"The Midst of the Fray"
Before the midst of the fray,
Thee dragons and humans used to play.
Now here is only blood and tears,
Thee dragons living with their fears.
But one shall break the hatred and restore the bonds,
And will walk past the bloody ponds.
She is not human nor a dragon but a fox.
Who hums with an elegant tone, a vox.
Thee graceful one singing along the howling zephyr.
The silver beauty is strong-willed and also clever.
She'll face a human, one with a heart filled with content,
Either to pacify nor slay to repent.
Here one shall live and one shall die,
Here one shall try and one shall cry.
The blood will spill in the midst of the day,
The tears will shed and the sky will be gray.
One shall say, "The Fox shall rise in the midst of the fray..."
The Silver One stepped across the dragons of the forsworn,
All full of scars and most are battle-torn.
She vowed and hummed to the feared ones,
"Thou shall not be crestfallen, you'll be free. Even your sons."
The Nine-Tailed Fox all kindhearted and wise,
In the midst of the fray one shall rise.
The human with a cold stone heart,
Had disavowed and has set them apart.
As she confronted him,
His face grew very grim.
The warriors readied their blades.
He spoke, "Withdraw." As his smile fades.
Here one shall stand and one shall befall,
One will be rising and one will acquire downfall.
The warrior's sword shall be broken if their king is slain.
If the Silver One is the one who has shall remain.
"The Silver Fox, one to bring peace and to maintain..."
The twosome gave a fearsome look,
As the Fox's anger made her hands shook.
She gripped her katana that gleamed,
Her opponent ran and screamed.
The Silver One quickly dashed,
As he violently thrashed and bashed.
Her sword glistened as she elegantly swung it!
A great beam was summoned as her katana was lit!
Then he bellowed! "Come Mirrikh! For I have called you!"
The fox was petrified as a frightening gale blew!
She looked at him who was desperate to win,
He should be gravely punished for his sin.
Mirrikh, a Great One, a beast of death.
A beast that brings and enjoys a dying breath.
Her chance of victory is starting to grow slim,
The monster will end everything because of him.
Here one of many shall thrall and one will be above all,
Her one shall triumph and one shall befall.
The world will end by the hands of the deceased,
The world shall fall with pestilence that had been unleashed.
One will say, "The Silver Fox died by Mirrikh, the beast..."
She stood with great determination!
"The dragons...don't deserve this salvation!"
She wielded her blade with immense might!
"Come forth my legendary moonlight!!"
Her sword and appearance transforms,
Both of their powers called in daunting thunderstorms.
The Nine-Tailed Fox gave a menacing stare.
She gave a ominous tone, "Come and face me if you dare..."
Mirrikh roared and swiped!
She leaped and sliced!
Death had withstood...
The king laughed, but she knew he misunderstood...
Here one will die and one will live,
Here one shall take and one shall give.
The tears shall spill as Death roamed that day,
The blood shall spill as cries are heard far away.
One will say, "She will rise in the midst of the fray..."
The dragons waited but no one came...
One called out the Silver's name...
Nothing happened, the wind still howls...
It was quiet, a lone thunder growls...
Not a single sound.
Thee dragons are free and now aren't bound.
The Silver Fox...nowhere to be seen.
The dragons can now soar out of that decrepit ravine.
The midst of the fray...
Now no longer...
The silence of peace grew only stronger...
Then the Fox's beautiful hum was heard.
Her vox was as pleasant as a Common Nightingale Bird.
