Try, not quite ripe peach slices on malt bread. Now we have the world's greatest peaches here in Ontario so quality may suffer elsewhere. (Ready for hue and cry). Also, the malt loaf I use is round, about 4 inches diameter and 1/2 inch thick, dark brown. Has a gummy texture chewing.
