Jasmine Hunter is the sister of Jessica Hunter/Moon and is the biological aunt of Jake Moon.

When she and Jessica were young, they got along very well. But as time went on, Jasmine became more critical about everything Jessica did, especially when it came to her love for Vlad.

After Jessica's first failed attempt to rescue Vlad from the dungeon, Jasmine was all on her case about it. She even threatened to tell their father and get her in trouble for it. She doesn't accept that her sister wants to give Vampires a chance, because she hates them as much as the others in their village.

Of course, this hatred didn't come from just anywhere. They actually lost their uncle to a vampire attack back when they were kids, so it's justified in that way. But it's still no excuse for how she treated Jessica for a long time.

Jasmine eventually gets married to a hunter, keeping her last name, and has a kid as well, who grew up in the way of vampire hunters.

So Jasmine can be mean and not understand her sister's feelings, but it's important that she's given a possible chance to redeem herself in the future. Will she, though? I guess time will tell.
