Al ran towards the crime scene. He yelled exhaustedly, "Kelly!!"

Dr. Kelly Spencer took of her face mask and walk towards Detective Al. She's curiously asked, "What's it Al?"

"Kelly I need you to look at this for me". Al pulled the piece of paper from his pocket (the paper where the motel manager wrote the killer's name)and showed it to Dr. Kelly.

Kelly read it, and muttered to herself, "Danté Alighieri...". She gazed towards Al's exhausted and puzzled face and then asked, "What's with Danté Alighieri?", the doctor sarcastically chuckled in curiousity.

"That's it! You know him right? I remember you mentioning this name before! Kelly, this is the name of the killer!"

Kelly laughed but she tried to contained herself, look down on the floor and continued to chuckle. She then replied, "You're telling me, that a long dead AUTHOR, killed these victims, that's what you're telling me Al?", she then continued to chuckle.

Al was embarrassed of himself. He blushed, look down on the floor, while laughing sarcastically. He muttered, blushing, "Shit... that's quite... embarrassing.."

Kelly laughed while looking towards the blushing detective's face. She contained herself after, and then said, "The Divine Comedy.. that's his most notable work.."

Al's facial expression had changed into a very serious look, upon hearing Dr. Kelly's words. He replied in a very serious tone, "What's about that book Kelly?"

Kelly looked away, chinned up, trying to recall about what she knows about the book. She sighed then replied, "Well, we studied that book as part of our Philosophy class requirements during my college years. Hmmmm.. it's about Theology. It's a story of Dante's travel in Heaven, Purgatory, and HELL. Sin... Punishments... God. I can't totally recall whole book, but there's a place called library to find what it's all about. Right Al?", she then smiled towards Al.

Al smiled back a bit and then breathed deeply. "One last thing Kelly, I want you to show something..". From his jacket suit pocket, he pulled a small resealable plastic bag that contains the RIDDLE (the piece of paper) that the killer left on the crime scene. Al showed it to Dr. Kelly, "Do you have an idea about this riddle?"

(The Riddle: "In the darkness of CIRCLE TWO, souls are blown around endlessly by the winds of UNQUENCHABLE DESIRE.")

Kelly read it carefully and then began to think. "Circle two.... blown around by.... winds of unquenchable desire.. hmmmm..", Dr. Kelly replied, then sighed deeply. "It's a quote from the book, Al .... from the Divine Comedy. I'm not sure what part of the book it'd appeared exactly, but I am sure that the word CIRCLE there, refers to the Nine Circles of Hell according to Danté Alighieri, where sinners were PUNISHED and TORTURED, depending on their committed SINS."

Detectiven Al looked down on the floor again. He massaged his forehead then grinned sarcastically, while slowly wagging his head. He coudn't believe how smart the killer is. He uttered in reply. "So, if there are nine circles of hell created for different types of sin according to Danté, can you recall what's the specific sin for the Second Circle of Hell?"

"I'm not sure...", Dr. Kelly sighed deeply again, and then continued, "... but base on the words UNQUENCHABLE DESIRE.. it could be the Circle of Lust and Adultery... but I'm not sure."

Al's eyes popped out, he embraced Kelly because of the adrenaline rush and then gush enthusiastically, "Oh shit! It is! YESSSSS!", Al continued to yell, "Since David Freud and Lisa Colbert has an intimate affair (though Lisa herself is married) base on the CCTV footages, their SIN, according to the LAW...... is ADULTERY! And the marks on her hands, the letters A and T could be somehow related to ADULTERY. BINGO!"

Kelly was shocked on what she heard. She's not happy on what she heard. In a very serious tone she rebuked Al's enthusiasm, "Al.. can you hear yourself speaking?"

"Why?", Al replied in curiousity.

"A and T, are just two letters of the word ADULTERY. If the killer carved A and T on their hands, and as you said, it's verified that they're connected.. there'll be LETTERS D, U, L, E, R and Y. If your theory is right, that is SIX MORE DEAD BODIES WAITING FOR ALL OF US .... so better HEAR YOURSELF before YOU REJOICE.", the gorgeous African-American doctor intelligently uttered while gazing Al's eyes with a very serious face.

Al was totally silenced. He knew that Kelly's point was totally true.

Detective Fred came and yelled, "Al!!! I have the keys!"

Al and Kelly looked at Fred with a blank stare.

So Fred stopped and asked with a curious tone, "What the hell did I missed?"
