**Kena's POV**

"Your majesty, we have heard news of a mernapping not just a little more than one hundred miles from here." A male villager informs me. He's been helping me a lot with keeping me up to date.

"Thank you, Kem. I'll take this information very seriously and send out search parties. How many were taken?" I seriously reply. I float up in front of him. My silk gown floats around my teal tail.

"Three. Two females and one male." He replies bowing. I nod and make my way to the meeting hall. I pass several servents who all bow as I swim by. I barge through the doors of the meeting room.

"There's been a mernapping. Three merpeople. Two girls and a boy." I say coldly as I swim to the chair at the head of the table and slam my fist down. I sit and stare at the group of searchers. They all stare scaredly at me.

"Do you know the three?" On searcher asks.

"I have no idea. I have no other information other than there are three and it happened only one hundred miles from here."

"We will work on it." They all agree. I nod. I swim out and head to my chambers.

I see few servants as I push through the halls. I can't stop thinking about the mernapping. It could've been a dad, a mother and their child who were taken! I try and push the thought back and shake it off.

I feel an arm around me pulling me into a dark corridor out of my way. I slam tail and head into theirs setting myself free. I look back to see who attempted to capture me but I only saw glowing red eyes. The red doesn't seem normal, almost like a hypnotic swirl around the pupil. I swim faster than a bullet back to my chamber.

I slam the door and slide down against the smooth coral. I sigh a sigh of releaf and get to or building a berricade. I push dressers and blankets and all that ish in front of my door. Someone knocks on the door and I scream.

"Princess Chaaisiihuu, it is me. Please open up." Kem says sweetly, sounding worried and urgent.

"I'm sorry, Kem. I just had a frightening experience that has my fins in a twist." I say, moving things from in front of the door. Kem opens the door when I'm finished and swims in.

"That is quite alright. I've had many such experiences." He says, swimming over to a spot on my bed and sitting down. He pats the spot next to him. I look at him skeptically but swim over and sit.

"What is it, Kem? You've got me worried." He nods and looks down.

"We know this is a risky move for all of us but we're going to try." He pauses and playing with his scales.

"Kem..." I say cautiously.

"You're going in. You're going to pretend to be a loyal slave to the captor to set the prisoners free. We have his location. Be prepared with a disquise tonight." He saws. I gape in surprise and astonishment. I nod slowly and lead him out the door.

When he exits I slump to floor and put my head in my hands. "How am I supposed to go unrecognized...?" I look around my room and see a new potion bottle in place of where Kem was sitting. I swim over. The bottle says "Drink Me". "This better work." I say putting the bottle to my lips.

It smells like Collin. I tear up at the thought of him. I gulp the thing down. It feels like liquidy peanut butter and tastes like the way roses smell. I gag once it's all down. I immediately feel changes.

My tail changed to copper, my hair changed to black, my waist became skinnier, my ribs were shown more, my top was a navy blue and 3 ribs above the end of my rib cage, everything was more apparent and popped out more than before.

"Holy shitaky mushrooms!" I exclaimed. I felt my crown which was now just a band around my head with a sapphire in the middle.

I swim out to the hall. Everyone looked at me in a suspicious way as I passed through the halls. I search for Zem in almost every hallway but could find him no where. The sun was setting so I couldn't miss the opportunity. I grab a navy blue cloak that's a little less than a shade darker than my tail.

I swim out my door and am on my way to the location. I hum near to silent as I continue swimming. I adore the shades of light pinks and blues of the coral.

I feel a hand on me again only this time when it touches me it tingles. I scream and feel another tingly hand come over my mouth.

"Oh, Princess Chaaisiihuu, not this time."
