Gray was walking at the back of his comrades and the new girl. She talked about sealing her own darkness, Ur had told him that she was going to seal his darkness when she defeated Deliora. Not to mention that stance she took before she attacked. It was the same stance he and Lyon took because Ur had taught it to them. Plus he had noticed that she wasn't wearing any shoes and when Wendy asked her about it she had said that she just didn't like to wear them. Could that be like his stripping habit. Not wearing shoes was a lot weirder than stripping but Gray was sure that this girl had to somehow know Ur. Gray had to ask he couldn't leave it any more, he walked next to her.

"Yuki?"

"Yeah?" She responded.

"You talked about sealing your darkness...and that stance...did you know Ur?" Yuki stopped walking and looked at him.

"Ur...yeah I did." The rest of the group stopped and walked back to listen to the conversation. Gray's eyes widened, she knew his teacher but how? "When I was 5 I was on the run. It was Ur and Ultear that picked me up. They took me home, gave me food and a place to stay. Ur taught me ice make magic, but a year later I was training alone in the mountains because Ur stayed at home with a sick Ultear and Hikari appeared before me. She told me that she could teach me ice dragon slayer magic, at first I was reluctant so she let me go home and talk it over with Ur. That night at dinner Ur told me that I should go, I should become as strong as I can be so that one day I can seal my own darkness. The darkness that has been haunting my dreams, the darkness that is slowly eating away at my heart. So I left and I have never seen her since then..." They was silence after Yuki had explained. Yuki looked up from the floor at Gray, whose eyes were shocked but not angry which Yuki would have expected.

"She was my teacher." He eventually said. "She took my in after Deliora destroyed my hometown. She taught me ice make magic along side another by the name of Lyon." Yuki didn't like the way Gray was using the past tense to talk about her.

"Where is she now?" Gray looked at the floor and didn't answer. This gave Yuki all the information she needed and she fell to the floor on her knees. "No, no it can't be true. She was the strongest person I have ever met, she can't be dead...how...how did it happen?"

"She was protecting me. I was a stupid kid. I went after Deliora myself but I wasn't strong enough to defeat him. Ur used iced shell to stop him. Lyon layer used moon drip to thaw Deliora out so that he could defeat the thing that she couldn't and surpass his teacher. Ur's spirit is now somewhere in the sea."

"Wh-where was Ultear?"

"She is dead too. The doctors that gave her treatment ended up killing her."

"Ultear...too." Tears streamed down Yuki's face. "This is all my fault. I never should have left them that day. If I didn't things might have been different. I should have stayed, Ur must have been so sad and lonely after Ultear was taken away from her. I witnessed the love she had for her first hand...a love like that can never be replaced."

"Yuki..." Jade walked over and rested her paws on her friends knees. Yuki hardly ever cried but when she did Jade knew that it was serious.

"Don't blame yourself for it." Said Gray looking up at the sky. Yuki looked back up at him. "Ur wouldn't want that. If she told you to go then she did it because she knew that was best for you, she wouldn't have it any other way. If it is anyone's fault she is dead it's mine. I was the one that went after Deliora by myself, when I wasn't ready. Ur died to save me."

"She did it to seal your darkness." Gray looked down at Yuki and smiled at her slightly.

"Yeah."

"Ur...believed that we could only be truly happy if we sealed our darkness. She told me that she would teach me everything she knew so that I could seal mine, when I was ready to that is. When I find the dark guild that took my family from me, when I know why they did it, then I will seal my darkness and I can finally be free and live my life the way Ur wanted me too."

Hey guys just a footnote I said that Ultear was dead because at the time my story is set they don't know that she is alive yet, they only actually find that out when she appears on Tenrou island. Kk bye guys!
