"D....Don't worry Miyasaki! Do you really think I haven't improved in this past year? Even though I can still feel his power, it won't be enough to take me down.", Ushio explained.

"Woah! He isn't going for that move is he?", questioned Akihito.

"That move?", queried Gina.

"Yeah, this is something that I taught him but he put his own twist on it. This move he has is something that his body can only handle once. His not that reckless so he probably won't use it. Hahahaha.", assured Akihito.

"Miyasaki, I'm going to do something that I can only handle for a short period of time. I'm not sure of whether I can carry on after it. So can you promise me to take on Tatsuya while I begin to use my power!", asked Ushio.

"I will do anything for you Ushio my darling!!", chanted Miyasaki.

"Stop that! I'm trying to concentrate!", exclaimed Ushio.

Now that they have discussed what they are going to do, Miyasaki jumps from behind Ushio and goes towards Tatsuya. During this motion Genjiro sets off one of his powerful flame attacks to Miyasaki but Ushio doesn't allow that to happen.

"Ground: The Great Wall!", Ushio boasted.

Once Ushio said the name of one of his moves. The middle bit of the floor began to rise very high which divided the room into two.

"You're my opponent now, Captain Genjiro! I'm not going to let you try and bring her down again.", said Ushio with a smirk on his face.

"That's a foolish mistake, young man. First off, if young Miyasaki is in trouble how are you going to back her up. Second of all, you said you needed time for this new move to work. Do you think that I'm going to wait for you to unleash this power.", challenged Genjiro.

"I'll fire the answers right back at you. To answer the first question I believe in Miyasaki to take on Tatsuya with no trouble and for the second question I don't need to time to unleash my new move. It was just a bluff.", explained Ushio.

"I see. However, that doesn't change the fact that you're going to lose.", said Genjiro proudly.

"In the past year, I have done nothing but train myself to death. Day in day out I would always push myself to the limit so I can protect all of my friends, so I can avenge the people who wrongfully died because of Commander Sato, so I can tear down this corruption and free Japan and any other country from the clutches of the Military. The level I am at now is no good, so I am going to take the first step now by defeating you and then I'm going to win the upcoming Elite tournament for the Ground users and end this corruption once and for all", countered Ushio.

Everyone in the room heard what Ushio said and couldn't do anything but smile.

"Let finish this! Second Military's Special Weapon: Bloodstream Blade!

"That idiot! He really is reckless, isn't he? But that is the best course of action because this is where he takes the next step.", Akihito praised.

"He has 2 Special Weapon moves?!", exclaimed Seiji.

"Yeah, he's got the hang of his first Special Weapon but not fully. While this move he finds hard to handle. He has took the attributes off my move, Ground: Ground Samurai, and pumps large amounts of his blood into the ground blade to make it more stronger. It's definitely has the potential to surpass my move but if he doesn't use the move correctly... he's dead.

"What!", blurted Yui.

"Why did you teach him such a move?", Gina testified.

"Because I have faith in him. He will surpass me and he will stop the corruption this place has. If I was to die he will definitely take on my will and save everything he holds dear to him.", Akihito stated.

"But if he is to die now this would be for nothing!", argued Yui.

"You are no friend if you are doubting his ability. Listen Yui, when it comes to the final fight against Commander Sato you guys are going to have to put your lives on the line. I am sure that Ushio believes in everyones ability but if you have doubt in him or think that his moves are going to be reckless, then there is no way you can be in the team and that will result in you having to leave the group now and forget everything you've learnt.", countered Akihito.

"I am not going to take that comment lightly! I..",  fumed Yui.

"Wait Yui! He's right! If we start to doubting each others abilities we will all end up dying. This is where everything becomes serious and we have got to trust each other.", said Seiji calmly.

"You guys don't understand! I do believe in Ushio's abilities and I understand that the upcoming fights are going to get serious but I don't want anyone to die!", shouted Yui.

"Will you guys can it in!", replied Ushio while listening in on their disagreement. "I appreciate your concern Yui but during these upcoming fights there will be death whether we like it or not. However, there is a way for everyone to survive and that is to get stronger and fight with all of our might even if it means putting our lives on the line. But for now, I'll show you how much I have improved during this past year and I'll make sure you won't have to worry about me again." claimed Ushio.

After Ushio's statement, Yui's heart began to feel tight and her face began to beam bright red. She decided to crouch down and hide her embarrassment.

"Smooth words there from Ushio, isn't that right Yui.", teased Seiji.

"Be quiet!", Yui replied sharply.

Now that the commotion has finally ended, Ushio begins to take stance and is ready to take on Captain Genjiro. Ushio decides to charge forward but Genjiro puts up something to through his eye sight off.

"Flame: Demon Smokescreen!", said Genjiro.

Ushio took a deep breath in and quickly and lightly swing his blade which cut straight through the smoke. Once the smoke moved Genjiro wasn't there anymore, he was only up in the air.

"I appreciate the challenge Ushio Akagi. So just for you I will show off my strongest move. Second Military's Weapon: Dicyanoacetylene Drive!!!!", howled Genjiro.

"I've told you before! I'm going to surpass everyone and put an end to this bullshit once and for all! Ground: Deadly Drive!", Ushio yelled back.

Genjiro's whole body was covered by flames and his feet where his driving force. Whereas Ushio pumped more blood into the blade and put a powerful thrust into his move. The both collided and the power surged and swelled around the room. The collisions of the moves ended up making the wall that Ushio made before come crumbling down. Both Miyasaki and Tatsuya were blown away thanks to the destructive force coming from these powerhouse moves being used by both Ushio and Genjiro.

"I can feel the force and passion coming from your blade, Ushio! But this power is nowhere near enough to take Commader Sato down!", Genjiro lectured.

"I agree that the level I'm at now is nowhere near strong enough but with the experience that I'm going to gain I will become stronger so don't you worry!". addressed Ushio.

It seems that there power was finally going down to their limit and the verdict was going to be made. However, at the last minute Ushio decided to go in for the last push and he broke through. The gravel like blade caught his face and knocked him flying across the room but the impact from the move also knocked Ushio off his feet.

"As expected from someone who was taught by Akihito. You remind me of his other student. He was an absolute monster and was very strong. Ow! I'm at my limit, you win Ushio Akagi!", declared Captain Genjiro.

"Yes! I've finally made my first step. Wait! Who is this other student.....", asked Ushio but he fell asleep due to too much blood usage.

"Ah well done Genjiro! Now I'm going to have to explain who is this person is! That's right he will be Ushio's biggest rival during the Elite Successor Tournament!", Akihito hinted.
