' a picture of a thousand words '

Me? If anything they would need someone with more information and not a spy in need of her next job. This whole thing felt like a holonovel.

"Me? Now why would they need a half-ass spy!" I shouted as Hald reached for my forearm and yanked me back to the cantina. The door was closed tightly behind me. Hald looked around the catina and in the back where the kitchen was. I tried to unlock the windows in the hopes of seeing what exactly is going on.

"We need to get you out of here," He said as he held my wrist and wandered through the strangely large kitchen. From what I saw outside there were about a dozen X-wing fighters in the atmosphere along with the TIE fighters. I couldn't find the ship anywhere in the orange sky of Waln. All of this happening needed to have a proper answer, right? How did the Order know exactly when we would get here and come early. Our schedule changes constantly and we never know what we do for the day until it's the morning of that day.

There had to be someone higher up that spilled the Naboo beans. Sorry, that was funny to me and only me.

"Why the hell is your kitchen so damn huge?" I spewed. Most of the time I keep my questions to myself, but when your location has been compromised you lose parts of your facade. Keeping a tough act while you are being targeted isn't always easy.

Hald let out a rough sounding laugh and let go of my wrist.
"We're getting out of the town, for someone who is a spy you don't pay attention," He said. I pointed my finger at him. "Come on, I am technically on vacation." I gave him an eye roll as I followed slowly behind him.

He stared at me. He knew something was up. Vacation time isn't what I do and most of the time I find a job to do instead of r&r. If anything most of my 'vacations' are just jobs waiting to happen. "Another hilarious thing that you said in under an hour, Asoan you never cease to surprise me," He admitted sarcastically. He opened what looked like a sewer entrance. I gave him a hard look. "You gotta be kidding me," I whispered as I followed Hald into the sewers.

"This town has clean and filtered water, the water down here is as you would get in a lake."

I nodded and took a look around the rather small area. The small turns we took were suffocating. For a while I thought I would be stuck forever. "Are you scared?"
I stared at Hald's back while he asked me that question. I scoffed at him and explained that I wasn't rather happy about the small, damp sewers we were in. His shoulders slightly moved as he tried to look back. He gave up pretty quickly. I couldn't help but try and figure out how in the force did the Order find us? Surely I wasn't the only one they wanted. The reason for such an attack was something I intended to find out. I continued to stare at Hald's tall build.
How did Hald know that the First Order was here for me? The intentions of the Order are rarely known by people in small outer rim planets, it made no sense to send ships and officers here weeks before we actually came unless I wasn't the only one wanted by the Order. I still didn't even know why they were after me. Hald announced we were at the end of the sewer route and we should be on the opposite side of the forest the one I came in a while back. He opened the door and held it for me.

"Hald, do you know why the Order is after me?" I asked. Hald froze for a second, enough time for red flags to go off in my head. "Where are you taking me?" I said, backing away from the exit and back into the sewers. Hald let his head fall low enough that I couldn't see his face. Wait, what was happening. Hald never lost his composure, not when he worked for the Federation.

"I'm sorry but when they found out that we were coworkers back in the day, they threaten to take my family away I couldn't let them Asoan." He looked at me with his tear filled eyes. "I couldn't," He whispered repeatedly. A feeling punched me in my stomach and I stopped.

"I thought I was your family too," I spat in disgust. After all we went through he thought he could just throw me away after he left. I thought he was there for me. The Trade Federation wasn't the best place to grow up in when you're a child, but my coworkers always made sure I had a good enough childhood. Hald was the one to do the most when it came to showing me on how to hold a gun or how to deactivate a sniper, he was the one who made sure I was safe and now he's doing the opposite? I had more feelings than one right now but I couldn't even form the words to say anything. I shook my head and tried to control my thoughts and organize my senses. I'm a kriffing spy, why was I acting like this?

"Where were you really going to take me?" I shouted. I didn't care if there were troopers around to hear me. I already lost something. Nothing Hald could say or do can repair that gaping hole of betrayal.

Hald held his hands up in fear, the man I knew no longer exists. He became soft and forgot everyone else. "I- I was leading you to the town center where there were fifty troopers waiting," He confessed. I turned back to the sewers. I guess I have to find a way out of this place myself. I suppose years of training would help me when someone turns out to be vile and not what you knew before.

Nothing helped me and nothing will.

