~Rainbow Steve's POV~

We head out to finally find the group again, that way there we can get the artifact that Night Steve was talking about a while back.

"How far from the camp do you think we are?" I ask Blue Steve curiously, and he shrugs.

"Probably a few hours, might be a bit more." I groan in annoyance immediately afterwards.

"That's so longgggg," I whine, and he shrugs.

"It'll be fine, just have patience," he smiles, ruffling up my hair.

I puff out my cheeks, looking at Blue Steve. "Fineeee," I whine, and we continue walking.

~Alex's POV~

I take a deep breath, looking at Sabre. "I don't know how good this is going to work," I admit. "It might not work at all, but—" Sabre cuts me off.

"Anything is better than nothing, Alex," he says softly, and I nod gently.

"This might hurt a bit," I warn, glancing at all the Steve's gathered around me. Sabre nods, and I exhale. Then, I put my some of my energy into Sabre, that way there he has some of my powers. With my powers, he'll be able to find who he's close to, so he'll be able to find Rainbow Steve. Tons of lightning showers from the sky as I start giving him my energy, and I silently count the seconds. One... two... three

At three, I stop giving Sabre my powers, but the lightning continues to ricochet on the ground. Once the lightning finally stops, I feel myself grow tired from the lack of all my energy. "You okay?" Sabre asks me, coming over beside me.

I nod gently, and he chews his lip for a moment before nodding as well.

"Can you sense where he is?" I ask Sabre, and he looks at me. I look down at my hand, noticing a thin red string on my finger. Everyone else around me has one too, but they all got their own specific shade of red. I look at Sabre's, gasping quietly when I realize.

This string is the red string of fate, and Sabre has the same red string as me.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Night Steve asks, and I gently nod.

"Sabre, do you see what I see?"

Sabre looks down, noticing the strings as well.

I had to add some Red String of Fate into one of my books- anyway- have this trash update to make up for me taking forever to update and this book not even finished, yet being going on for a year
