So, The Clawthornes. They were Jake's first adopted family. After being brought through the portal by the owl creature, Jake was taken to Eda, who had just moved in to the Owl House, and she was shocked by the appearance of the baby Jake.

Eda took in the young boy and raised him to up to be a respectable young man. And when he first discovered his powers at a young age, Eda helped to train him to make sure to have it under control, so he wouldn't get hurt.

When Jake was 14 years old, Eda went exploring and had came across a young demon creature and brought him home. This young demon was named King.

King and Jake instantly became close with each other and were like brothers. Eda was happy that Jake had a companion to be there with him when she had to do her thing.

Unfortunately, everything would change for all of them. One night, Eda's curse came out and lost control and became the Owl Beast, hurting Jake. It was then that they all knew that it wasn't as safe as it may have been before. So, Eda made a sad choice to send Jake away through the portal and back to the human realm. But before that, Eda had placed a memory wipe spell on him to make sure he wouldn't remember anything and could continue living a normal life.

As for Lilith, Jake will eventually meet her. . . If he ever returns to The Boiling Isles.
