"It's a girl" the nurse exclaims proudly

Song kang's squeezes my hand tightly and looks into my eyes. He places both my hand and his, and puts it on my tummy.

"We are gonna have a baby girl" he says with a smile

I nod my head and he kisses me on the forehead. The nurse exits giving us some private time alone.

"How have your friends handled all this?" He asks suddenly

I look away from him a moment and say "not well........"

"Have you talked to them in awhile" he says squeezing my hand

"Honestly no not really......I was planning on meeting up with Jae-young today"

"What's about the others?" He says

"I don't think they want to even be friends......" I lower my head down and getting a little upset

I haven't really thought about my friends, and family sense that day. They haven't called or texted me, except for the occasional check up from Jae-young. Jae-young seems to be the only one that cares. And he is trying to help me through this difficult time. I think I will text him and ask him to meet up for some coffee.

The nurse walks back in telling us we can leave, and hands us a picture of the ultrasound. We walk out of the hospital hand in hand, and go to the car. Once we get in I grab my phone and immediately text Jae young.

Me "hey we haven't talked in awhile"

J "ya we haven't, how have you been"

Me "I have been good, but I was wondering if you wanted to go meet up at a coffee shop or something"

J "oh ya sure that sounds great!!"

Me "see you there :)"

We arrive at the coffee shop a few moments later. Song kang's dropped me off and told me he would wait for me at home. I stood in front of the coffee shop, just staring at the big walls, and colors. Then I opened the door which made a little ringing noise.

When I walked in I expected to see Jae- young there....but instead I didn't see him. I guess he was late or he isn't here yet. The weird thing is he is always  early.

I find a little table with two chairs, and decide to go sit there. I check my phone and see if there are any recent messages. Nope non at all. I decide to text song kang while I wait.

Me "hey cutie"

S "no that's you ;)"

Me "I miss you :("

S "I miss you and the baby, is he there yet"

Me "no but I guess he will be here soon"

S "if you want to we could have some fun tonight ;)"

As I read that last message I blush. My face looks like a hot tomato. The waiter asks if I am ok and need some water, but I say no saying that I was just hot. I had to put my phone down and stop texting him, because I didn't know how to respond to that.

When I put my phone down I noticed a ringing from the door, and see Jae- young. He notices me and comes to sit down in the seat in-front of me.

"So how have you been" I ask

"Good" is all he said

In my opinion he seemed a bit different. A little off.

"Are the others still mad?!!" I say with a bit of panic in my voice

"Ya....that's all they talk about at lunch, but if you ask me they just miss you but don't want to talk to you" he gives me a warm smile

That made me feel a bit better. The waiter comes by and asks us what to drink.

"An iced white chocolate mocha please"

"A black coffee" Jae-young says dryly

"Alright your order will be ready soon" the waiter smiles brightly and walks off

I shuffle a little in my chair feeling a bit uncomfortable. Jae-young has never acted like this before. He usually is so sweet and charming, and never says stuff dryly.

"We found out the gender of the baby" I say suddenly

Jae-young looks at me with a bit of shock

"It has been that long already? What's the gender?" He also shuffles a little in his chair

"It's  a girl, and it's been a good 3 months" I reply

Jae-young suddenly turns really serious and says "why haven't you been at school?!?"

I was a little taken aback from this. To be honest I have been getting home school by song kang's old homeschooling teacher.

"I have been homeschooled but I am gonna come back....:some stuff happened" I turn away from him and look at the floor

I hate when people feel bad for me. But I can't believe it's been 3 months sense I left my house. My mom hasn't  even tried to contact me sense then.

The waiter comes back with our coffee and i take a big sip from it. Jae-young takes his and drinks a little from time to time.

"Hey y/n I missed you" Jae-young says suddenly

"I missed you to" I say with a smile.

We both get up from our chair and give each other a hug. I missed him to much. We walk out the store next to each other and he drives me home. When we are in the car he seems to relax a little more. Like a weight was lifted off his shoulders.

We arrived at song kang's house and he drops me off. We wave goodbye to each other and I walk in. It's a little quiet in the house, mostly because it's eight at night. As I am walking upstairs I see a shadowy figure in the door view.

As I get a closer look I notice it's song kang.

"Y/n" he says

"Song kang" I say
