Emily stared out the window watching the raindrops slowly run down the window. Sighing, she said,

"Mom, are we close?" 

"Not yet, Emily." Her mother sighed.

Sighing, she turned back to her window, maybe speeding up the raindrops will speed up the driving process.

"Mom! I'm hungry!" Emily's spoiled younger brother, James yelled at Mom.

"James! Show some respect!" Emily cried. 

"Just because you're hungry,  doesn't mean you can just yell at our Mom! She is doing her best for us, to get us a home, food, beds, water, everything! You and your stupid toys are only here because of Mom!" Emily screeched.

James looked stunned, then turned his back on her and stared out his window. Sighing, Emily turned back to her window, closed her eyes, and drifted into sleep.
