Taylor is just a girl who likes to have fun and make friends. She becomes quick friends with Jake, once he returns to his birth town of Transylvania. And they grow so close that it's almost like they were friends for a long time. That's because they were childhood friends.

When Jake was being raised on the boiling isles, Eda let him go to the human world one day with her as she was getting some stuff to sell, he met a young Taylor and they instantly became friends as Taylor was a lonely child and Jake had never fully interacted with another human before. Eda took note of this and made it a weekly thing that Jake was able to hang out with Taylor in the human world as she was hunting for sales.

Unfortunately, a few years go by and Taylor moved away with her family, leaving Jake alone once again. And this was truly a dark time in Jake's life as he feared that he'd never see her again. Until later on in his life when they reunite.

In the present time, Taylor makes it her mission to make sure that Jake feels good about his inevitable future of ruling over the vampires, as he is the son of the late Vampire Prince, Vladimir Moon. She acts super nice to him and gives him her full support, much to April's jealousy.

Taylor is constantly flirting with Jake and getting really close to him, which doesn't bother him much, but it makes him feel like there's more to her than meets the eye. But despite that, they're both really good friends and get along really well.
