Be Slow but Consistent

You cannot just learn or do something abruptly, just like that! Anything big needs to be done step by step.

Being in continuity with steadiness is what that makes you successful. If you just make excuses each now and then, what benefit you'll going to gain at the very end?

Every time you make an excuse, you're going away from your aim!

So basically, you need to rewind your mind and rethink on the subject matter of your failure. Did you give your hundred percent in whatever field you're now struggling with!? If the answer is No, you know where you stand!

Instead you can do it by baby steps! Not all people can make it at the first attempt. Be patient, alright? And calculate your moves, in whatever way you are lacking, be sure of that then make a move. I am sure you will be surprised at your own flourishing life. Anything big needs time. Just give time some time.
If you're lacking behind, then it's alright, it is just not your time. Every other people are unique in their own way. Each one of them has their own pace. If you make mistakes, then it is okay, people learn from their mistakes. Just be sure that you don't make the same mistake again!

Well, enough with giving lessons! Now it's time share some personal experiences. People are often interested in others lives instead of their own. Now anyone could make an query like, you are giving us lessons, what have you achieved by taking on to this process? Well, I need to certainly answer such questions in advance to save myself from the bombardment!

What I achieved with this process is gaining the ability to some extent so that I am able to perform some austerities that will make me closer to Krishna. Like what? I will give a basic example here though. As, it is really unfeasible to publicly announce about personal life.
Anyway, what I learned performing this step by step process is, rising up early morning (As you might know, no great people have ever born who are late risers. Well, I don't know one, if you do, please inform me).
I used to wake up at 8 o clock in the morning. Just imagine, how easily i was wasting my time. Then, miracle happened! (Though that happens all the time. It is our misfortune that we cannot see. Krishna works in a mysterious way. We just need to focus and realize). I came along some motivational people on earth! Thanks to Krishna and HDG Prabhupada for a wonderful community like ISKCON and it's leaders. While listening to some of their lectures, things changed and visible effects were to be seen. I now wake up around 4:30 am (well, considering my health condition, sometime it does change, but mostly I wake up that early, yes). What I never thought was possible, chanting 16 rounds of harinaam japa(repeating holyname of the lord 108 times as one round) on tulsi beads mala, now it has become a habit as mode of goodness . Yes, still I need to learn many things to be in general (one of which is, never take pride in your achievement) but the good thing is, the process has already started.

Anyway, what i am trying to say is, i didn't achieve that in a day! Nope! I set up my alarm at 6:30 am on the first day. Thereafter, got used to with it for some time. Then switched to 5:30 am similarly and so on.
Now it is up to me that how would I maintain it. Cause, Lord has already done his part, now it is my turn. Well, someone may say, getting up early may get you ill! Indeed, it may, but only when you do not take up to 6 hours of sleep at minimum.

Well, that was for My aim. So, in this way, I suggest you to take your time and focus with baby steps. Do not think about past and future. Thinking about things you've no control over right now, will  only make you worried. Instead focusing on your present can make you successful.

So, do not rush into things. Be slow, however, consistent!

Hare Krishna!
