Teresa ♡

You arrive at the town a little later than expected. The sun's already set and all the street lights turned on. With Teresa behind the wheel and you in the passenger seat, quiet and gentle music plays as Teresa finds a parking spot with a great view of the ocean.

You both miraculously had the same week off and with your busy lives you didn't want it to go to waste so the two of you decided to go on a mini holiday.

You're quite surprised at the number of people still outside, there seems to even be a party on the beach. You didn't realize how popular of a destination this town is.

"We should find a place to stay for the night." Teresa suggests, turning the engine off. She turns smile at you, reaching over to hold your hand.

You smile back at her and let her fingers slip into yours, squeezing her hand.

"I don't think we brought enough money to stay at a hotel." you reply, shrugging lightly.

"It also seems like a popular time so I don't think we'll even get a room."

You turn to see the party goers having fun on the beach, "perhaps they'll let us join them."

Teresa laughs.

You eventually find a hotel with a spare room and at a relatively cheap price. The guests had cancelled and the hotel is willing to give you the room, even if it is last minute.

It's not the most luxurious hotel room to ever exist, but it's better than nothing. It also gives you a nice view of one of the best areas of the beach.

Exhausted from the long drive, Teresa is the first to fall asleep. You don't want to wake her up but you can't suppress your need to cuddle so you wriggle in under the sheets beside Teresa and wrap your arms around her. Eventually, you fall asleep too, in Teresa's embrace.

The next day, the beach is far quieter than it was last night and surprisingly really clean considering all the soft drink cans your spotted. You can't help but grin, thinking you've hit the jackpot and found the perfect beach for you and Teresa.

"C'mon! I want to go into the water already!" You hand grabs Teresa's wrist and you drag her down to the soft sand. She struggles with the picnic basket and mat in her hands but she's too busy smiling at your antics to care.

The picnic isn't anything fancy, just a few sandwiches with your favorite fillings, some fruit the both of you enjoy, a box of the local pizza and some fresh juice.

With anybody else, a picnic date on the beach might've sound a little too boring and slow for you but with Teresa, it's perfect. Even fresh air, the calming waves and cool sand beneath your feet feel inferior when you look into Teresa's eyes, knowing you're the reason behind her smile.

Collecting seashells, listening to the ocean waves as background to your favorite music, holding hands as the two of you lie on your backs, looking up at the sky is all you can ask for this Valentine's Day.
