"Have you seen Gally?" Was the only question you asked anyone the entire day. You couldn't find him and it had been hours... truth be told you were starting to get worried. You approach a busy Newt who was fiddling with some weeds.

"Stay away from me..." You wipe your eyes as he edges closer. He tries to touch your arm but you flinch and back away from him like he's holding a loaded gun. "DON'T! Shucking touch me."

"Y/N," he crouches down "I'm sorry. I just... It feels like everything is wrong and I'm so scared. Okay? I can't help but push you away even though I hate myself for it. I love you Y/N."

You didn't know it but Gally wanted to show you that he was not in this relationship for a fast relief or a way of steaming out frustration. He loved Y/N and he was here to stay for however long Y/N would let him stay. So despite Y/N's protests for him to 'hurry the shuck up' he took it slow. They eventually lay naked next to each other and Gally could see Y/N shaking.

"Hey. We don't have to do anything you don't wanna do," Gally mumbled. They'd done this plenty of times before.
