After 8 years I finally came home. I wonder if anyone is home?

I walked to the front door and to my surprise it actually opened revealing a friendly face.

"Hello Anna. Been a while, hasn't it?~"

Her eyes widen at my figure, then soften saying, "Your grandfather is waiting.."

I smiled as I walked past her catching her whispering, "Good to have you back, Miyu." "Good to be back, Anna."

With that said we ventured to grandfather arm and arm, goes to show how close we are, right? Hehe.

<Time Skip Mini>

We enter hall after hall, and finally made it to grandfather.

Anna was about to open the door when another familiar face appeared.

"Ahoy there, Tamara! How you doing?"

"M-Miyukihara?!" I sighed

"Call me Miyuki, Miyu, or Yuki. I hate my full sometimes."

I mumbled that last part, cause the only people who actually get it right is Grandpa, Dad, Anna, Tami, and Yoh (depending on if he wants to get punched.)

"Ah welcome home my dear."

I look down and see my grandmother standing in front of me.

"It's great to be back, grandmother."

She smiled as I did the same, and I noticed Anna slightly smiling. Key word slightly hehe!

"Well since you're back, allow me to tell you this."

I gulped, mentally, do to how sturn grandfather is, although sturn, or not, I respect elderly. It's one of my codes, policies, life rules.

"Welcome back and Happy Birthday Miyuki." My eyes went wide.

"Huh?!"

"What do you mean 'huh'? It's yours and Yoh birthday silly."

"But Anna I haven't celebrated anything since I left! I don't even think I know how to celebrate the way I usually do?!"

"You're so oblivious.." She whispered but I didn't catch and shrugged it off.

"Well then tell us about your journey my dear."

I smiled at that request.

"Okay! Everyone gather, cause this is gonna be sweet!~"

Everyone laughed at me jumping up and down, well Anna mostly smiling, as I calmed myself and told them my journey around the freakin world and how sick it was.

"Say Miyu?"

"Yeah Ann."

Btws I'm the only one with permission to call her that, considering that we both want what's best for Yoh.

"What's that Spirit behind you?"

I tilt my head as the others look behind me. I turn around and see what they are talking about.

"Oh. This is Azashi Combra. She's my Guardian Ghost, do to what's coming up, I must be prepared at all costs."

I turned from happy-go-lucky Asakura, to serious-mercenary Asakura.

"As much as I hate to say this but she's right."

I turn my head slightly towards Anna, still is Mercenary mode.

"If I may say something..."

We all, except me and Anna, turn towards my Guardian Ghost.

"You may my dear."

"This year I fear may be troubling.."

I slowly open my eyes as grandfather said, "What makes you say that?"

That question put me 1/4 in mercenary mode.

"We just so happen to run into a concil member on our way back. He gave me, not a lot, but enough information to go on about this year's Shaman fights. And let me tell you this i have a feeling it will be 'hell on earth'."

"Well then, I guess you'll have no choice than to sick by Yoh's side."

"I must agree my dear. Do to the fact that Yoh relaxed.."

"You could easily make a grave for him. Which is why I love having you as a friend."

I laugh, as I slowly go back to happy-go-lucky.

"True! I so won't deny that, but you know.." I started to think. "You wouldn't mind if I took all my weapons, even my mask, would you?"

I heard Anna giggle.

"You wanna see how bad it's gotten, don't you?"

"Hahaha! Read me like an open book like always Anna!"

I hear grandpa clear his throat.

"Yes well I'll grant that request, if you'll tell how you trained over the years."

I smiled and gestured to my poncho and boots.

"See for yourself.~"

Everyone look confused as Tami walked over to my poncho, in attempt, to pick it up.

"W-what?!"

Everyone was wide eyed, as Tami tried again, as it never left the floor.

"Miyu why can't she-?"

"There weighed clothing, I used them as a means of training, so when I master one i ask a favor for heavier."

I looked up to see Anna and Tami's eyes wide again.

"And how much is it now my granddaughter?"

I smiled at grandfathers question.

"At least 50 or 55 pounds."

"Oh wow!" I heard Tamara say.

"Impressive indeed my dear."

I look up and see my father. I got up and ran to him and gave a bear hug.

"Hi daddy! I've missed you over the years!~"

He laughed and ruffled my hair, while hugging me back.

"You've grown over the years my child, and I must agree with Yohmei, I believe it's time for our Little Protector to visit and stay with her brother."

My eyes widen.

"Agreed Mikihisa, I believe she's ready. Miyukihara."

Gaah! I hate that name!

I turned my head towards grandfather, not leaving dad, yet.

"You and your Guardian Ghost will be leaving to live with Yoh. Prepare your things."

"To be honest..."

They all looked at me as I sighed.

"I never really left with anything, besides the clothes on my back."

"Very impressive my girl. Now what about hygiene? We know you hate smelling like a man, and what about when a random peaks, or steals your belongings?!"

"Whoa whoa, chill dad!"

"Sorry, got carried away.."

"Only natural my son. After all she is your only daughter, and holds, far, more power than Yoh."

I laugh as dad said, "True"

"But I kinda want hear what you would do in those situations."

I turned around and sighed and Anna caught it and quirk a brow.

"Actually all those scenarios did occur, but no one saw me, and no clothes were taken either. I'm actually quite proud of myself to be honest."

All the guys in the room, Dad and Grandpa, were wide eyed, as me and Tami laughed while grandma and Anna smiled.

"Well I should probably head to get my equipment, unless you say no.~"

I said to Grandfather, as he was thinking with his arms crossed.

"I'll grant you your equipment, just don't go 'Mercenary Crazy' alright?"

"Hehe Deal.~"

He smile as Anna and Tami got up and stood beside me.

"Tamara and I will help you gear up for the trip."

I smiled.

"Thanks Ann, Tami."

With that we left to get my gear from my room.

<Time Skip>

"Well I'm off looking for Yoh. See you later!"

"Good luck my daughter." I heard dad says as I walked away.

Third POV

"What about the necklace Yohmei?"

Yohmei sighed and looked at your retreating figure.

"She'll be back my son, when that happens I'll give it to her."

Mikihisa sighs.

"Very well Yohmei.."
