying there, wounded.

Sasuke: Chairo...

N: It hurts me to see your Chespin struggling to fight Reshiram.

Sasuke: *Clench his fists* (Chairo... Why didn't you let me switch you with someone else? You would still be saved...)

Chairo: You believe in me.... Right...?

Everyone around the battle stage was shocked to see Chairo was slowly getting up on his feet again, he was still able to stand despite how many wounds he got.

Announcer: Wow!! Sasuke's Chespin is still able to get up on his feet!!

N: N-No way...

Sasuke: Chairo... You...

Chairo: You believe in me, right Master...? Then why did you give me that look...?

N: Why... Why are you still fighting, Chespin?!

Chairo: *Looks at N* You can understand me, right? *Pants* Why am I still fighting? Because I used to be alone with no one or anything to help me, my life wasn't comfortable back then.

N: What's that got to do with this battle?!

Chairo: Hehe, because since I met Master Sasuke... He provided me with everything I could ever dream of. Great friends, good food, comfy place to stay, and powers to protect myself. And that's why I will show my appreciation to him... by winning this battle!!

The words that Chairo speak up made Sasuke, Reshiram, and N shocked by how loyal he is. This makes Sasuke cried a bit before he wipes his tears away.

Sasuke: Chairo, I have to be honest... That's the most thoughtful thing you ever said to me.

N: This is... beautiful. So this is the source of your power, a great bond and loyalty towards your comrade. I envy you, Sasuke.

Sasuke: Thank you. Chairo? Can you still fight?

Chairo smiles at Sasuke before he starts glowing brightly, he actually use Syynthesisto heals his wounds.

Chairo: I... I can still fight!!

The whole audience starts cheering loudly again knowing the battle is still on-going and about to heated up.

Serena: Thank goodness he is safe.

Bonnie: Alright! He is sure to win, right brother?

The girls notice Clemont didn't pay attention to the match, he was checking a radar that he is holding on his hands.

Bonnie: Brother? Is something wrong?

Clemont: Huh? There's something odd going on...

Serena: What do you mean?

Clemont: My radar shows some type of anomaly of some type of light pressure going on around here.

Serena: Pressure? Like a quake?

Clemont: Yeah, but only lights ones however.

Bonnie: Oh you're just being paranoid, Brother. We are in Driftveil city and it is a town full of mines.

Clemont: That is true, but somehow the pressure is out of place and even occurs outside the city.

Serena: Outside the city?

Clemont: Yeah, somehow it appears around Nimbassa City and Giant Chasm.

Bonnie: Look, how about we worry about this thing later? We have to cheer for Sasuke! He's about to show this person who's boss!!

Clemont: Well... if you say so.
