Thomas and you were like detectives back in the Glade. Thomas was the leader, he was strong, ambitious, and didn't care if he was killed. But Thomas did act before he thought, which is why he needed you. You were the smart one - out of everyone in the Glade. You came up with the smart, strategic plans. Thomas was convinced that was why you were called 'The Brains.'

Minho: Property of WICKED; Subject A2; The Trigger

You nor any of the other Gladers knew what 'The Trigger' meant. They were a bit concerned, considered what happened in the Glade when Teresa triggered the ending. Most of them thought that something similar would happen in the Scorch, but Minho had faith in you. But, soon, Minho created a theory. He thought you were called 'The Trigger' because you were the person who pushed every one to go further, to keep fighting. You would trigger every one to keep fighting.

Newt: Property of WICKED; Subject A9; The Rock

The Gladers would have made some stupid decisions without you. You were always there to keep them grounded, to tell them what was going just a bit too far. Some people teased you, calling you the soccer mom of the Glade, but you would always make sure to rub it in their faces when you would constantly save their asses. You and Newt thought that's why you were called 'The Rock', you kept every one grounded.
