"We'd be good together," you say. Alone in the forest with Newt.
"No." He answers plainly. Not even looking at you,just ahed.
"Why?"
"Because I'll break your heart,"
"What makes you think that?"
"Haven't you seen me Y/N. My limp,my sadness,my despair?"
"That doesn't matter Newt. None of it does. When you really love someone, you see all their mess and their brokenness and you love them anyway. In fact, seeing all of that sort of makes you love them more,"
"I'm sorry Y/N," he looks like he's about to burst into tears when he walks off. Slowly with his injured leg.

The tears stream down your face. You can't stop crying. You get up and begin to walk deeper into the woods.  Gally lunges behind you and pushes you to the ground. You collapse onto the floor,your hands awfully scraped. They sting and bleed but you know to keep it in. You start to run away but he grabs you by the back of your shirt and shoves you against the floor.
"Wait we're not done," he says.
He raises his fist to punch.
"Don't touch her," a voice says, you turn round head slightly to see Newt.
"Shut up!" Gally snaps.
"I'll get Alby!" He threatens "Now Shuck off!"

He leaves slowly,padding off after that point. But once you see Newt you stomp away from him,he keeps calling your name but you ignore him.
"GO AWAY!" You scream at him.
"I just saved your life!" He screams back.
"I DON'T CARE!" You face him as the tears fall from your eyes "I don't care because you don't love me. Never have and never will,"
"Wait Y/N,"
"Leave me alone and never speak to me again!"
"Thank you."
"What?"
"Thank you. I love you,"

He holds you against him,your bodies pushed together.
"I'll try not to break your heart," he whispers "I'll try not to break myself,"