"Be careful, Kylo Ren is looking for you as well," He shouted as I ran into the maze of sewer. Why was the man who was leading the enemy to me, telling me that the most feared guy in the galaxy right now is looking for me? I can't focus on Hald right now. He made his decision on what he wanted to do. I still felt betrayed and hurt for that, but also knew if he didn't tell me now he would've led me into this blind. At least he did the bare minimum in trying to fix his mistake.

I was glad Sorin wasn't here.

I raced down the long sewers in hopes of finding another exit out of the town. I heard a thud from above. The cement above me shook violently. The stone sewers wouldn't hold much longer. Something was trying to get inside of here. I mustered up the strength to continue down the rows. I turned left and continued down there. I was hoping going the other way could confuse them enough to get me time to escape. This gave me time to organize what I knew about why the Order would go out of their way to find me. From what I know, I'm a spy who just so happens to be working for the other side, but that would be rather normal since I'm not that outstanding and I haven't done much since I joined the Rebellion.

After who knows how long, I found an exit which led into a long and deep river. I calculated the risks but the odds of me getting away from them without swimming were pretty slim.  I took my chances and dived into the river. As I swam down the stream, I felt a strong wave, I turned my head back to the town from which came from the sewers I was in just minutes ago. Then I heard screams of scared people and then shouts of commands. They were blowing up the entire town looking for me? What about Hald? His family? Everybody else? I tried to dismay the terrible feeling I had, I might have been one of the only people to survive. People are dying because of me.

"Find her!" A distorted voice shouted loud enough that I could hear it. Kylo Ren. It had to be him. I couldn't waste more time on trying to figure out whose voice was that. I swam as fast as I could and took small breaks between longer stokes. If they were hoping I would get tired after a while, they would be dead wrong. The water was trying to get into my mouth and it was getting harder to breathe as my nose was barely getting air. The feeling of cold water pricking my skin wasn't the best feeling but it beats being caught by the Order by a million. I kept my focus on staying afloat and moving.

Then water came down from the sky. I looked up and let raindrops hit my face as I let a deep breath in and savoured this moment. I might have been in danger but this moment of serendipity trumped the feelings of fear and hopelessness for a few seconds. I didn't want this feeling to fade but then a big boom was heard and snapped me back to the dark cloudy sky and reminded me that I couldn't let my other Rebels get hurt or killed because of me. I took a deep breath once more and plunged myself into the water.

After what felt like hours, I found a cave alongside the river, which was getting shallow now. If I kept swimming, it would be more like walking in the water. My arms felt sore from the constant stoking. Thanks to the force I took swimming lessons one time in Naboo.

I entered the cave and gazed at the beauty of the cave. There was some sort of name written on a small stone at the foot of the cave. Someone once lived here and drew across the stone. I pressed my hand on the damp stone and looked at the amazing detail in each drawing. The cave was big enough to accommodate two people for life. There was a broken down bed and area which looked like a kitchen. Clothes of what looked like Mandalore linen was hanging on a thin, long piece of twine, then just below the hanging twine was parts of armor.

Mandalorian armor. Whoever lived here had Mandalorian armor? How did they get that?

"You shouldn't be here."

I jumped back and saw someone at the entrance of the cave. They wandered to the kitchen and dropped a basket at a round stone table. It was an old man with a blaster in his right hand and a small knife in his left. I backed up to the near stone wall. My small knife in the sleeve of my shirt. I shivered violently when a cold rush of wind hit my soaked body. I needed some place dry to stay for a bit.

"I apologize, I had to hide until I could contact my friends." I bowed in forgiveness. The man sighed and went to sit at the foot of the bed. "Now why would you need to hide?" The man asked and looked up at me. I explained parts of it and not mentioned the part where the Order is looking for me and that I worked for the Rebellion. The man pointed to my bag and asked what was inside of it.

I had an old broken holo, parts of a blaster and a picture sealed tightly. I placed my items on the man's stone table and sat on the floor.

"I just need a place to stay for a while," I stated, hoping he would see me as a runaway outworlder. I have played this role one too many times. He nodded in a manner that shows this was not the first time this has happened.
He got up from the bed and grabbed the holo and picture. When I went to snatch the picture from his hands, he asked me a question. His face frozen in disbelief.

"How did you get a picture of her?"
