*:Collin's POV:*

I hear the girls step into the water. I speed over to Kena and tug on her ankle.

"Be right back, guys. I'm just gonna get used to the water." She slumps under enough that just above her eyebrows are covered. She's stunning.

Now, but please make it quick, Collin. I don't want them getting suspicious. Her voice hums in my head. I nod and lean. It's only a short but sweet kiss on the lips. Although this is the last time I'll be kissing her now that she knows the hug ordeal. I pull away slowly.

I watch her amazing, shimmery tail appear. She winces a little but doesn't fall to the sand or in my arms like she used to, but I wish she did. Just then I here loud smashes in the water. We both whip around.

Her friends are in the water with shimmering tails. Kena hurriedly swims over to her friends, pulling them above water. I follow Kena.

Collin! Help me! She yells.

Okay! I say, grabbing the one with a magenta tail. Once we get them above water and on the beach, Kena and I stare at each other.

"Thank you, Collin." She says put of breath.

"You're welcome. Now, which one is this?" I ask.

"Oh, right, sorry. That's Abriella and this is Amber." Kena says, pointing to Abriella and then Amber. Abriella is the one with the magenta tail and Amber had a tail like mine, gold with a mixture of sunset.

"Will they keep our secret?" I ask. That's the most concerning part of turning humans.

"They'll have too. Its their secret to now." She says, giving an adorable shy smile. Abriella starts to shift around then so does Amber. Amber opens her eyes and screams when she sees me. Kena puts her hand over Amber's mouth.

"What are you screaming about, Amber?" Abriella asks, her back to me. Amber points at me and Abriella turns around.

"Bop! Don't. Scream." I tell her, putting my hand to her mouth. She bites my hand really hard.

"Don't touch me!" She says, slapping me as well.

"You go girl!" Amber yells, removing Kena's hand from her mouth. Kena laughs at her friends' spirit.

"Whatever." I mutter under my breath.

"So, how do you like them, guys?" I hear Kena ask once she's done laughing.

"Like what?" Amber asks.

"Your tails." Kena says, rolling her eyes and pointing at her shimmering teal tail. Amber screams again and practically jumps out of her scales when she sees her tail.

"Oh. My. God! Kena! Did you do this? Is this a prank? If it is I swear I'll punch you, Kena! You know this is my dream!" Amber yells slapping the sand. A huge smile, ear to ear, is plastered on her face and wouldn't go away.

"I assure you, it's 100% real." I say dryly.

"Oh my gosh!" Abriella squeals. She attempts at dragging herself to the water. She's almost there when her arms collapse from under her.

"Are you ok, Abriella?" Kena asks, waddling over to Abriella.

"Yup." Abriella replies, spitting out a mouthful of sand. Kena laughs and helps Abriella to the water. I try an do the same for Amber but she simply refuses and drags herself to the water.

I roll my eyes and get on my way. Abriella is still having a bit of trouble getting in so I grab her hand and help her in.

"Thank you." She says once she is sitting in somewhat shallow water. I nod, swimming over to sit next to Kena.

"You're the best, Collin!" Kena says, wrapping her arms around me in a hug. "Let's get them back to the cave." I nod.

"Come on. We're going back to my cave." I announce so they can hear me. I dive underwater. I hear the other three follow me.
