She gave you her heart but you broke it

Told her that you love her but it was a lie when you spoke it

Swept her off her feet suddenly she felt like she was in heaven

Then you dropped her on the ground...her heart shattered to pieces,

Afraid to love again cause she doesn't want to be left

Going through that again would be so close to getting killed

If she meets a good guy she's going to question if it's real

Cause she's been let down so much in the past

That if she does meet the right guy she will be afraid that it won't last,

Each time she picks up the pieces they blow away again

So now she's put up a wall...stored her heart in a safe place

Never showing any feeling so it never again breaks

No shoulder to cry on...she's feels lonely in this place

So much pain she can't breath she feels like she's in an enclosed space
