Food-Fights, Geez...
Congrats to @Aura_Magic as of getting the two lunch monitors right! Anyways, onto the story...~
I tapped Isaac's shoulder, and he turned from where he was tugging his locker open. "Oh, hey. What's up?"
"I just wanna ask you something."I waved at Sarah and Una, who were waiting for me at where the hall intersected.
He raised an eyebrow in surprise, then motioned for me to go on.
"Whose's the science teacher?"
His grin widened. "You'll have to see- But all I'm saying is that he has a snappish temper."
"ISAAC!"
He dashed away, ducking into the doors of the café and then vanished. Another black-haired boy jogged after him, and I waved a quick good-bye at Aidan as he passed to follow his twin.
"Those two are a help." Mirka came up besides me, lunch money- at least what I assumed to be lunch money- in one hand, a lunchbox in the other.
"Yeah. What's with the money and lunch box?"
"Just in case the school food is horrid." She nodded, "One step ahead."
She veered off into the school lunch line, and I plopped down in one of the tables.
"Pfft, school monitors...such a stupid idea..." Sarah muttered as she slid down next to me, holding a small milk carton she had gotten from the line. "Hey, what's up with that?"
I followed where she was looking at. The curtain on the stage connected to the lunchroom were closed, but in the area where the curtain didn't just touch the ground, I could see two pairs of feet, as well as what looked like a microphone stand.
Pretty soon, the café was buzzing with the sounds of kids. Aidan and Isaac weren't exactly with us, just chatting with two others at the other end of the table, Pratina seemed to be waiting for someone. Logan and Luke were seated at the other table, surrounded by what I assumed was the sporty boys, including LJ.
Logan has the biggest ego I've ever met.
Sarah was seated next to me, as well as Una across from me, with Mirka next to her. It seemed like Mirka already formed a close bond with the group.
Someone plopped down next to Pratina, followed by two others.
"Paige! Sammie! Taylor!" Sarah squealed, launching herself across two chairs to envelop Sammie in a hug.
Like Abhas and Pratina, Paige, Sammie, and Taylor were all from my fifth grade year.
"Can you believe it?" Sammie asked, weaving her black hair into a new braid, "We're 7th graders!"
"That's what I said in fifth grade..." Taylor sighed, "That I couldn't believe that was was a fifth grader. It seems like so long ago..."
Una's gaze flicked between Taylor and I. "She's taller then you."
I went into defense mode, "By one inch!"
"Still taller~"
"SHUT UP!"
Una stuck her tongue out, smirking. "Sure."
I snarled at her through my mouthful of chips, stuffing another one in my mouth.
Mirka held up a hand. "Whoa, girls, calm down. I wouldn't mind some bloodshed, but there's some people moving around on stage." She jerked her finger towards the stage, where I could see two shadows.
Sammie looked strangely at her, opening her mouth to reply, but a loud sound rang through the room, causing nearly everyone to duck and cover their ears.
"It sounds like a microphone." Taylor's voice was muffled as she clamped her ears tightly. I had to strain my hearing to hear her, even if she was two seats down.
"Wait, how do you get this to wo- OH! Got it!" Someone yelled, causing us to clutch our heads tighter.
The curtains opened, revealing two teens- a slouched form, his thin frame causing his clothes to hand loosely.
The other was shorter than him, even if he was hunched, blonde hair and bangs in the front, and brown in the back.
"Is that...Sora?" Mirka muttered, confused.
My gaze was focused on the brunette next to him.
"Holy heck, life just got a whole lot worse." Sarah mumbled, her eyes also lingering on Reiji.
"Um, so. Erm, hi! I'm Sora, your lunch monitor, along with...this...dude...but don't mind him, he's half-asleep, so-EEK!"
Reiji raised his head as Sora hopped away from him, trying to get the plastic snake un-coiled from around his next.
The Serpentine user's eyes gleamed, pupils dilating even though they were slits as he let out an amused hiss, drawing his hand back and flinging something into the crowd.
There was a loud screech from Logan's table, and I glanced over Una's shoulder to peer at something coiled and scaly writhing in someone's food.
"Is...is...that a real life snake?" Paige's mouth fell open.
Reiji seemed to be enjoying himself hugely. "Ssss...enjoy your...ssss...lunch..." He left the stage, leaving Luke and the other to shriek as the snake bared it's fangs.
Sora had finally untangled himself from the fake snake, but having tripped on it, was on his behind. "Um, um..."He waved his hands fratically, pulling something black out of his back pocket. "Uh, Enzo, can you-?"
Right away, something small, black, and green flung himself threw the doors. "Hands up!"Enzo yelled, looking absoutely ridiculous in his police-man clothes. "What's the problem?"
"Reiji threw a snake at the kids..."
"Amazing, huh?" Enzo jumped excitedly, "Where's the kids?"
I face-palmed. "Look at the mass of screaming boys, doofus..."
Enzo launched himself in the horde, yelling something (Probably "Amazing, huh?"), as he dragged a tall boy away from the group. "COMING THROUGH!"
An alarmed scream came from one of the boys, and I had to giggle wildly at his expression.
And then I realized why.
The snake was sailing through the air, landing in the hood of one of the other boys that I remembered from my math class. I'm pretty sure his name was Michael.
Michael (Let's just call him that.) whipped around. "Who threw food at me?!" He demanded, heaving the pizza pie.
Oh god now, Michael, if you have any sense in you, please don't...
"WHAT THE *Censored* IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" Mirka screamed, yelling some other...pretty scary stuff as she wiped the pizza sauce off her chin. "YOU LITTLE *Censored*!!"
Pretty soon, food was sailing across the café. Enzo had actually joined in, grinning wildly as he sole someone's milk carton, opening it, then letting it fly.
Una had some noodles sticking to her shirt, and I had a stain of what seemed like one of the strawberry cups on my shoulder.
The blonde was screaming with Mirka, stealing people's food while finishing her chocolate.
Sarah ducked as Enzo's milk carton flew by, the milk splattering on her ponytail and nape of her neck.
"What has this school come to?" She muttered, reaching over to steal Taylor's pizza pie since the said girl was busy chucking her fork into the mass of kids.
Violent. I like it. Both her and Mirka were doing just that.
"WILL YOU ALL PLEASE SHUT THE *Censored* UP AND SETTLE DOWN?!" Someone yelled, and all of our attention turned to the green-haired teen up front.
"The *Censored* is wrong with you?" Kyoya demanded. "Everyone, back to the bathrooms and clean up!" He snarled.
I picked at the icecream sliding down my shirt. "Yes, sir." I mumbled, the other girls nodding.
~
"That...was...awesome!" Someone exclaimed, popping up next to me.
I nodded a greeting to Aidan. "You got a noodle in your hair."
"I'm aware." He grinned. "Plus there was language and all that!"
I scratched the back of my neck. "Yeah, I guess it was cool. Ruined my one of my favorite shirts though," I said, looking down at my now messed up Arizonia Hogs shirt. "Meh, it'll be fine."
"What do you have next?" Aidan chirped. He seemed overly cheerful, which was saying smething, since I had already learned the fact Aidan was the more rude-r one of the twins.
"Science."
He grinned. "Great, this is gonna be fun! I got the same!"
A/N~
Reiji and Sora are the lunch monitors, Enzo is the school officer. I already gave a hint to who the Science teacher in this chapter. Once again, congrats to Aura for guessing the lunch monitors right!
